Reg : Relaton between GI & GR

Hi All,
what is the relation ship between GR - Mvmt type 101(GR goods receipt ) and GI - Mvmt type 261 (GI for order)..
To be more specific is there any field in MSEG table that relates Mvmt types 101 and 261 ??

Hi,
     The G/R and the G/I cannot correspond.
     However, it is possible to correspond by the same batch if the batch management is used.
     There are function trc:BMBC - Batch Information Cockpit .
      When the same batch is stocked from two or more purchase orders, correspondence with the purchase order
      cannot be decided.

Reg:SC between plants with new material

Hi all,
Iu2019ve a scenario as follows,
SC process between plants
Plant X & Plant Y
Plant X sent material C to get the material A which goes as normal SC purchase order
After the material reaches the plant Y it adds new material B(excisable) to this material C and then sends back to plant X as material A
Now my doubt is for the normal SC purchasing the operation cost could be captured as regular but for the new material B (which is excisable) which is added at plant Y the excise invoice is raised by plant Y
How am to map this scenaio in SAP

Hello Sanjoo,
As mentioned I can do it as STO process but is it possible to address the same thru subcontracting process, ie from plant x the material is sent along with the excise invoice after receiving the material in plant y they add another material B which is excisable and make the material C, which they sent it back to plant A . The operation cost is added on the material and the excise is captured individually
now for this process STO with excise is good or can i follow the SC process where i create SC po for the operation and normal PO with Tax code for the new material added,
suggest me the better process

Reg Differrences between SynBo and Data Object

Hi,
I want to know the architectural diffrences between a SyncBo of MI 2.5 and Data Object of NWM 7.1. As it is given in help.sap.com documentation I think A data object support multiple levels of parent- child hirearchy where as a SyncBo is limited to one level of Header and Items.Similarly do any other differences exist?
2) In what way A data Object concept is better than that of a Synco.?
3) For manipulating the data of a data Object on Front end, Can we Use the existing SmartSync API of MI 2.5, or a seperate API for client side is going to be released?

Hello Rajesh,
1. The differences are small. You pretty much highlighted the biggest one (multi child node). Other differences exist in the fact that a SyncBO is linked to a backend BAPI as the DO is not (you would usually create the DO with the fields you need and then have backend adapters to fill it). Lifecycle of the DO is also different. Even release, non destructive change can happen and old application as well as new application will work at the same time. I can list a couple more, but I think you get that a SyncBO is different than a DO (even if in our development we still get mix both wording:))
2. Yes DO is a better concept than SyncBO.
3. There are 3 ways of accessing API on the client side. The first is the old SmartSync API which is only used in backward compatibility application (MAM for example). It should not be used for new development, but only to leverage existing one. After that you have two new frameworks for laptop and for PDA that you can find in NWDS 7.1. They reviewed the naming so I am not sure of the current ones, but I think it is something like Mobile Application for Handheld and Mobile Application for Laptop. Those two new framework uses WebDynPro flavored UI and provide access to the sync/data layer.

Documents have been posted in 31.03.2010 those have been updated in 2009 (FSV - F.01). Same documents amounts is showing
in 2010 while checking FSV through profit center.
Can anybody give me solution how the balance is appear in 2010 FSV.

But my response is that whenever you post any document in a Balance sheet account and if you have done a balance carryforward to next year using F.16, then it will appear in the subsequent year also.

Now we are planning to implement SAP Business one. After three years we will bring in complete SAP implementation.
1.Can you please tell the difference between complete SAP Implementation and SAP B1.
2.Could you please explain, if we implement SAP B1 right now. will there be any problem if we go for complete implementation.
3.If the business grows above one billion,will B1 hold good?
4.What is the business suite?

Hi,
Every body. Almost six months back I purchased Nokia 701. That time I feel I made a mistake by purchasing 701 instead of 808 pure view as I am a bit camera centric. Now even though 701 takes reasonably good photos and video under most conditions, on some occasions like recording performance of my daughter in school anniversary from a considerable distance, it's performance falls short of my expectations. Can anybody pl help me between choosing digital camera by sheeling out some Rs 6 to 7 thousand( Indian Rupees) or purchasing 808. Total cost of both items i.e digital camera and 701 already purchased is almost equal to Nokia 808(Rs 26,000).

If your on a budget go for the 701,if you can afford the 808 go for it,

Reg : Difference between Dates

Hi Friends,
I am having an issue in finding out the date differences .
I am working on a report that shows the planned hours for a production order based on activities and work center. it is having a start date and end date as characteristics.
User will input the a date range and if the start and end date are lying in the given range it should give the sum of hours for all the production orders at a work center level. This comes straight forward.
But if the start date lies in the given user range and end date in future. The caluclation of the Planned hours is difference between the ( User given date (to value ) - start date ) * 24 * 60 Mins. , as user enters from and to value.
I have tried with characteristic value replaced by key and using a formula to get the difference , this works only when the start date is in rows or columns.
The report requires at a much summarized level, So I cannot use it .
I then tried making the start date a Keyfigure and then created a formula , but this is also not working .
Kindly give me some idea or solution if anyone has worked.

In my organization we are using Blackberry 9630 mobiles for person tracking.My application requests Location updates for every 15 secs.Some times My application is not getting GPS Position for hours.For other Blackberry mobiles (9300,8900,8820,8310) it is working fine.I googled this problem,some people linking this issue with Network carrier .Please tell me what is the Relation between Atonomous GPS positioning and Network carrier .

This could be related to Cell Site Location services. Some wireless providers use triangulation with their wireless towers to provide an approximate location. This location is not typically accurate within a couple kilometers. The BlackBerry will use Cell Site Location if it is unable to retrieve a GPS location.
You will have to consult with your wireless provider to determine if its supported.

(In KONV no values found for that one)
how can i move it internal table.

The link is the field EKKO-KNUMV:
SELECT * FROM EKKO .....
SELECT * FROM KONV WHERE KNUMV = EKKO-KNUMV
but you should consider not all conditions are stored in table KONV, because some conditions (generally subtotals) are calculated at runtime.

REG : Communication between R3 systems and PDK applciations

Hi All,
I have created one APC in Ep7.0 where i am accessing RFC .I am able to fetch the details from the RFC.But we need to pass the parameters from front end to get the details from the RFC.
Can anybody help me in this reagard that how to pass values from portal componets(APC,JSPDynpage...) to R3system.
consider this issue as an important one.Please help.

Reg: Integration between two application

Hi,
I have a scenario where Application A will drop a flat file in one of the unix directory, and this file needs to be fed into the Application B.
Appl A ---> Flat file ---> Appl B
The file needs to be processed immediately when it arrives in respective unix folder.
Please suggest me the best approach to implement this.

STO is Stock Transport order. It is used for inter company transfer of goods. Plant to plant transfer and even transferring raw material to Third party contractors (Job Work).
The Process is you create a STO do delivery against the STO and create a Billing Document against the STO.

VK15 gives you the relaton between the Condituion type and table. You can create records for specific condition type belonging to specific condition table.
Whereas in the other case VK11, you can generically create the record for the condition type.

PLA register update

HI GURU,
As per the central excise act, Every customer excise invoice should update PLA register. In SAP PLA register update, when will we pass the TR6 challan on J2IH. There is no relaton between Excise Invoice & PLA register. Because Excise Invoice is going on J1IIN & Print in VF01. Accounting Entry like:
Customer A/c Dr.
Sales Revnue Cr.
Cenvat Suspenses Cr.
Then Pass the FB50 for Cenvat Utilization
PLA on Hold A/c Dr.
Bank Cr.
TR6 Challan Update: J2IH
PLA A/c Dr
PLA on Hold A/c Cr
Same Accounting Entry is updating in PLA register J2I6
But Issue is how to update the PLA register no. in Customer excise invoice PLA no Column?
Can any one guide to me, where is the configuration.
