REG: Sysadmin user dashboard filled up with notifications

hi ,
when i log in to the applications using sysadmin user i can see lot of notifications in the
dashboard due to which it is taking long time .
please provide me the action plan such that this notifications goes to some other user instead of sysadmin and my dashboard is clear .

How many of them you see in the page at a time?
Was the performance acceptable before? If yes, any changes been done since then?
Do you have the stats collected up to date?

How to validate input fields as the user is filling up a form with jQuery?

Hello EA friends.
Someone has experimented on how to validate input fields as the user is filling up a form with jQuery?, if the field is numeric and insert an A for example, an alert appears showing "insert a number" or not allowed to enter anything until a number is entered.

I've never had this problem before, I noticed improvements a few days ago regarding pattern tool but the last few days I've been unable to fill layers with a user defined pattern. This is one of the main reasons I use photoshop and it's giving me a headache!!! I have to turn in some patterns by monday and this is not working, please fix it!!

we are in OSS registered as CCC. I am able to send notifications from our SolMan to OSS with components(instalations) which are registered under out SAP customer number(our SolMan instalation etc.).
When I want to sned notification for our customers to OSS but with component of our customer(he has another SAP number, his instalation) then I got an error message

I have a live login and MS ID 4 my SkyDrive account but I only use my MS touch with 8.1, SkyDrive and office 365 for mobility.
And I still like to backup to my own server!!!
What would be good is if I can put all the software licenses and product keys of the software and keep a record of my mac addresses for hardware and even static IP's in a file or a secure location within the MS online store.
That's where MS wants me to get my computing needs from in future and I will always be able to retrieve it in future but what about the $$$$$ I have spent on software, hardware and applications prior to now???
I know u guys love 2 collect data 4 marketing analysis,
4 example I have an old PC that is still running a server from last century - if you knew about it a simple script would allow you to offer upgrades or at least relevant MS products - UNLIKE the rubbish adds I just turn off or tune out
now...

I looked at dozens of support pages and forum blogs and tried for hours to get a copy to download - including incognito and other logins but because my default PC name is also my MS Windows live ID the same error was repeated.
I keep away from the non MS sites for these things and with good reason - there were heaps of similar users with the same issue or very close to it that had downloaded from a supposed MS copy from eValue or digital river etc and the next
thing was total corruption of the OS.
EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit changes but so far, so good.
The point is - what a crock !

How do I create a shortcut to fill cells with the same background colour

I have recently starting using Numbers, being an Excel user for years.
I often fill cells with a yellow background to highlight them.
In Excel you can do this from a simple colour menu in the toolbar at the top.
I have found no quick and easy way to do this in Numbers.
Any advice would be appreciated.

As far as I can tell there's no direct equivalent of the little paintbucket button in Excel that remembers the last colour you filled with.
One quick and relatively easy way to achieve it would be with an AppleScript:

Is it possible to set a javascript to turn off the preference "Fill screen with one page at a time" when entering in Full Screen mode? So that way, it will override Acrobat or Reader application preferences when the PDF is open on users computers.

Data import for users of forms created with Livecycle Designer

Hello,
I have seen several posts regarding data import for forms created by Livecycle Designer but nothing that helps with something I am trying to accomplish. I can create a data connection and import information in a form but what I would like to do is import data, then send the pdf for completion to a user. There are a few data elements that I have available and the rest of the information comes from from the user. The problem I run into is once I create a data connection, the pdf is ALWAYS looking for the source file for that data. I simply want to prepopulate some fields and send to the various users for completion. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which type of Data Connection are you trying to create?
XML Schema, Sample Data File or WSDL?
Creating any one of first two types(mentioned above) will only create schema and will never import any data into PDF.
If you create the WSDL connection, you can surely import data (i.e. prepopulate data) into your PDF and forward it for users review/fill.
If I misunderstood your question, please get me clarified.

HELP! How do I set the pdf so the user can fill it in and "save as" but protect original pdf?

I created the pdf form and extended user rights which allows the end user to fill the form in. However, if they press "Save" instead of "Save As" they overwrite the original pdf. How can I protect the pdf so they cannot overwrite it but they can use the "Save As" option after filling in the form?

But guys, aren't there PDF's on the internet that are write-protected so that even if you open it and interact with it (view it) it does not allow you to save changes? I have seen this before -- a dialog box comes up saying that editing of the PDF file is not possible.
I have also seen files where you can "Save a Copy As..."

Restrict User to fill mandatory Views in MM41 article creation

Currently I am working on an object where I had to restrict the user for filling at least 4 views at the time of creation of an Article using MM41.
Currently user can create an article by just filling the Basic Data (of Basic data tab) and save the article. Later on he adds the sales view, purchase view etc.
My requirement is that at the time of saving the article , i need to check whether the recomended views are filled or not, if not filled I need to give a message to the user and restrict him from SAVING the article. when he completes the required views then only he can save the article.
I had checked the transaction MM41 I found 2 exits viz.
MGW00001 Material Master (Retail): Additional Data
MGW00002 Material Master (Retail): Number Assignment
but I dont think these are of any use to me ? (please confirm).
Also i had found one BADI :- BADI_SCREEN_LOGIC_RT
it has 3 methods : REDUCE_SCREEN_SELECTION,
                           CHANGE_SCREEN_SEQUENCE and
                           AREA_OF_VALIDITY_DIRECT.
My query : Is this the valid BADI which I acn use for my problem ?
                 If Yes then which method should be used ?
Also how can I get which all views are filled at the time of save , in order to check whether they are complete or not.

You might want to talk to the MM and/or authorization guys - they should know this stuff. This is hardly a workflow issue (at least at this point). Do few searches here in SCN with key words "material master", "screen sequences", "authorization roles" or "restrict material master views" etc. and that should bring you to the right direction.

It is sap std practices that we are not creating notofication for refurbishment order
But we are tracing the driver for the process
the end user will create notifaction for planner for creating refurbishment order
But from notification we cannnotcreate Refurbishment order
Then how catch the driver so that false order should be crated
Or we can maintain some field mandatory so that creation of refurbishment process has some base

If you want to create Refurbuishment order after getting notification created by the user & also want to use work flow functionlity then also in ECC6.0 it is possible I have checked it User needs to create a notification on
O170 Equipment + Serial No. + Material No
This tab is avaliable Extras-->settings--> Reference Object view . Please note that the Material number,serial number combination gives equipment number & equipment number will have partner determination procedure & work flow functionlity.
With this triggerd notification you can create refurbuishment order where yo will get material number,serial number & equipment number with std link
This scenirion is working in all combination in ECC6.0 system. Please check & if any thing needed let us know.

How to create user editable Crystal Report with dynamic dataset

What I would like to achieve:
A program loads a report in runtime updates list of database fields (possibly includes sample data), open report in "Crystal Reports 2011" (or 2008) where user customizes report and saves it. Later on the program loads the report, fills actualized data and displays it in .net report viewer.
What I do:
CrReport = New CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument
CrReport.Load(TemplateFilename)
Dim Results As DataTable
DataTable is filled from a database
CrReport.SetDataSource(mResults)
CrReport.SaveAs(NewReportPath, True)
The NewReportPath is opened in the default program.
What are the problems
The report is open in preview mode (not in design).
When the field is added to the report the designer asks for XML datasource on preview.

The short answer is that it is not possible. I broke the question to other two: How to save a report that it opens without preview? and How to create user editable Crystal Report with dynamic dataset, where it is possible to find details. How to fill array with random number?

I need to fill a 3-dimensional array that has user-controlled dimension sizes with random numbers (1-10). I'm unsure of how to do this. I feel like I have to use the initialize array and maybe the build array functions somehow but I'm not entirely sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue with SharePoint notification email when sharing list item with users, the notification email gives wrong list item URL, in fact it gives strange URL like this (http://mycollection/sites/lists/list1/01_000)
the strange thing that list item url is correct when sending share with notification if you apply it to document library, but it is not working well if you apply it to custom list!!
can any body tell me whats wrong with SharePoint ?

Is this a restored list\library ?
