Reg:Triggering WF when Inf Typ 0008 Changed

Hi SDNers,
I need to trigger a workflow when infotype 0008 has been changed at PA30.
Workflow has to send mail to an approver, once approver approved, chages has to update at database, when rejects, has to revert the changes back. How can I do this? Is there any standard workflow to do the Same.

Hi,
First check by linking the event APPROVED of BASICPAY bor in the start events of the workflow and activate the event linkage and try to check. The workflow will trigger. IF the data is getting updated before the workitem is approved then, follow as below
But I think looking at your only after approval you wanted to store the updated data into the respective infotype..This can be acheived by creating a custom functin moudle with the same signature as it has for HR_EVENT_RULES_PA0008 and by making use of after and before image parameters you can achevie this.
And make an entry in SWEHR3 with same BOR BASICPAY and event APPROVED.

All,
I have a situation where I would like to trigger and adjustment when the expense type is changed. The issue is that the GL account for the two expense types are the same and no adjustment is triggered. while the Expense type, wage type, and descriptions are different. all of this is by design.
As the GL interface is not triggered the table PTRV_ROT_AWKEY- Assignment of Trip Results to Posting Doc. Number and Line- is not updated with the modified details.
How can we trigger adjustment postings when the expense type is changed?

Update Item when Content Type is changed in the browser

I feel like I might be missing something obvious here - I set up a number of managed content types. While editing a list item with multiple content types, when a user changes to a different content type using the drop down at the top of the page,
the edits are not saved. Is there any way to force an update when the user changes content type? Clicking save returns the user to the list view which means the user needs to edit it again, and navigate to the content type.

Per my understanding, you might want to update item with the input values when content type changed by selecting an option in the “Content Type” drop down menu in
EditForm.aspx page.
A Content Type is a set of predefined columns, from the perspective of the use of Content Type in a list, it would be easier to maintain per record with only one content
type as an item, this is also a recommended behavior when working with multiple content types in a list.
If you want to take use of columns from multiple content types in an item, a suggestion is that you can create a custom content type with the columns from other content
types you want, then add it into your list.

The reason for this system behaviour is in fine-tuned control: We was
using ZMIN only for new message output and ZCHG only for change messagesNevertheless, you can maintain two entries in WE20 for ORDCHG:
EF ZCHG ME11 w/o Change message flag
EF ZCHG ME11 with Change message flag

Thanks for replying again. I've got a little bit further thanks to you. I tried the US keyboard layout as you seemed pretty definte that it should work. This time I applied the setting and also started the language toolbar and selected it from there.
Hey presto, I've got the @ where it should be. Excellent.
However the single quote ' works in a weird way. When I press it, it doesn't show up on the screen. But when I press another key, I get the single quote plus the next key I press. When I press the single quote twice, I get 2 of them. This is also the same with the SHIFT ' key. i.e. for the double quotes.
Very strange. I'll look at other keyboards and see where that gets me.

To migrate your data to a new iCloud account go to Settings>iCloud and turn off all synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.), when prompted choose to keep the data on your phone. Does it happen when you reply to an email? If so, it might be that there's content in the original email (like an image or something similar) that overflows the window content, therefore the Mail app, when you hit the border, follows the content below instead of going on a new line. You might wanna try that.

It's possible your current os has different keychain troubleshooting solutions. Try re-posting (copy paste) over in the OS X Mountain Lion forum area and do a Knowledge Base search.

Please can someone explain how to delete and email address that when typed in brings up one name but when you hit return to confirm it jumps to another name. I can't find them in my contacts list but they do come up when you type the first few letters of a name.
EG If I type xyz and the name of the person comes up, when I press return to confirm that's the one I want then it jumps to [email protected], always the same def address.
I can't fathom it out.

Try this:
Start a new email. In the To address bar, type in xyz like you normally do, press return to confim, and when the address you want to remove shows up in the address bar, move your cursor over the address you want to delete.
A small triangle next to the name will show up. click on it, a drop down menu will open, click Remove from Previous Recipients List. Then do the drop down menu again and Remove Address.
