I have idea on XI certification regarding TBIT 40-41-42-43 but I need more information regarding PI 7.1 Teched Certification....material and syallabus...

Help with BW/BI training and certification material and clarifications

FOlks-
I am new to SAP BW/BI area. Seriously considering this training. However, I am SAP XI certified and could not find a opening so moving into BW area. Can anyone advise and calrify me the following please? I know that there is no stict or definite answer for any of these. Butm expert opinion always counts:
1. Is it worth to spend $1500 and take the training now hoping to find a break?
2. When I am aiming at certification I should be aiming for BW certification. In which case, what kind of material is needed? Is it the TBW10, TBW20, TBW30, TBW40, TBW41, TBW42, and TBW45 for BW certification or we need BW310, 320, 330 etc..?
3. How these TBW* and BW3* materials are different.
Appreciate your quick input into this.

the TBW courses are the so-called "Academy Courses", they usually combine a few of the "normal" BW courses
also, the teachers tend to focus more on certification during those TBW courses (which to me is proof that the entire certification is purely marketing)
bW material describes for only bws this not certification
and TBW10, TBW20, TBW30, TBW40, TBW41, TBW42, and TBW45,,also DBW70R (Advanced Reporting) are enough for BW certification .
and the first question..i cant answer and thats left to u....and wahts i feel is anything in this world of SAP is worth learning..

Reg. Process cost and raw material cost added

Dear Friends
Please consider our below scenario
PO is created and stock is maintained in unrestricted (Raw material)
and then Production order is created for Cut pcs and Raw material is issued to production order through 261 mvt type
next Cut pcs is received against the production order through 101 Mvt type. Now operation cost is not added with the Raw material cost, only the Raw material cost is represents in MIGO-> FOOTER - QUANTITY->Quantity in LC field. What to do to calculate the process cost too.
When we receive the cut pcs what we attached as component to the cutpcs's cost is calculated, the charge for Cutting is not calculated. we want both cutpcs charge(10.00 per pc)+component cost(raw mat. 180.00 per 1 kg)
Cut pcs 10 pcs * 10 Rs = 100 Rs
Raw mat 10 kg * 180 Rs = 1800 Rs
the total cost is 1900 Rs should come in that field

Reg Excisable Material and non Excisable material. Billing and delivery....

Dear Experts,
Greetings!!!
Here I am using TAXINN; my client is doing business excisable material and non excisable material.
He received the order from his customer both excisable material and non excisable material in Single PO.
At the time of delivery he needu2019s non- excisable and excisable material would be separate delivery documents.
He is not ready to do manually selection in out bound delivery.
In this process what should I need to configure.

Yes , we are not using trasportation group.
I will follow as you suggested.
I will copy the same routien, there i will write programme, when ever delivery is going to save, then system slpit two delivery documents, one for excisable material, second non excisable material.
If i am doing wrong please you can correct me.
Once i done this, let you know.

HR deals with the INFOTYPES which are similar to Tables in General ABAP.
There are different ways of fetching data from these infotypes.
There are different areas in HR LIKE Personal Admn, Orgn Management, Benefits, Time amangement, Event Management, Payroll etc
Infotypes for these areas are different from one another area.
storing of records data in each type of area is different
LDBS like PNP are used in HR programing.
Instead of Select.. we use some ROUTINES and PROVIDE..ENDPROVIDE.. etc
and in the case of Pay roll we use Clusters and we Import and Export them for data fetching.
On the whole Normal ABAP is different from HR abap.
For Personal Admn the Infotypes start with PA0000 to PA1999
Time Related Infotypes start with PA2000 to PA2999.
Orgn related Infotypes start with HRP1000 to HRP1999.
All custom developed infotypes stsrat with PA9000 onwards.
In payroll processing we use Clusters like PCL1,2,3 and 4.
Instead of Select query we use PROVIDE and ENDPROVIDE..
You have to assign a Logical Database in the attributes PNP.
