B2B-50079 Transport error: To Transport Informations Not found

Hi,
I'm trying an outbound scenario in b2b using ebXML. When i tried to test, 3 messages for a single instance can be seen.
1.A message entry with correct document type which converts custom format to ebXML format and the status is in "MSG_WAIT_ACK" for some time. (sender and receiver are correct)
2. A message entry with document type acknowledgement is seen with status "MSG_ERROR". (sender and receiver both are same - means the host TP)
3. A message entry with no document type and status as "MSG_ERROR". (sender and receiver both are same - means the host TP)
Later, the original message entry state changes from "MSG_WAIT_ACK" to "MSG_ERROR" since the retry for acknowledgement is over.
What is the mistake I'm doing here? Please help me to resolve this.

Have you created a channel in remote trading partner profile? If yes, have you included the channel in the agreement? If yes, then save validate and deploy the agreement again. Make sure that URL in ebMS channel is not pointing to same B2B host.

Reg : Transportation of roles

Hi Experts,
I have made changes to a role and I was waiting for approval to move that particular changes to
Production system. In the meantime other person who is working on the same role made some changes and he had moved his change to the production system.
Problem is when he released the Transport to Production, changes moved along with changes what I made to the role.
This would be dangerous if suppose my changes were rejected to move to production system.
Can any one advise me 1) How to Transport roles only with changes made by particular user were transported instead of transporting the entire role ? so that only If my transport is released, changes gets effected into the production system.Is there any mechanism in SAP for it.
2) should I follow some other process to avoid two people working on the same role.
Kindly clarify my doubts. Awaiting for your replies.

Hi Sanjeev,
This issue with roles is compounded by the fact that roles may be downloaded from one system and uploaded in another, leaving no transport trace. Of course download/upload can be prevented.
One approach would be for the Security and Authorization team to take care of changes in roles.
But many organizations would not have such a team. Another approach would be for custom roles to be changed only by the creator or last changed person as far as possible. This would of course be a matter of discipline.

We have built a report on AR Report i.e.AR Aging Report. In this report we are having a column called Site. Now our client requirement is that we need to pull Site information from OM(Order Management) i.e. location site of sales orders where it was generated and as well as need to pull site information from Services also i.e location site of the SR's where it was generated.
May I know how to fetch site information from both OM and Services through AR.

Hi,
Yes. create a workbench request and open it in change mode.
Now you will have table with editable fields with 3 fields.
1. In programID field enter R3TR
2. In object type field enter SUSO
3. In Object name field enter the respective Z authorization object.
You also need to make sure that the respectie class is available in the target systems. if not, repeat the above procedure with object type as SUSC.

Step1: T.Code: VL01N: Just Create Delivery Note here. Do not do the Picking and Packing.
(This is Client Specific)
Step 2: T.Code: VT01N: Create Shipment.
Here mention your Transportation Point and Shipment Type you Configured for this and Click on deliveries ICON.
GO to W.ref to
Outbound Delivery : Give your Delivery Number that you created earlier for this shipment and F8( Excute)
Then Select the Delivery and Click on OverView
Here Click on Planning then automatically Route( If route determination is done) and Vendor Number get generated and Save the Data.
Step.3: T.Code: VL02N: Change Delivery.Here give the Delivery no and
Do picking, Packing ( If necessary) and PGI.

sales order can be done either in ISU or in CRM(First thing u need to understand is ECC contains all Industry specific componets, what ever the component required for client we will be activating, as utility is also one in that.
when we say ISU u need to understand that R3 also available by default if that is ECC6.0 and ISU is not a different server.)

CCS in ECC has got limited functionalities , and CRM web client has got Full fledged functionality
And Winclient is No more with CRM
And the same u got with ECC which u r calling as CCS

I have around 800 Info Objetcs in my Dev system. I have considated required info objetcs to move to quality (around 200). My question is: is there any way to collect these consolidated info objects into one request at a time. Becoz collecting manually means takes time. Please let me know experts suggestion.

Just give your 200 objects in the below way in an excel sheet (each in single cell)
R3TR     IOBJ     ZMAterial
R3TR     IOBJ     Zplant
R3TR     IOBJ     Zcity
R3TR     IOBJ     Zcalday
R3TR is the program id (2nd column) [you go into the Se01-> select request -> display-> you will find a table (objects tab)   -> edit]
IOBJ is the object type (3rd column)
Object name is the infoobjects tech name.
just copy the 200 objects into the excel sheet (as 3rd column) give R3TR and IOBJ in the first adn second columns. do it for all 200 objects inheir 1st and 2nd columns.
Copy all of themand paste them in corresponding columns in se01. [you go into the Se01-> select request -> display-> you will find a table (objects tab)   -> edit]
PS: Program id (R3TR) may difer from project to project

         ST22 is used to analyze the dumps/runtime errors across the system which occur due to error in programs while execution.
         SM37 is used to check the job details which are run in background also in foreground. Suppose if you are activating a request in an ODS you can see the job log and can analyze the steps it is going through.
          OS06 is Operating system monitor which can contain details like CPU usage, memory usage....
          SM66 is used to see the workprocess overview and the for which user job it is engaged.
          ST04 is used to check the database statistics which is used as a backend for the SAP system.
          SM12 is used to view the lock entries. Sometimes the respective tables get locked due to connection error from the end. And when we try to access the object it gives a message saying that the object is locked by the user. In such a case we can go to SM12 and unlock the object.

Transporting of variants

I have a question concerning variants and how they get created on different systems. I have created a variant on our DEV system for a process and now the process is getting ready to move to QA. whhen I created and saved the variant, I was not prompted for the transport inform ation. I checked SE10 and noticed that the variant is not part of the transport for my process. Do I have to manually collect the variant for a transport or will the variant have to be manually created in the QA environment.

Data format/encoding of Transport files?

Hello everyone,
When an export is done, two files are generated - an Rxxxx and Kxxxx file.
The K file contains transport information (I can see it with a utf-8 text editor) and the R file the contents of the transport. However, I cannot determine what encoding is used - looks like some type of binary file.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF ENCODING AND HOW I CAN CONVERT THIS TO A NON-BINARY FORMAT?
I've tried the SAR utility but this does not seem to work.
I have searched for this a bit but have come up empty.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi John,
the format in which the data are stored in the data file is AFAIK a SAP own format. So, I don't think you will find any other tool which is able to read this file. But you don't need another tool, you have R3trans.
With the command
R3trans -l <data file> [-w <logfile>] [-v <verbose level>]
you can list the content of a data file. R3trans writes this content into the log file trans.log by default, but this can be changed with the -w option. And with the option -v you can increase the verbose level (just specify a number > 1) to let R3trans write more details into the log.
Just try it, perhaps it matches your needs...

Post Transport Syntax Error in Methods .

Hi ,
Would like to know if there is a post transport error while transporting a method , will the CLASS also become inactive or only the method will be inactive .
If for eg , am transporting a change to the method and in the method am refering to a data element which is not available in the target system . On transporting the method , there will be syntax error in the method in the target syste, since the data element is not avaialble . And the method will become inactive . In this scenario , will the class also become inactive ?

Yes, Class will also as during transport SAP will try to generate all the object dynamically on the basis of the transport information provided on K and R files. If in case any basic element is missing then all the object those are using that basic elements will give error while generation and remain in inactive mode till you go and correct the problem or import the corrected transport.

Transport of queries from production to developement

Hello BI Community,
We allow ad-hoc query development in our production system. Yet certain queries are critical and must be "certified" so that they cannot be overwritten in an ad-hoc manner.
The method for certifying a query is to transport it from the development system, and once done the only way to change this query is to move another transport.
As more and more sophisticated queries need to be certified, it is becoming difficult to re-create those queries in the development system for the certification process.
Does anybody have experience or recommendations around moving a query that was originally created in the production system BACKWARDS to the development system ? Then it would be easy to move forward again via transport for certification.

Hi Kiran,
1. Open production system
2. Create transport (1) in Prod, add queries, process chains, etc.
3. Create new transport (2) in Prod (in SE01) of type "Transport of Copies"
4. Enter your target system on this screen (choose your Dev system here!)
5. Include objects from transport 1 into transport 2
6. Release transport 2 to go to Dev
7. Delete transport 1 from Prod. This release locks on the objects.
8. Close Prod
8. Import transport 2 into Dev system
OR
The reverse transport is usually not setup , what you could do is :
1. As BASIS to set up the connection
2. Copy the transport object into file and then import it manually into Development
