Recently i got a problem Which i never across My requirement is i need to upload the data from a flat file with hex characters which r not in the acceptable formats like "#" my client needs it in his data target how can i up load is there any option? Could any one come across this type of issue if yes could please give me the clarification.If any docs can u just mail to the follwoing [email protected]

have you maintain RSKC with ALL_CAPITAL ?
it should accept all special characters,
in case # appear in middle, you may check Claudio's routine ..
RSKC and # sign in the middle of a word
Permitted characters during BW data load
Load problem.......Special Chars..Urgent..

First of all read the excel data into an internal table using a function module GUI_UPLOAD or use the method GUI_UPLOAD of the class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES.
Loop at the internal and process each record and either transfer the required data into another internal table or delete the unwanted from the same table.
Use the function module GUI_DOWNLOAD or the method GUI_DOWNLOAD of the class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES to download data into a text file.
The program should contain Input and Output file paths as Selection Screen parameters.

Hi all ,
In the table tadir where thers is field called obn_name its length is Char 40.
& im using for all entries with table modsap where the name length is Char 08.
when i try to use for all entires for the above 2 table 's
its giving error like this .
when using the addition 'for all entries in itab"the fields "NAME" & " ITAB-OBJ_NAME must have same length.
How to resolve this ???

It will work only if both the fields are having same value. You can do one thing you can supress the unwanted 0's from begining of field if any.

There are some servers which are tagged as No restart servers(which cannot be rebooted regularly) due to some critical apps are running on them.
Is there any reg value or some thing where we can find the server is pending for a reboot from SCCM? currently the SCCM services are stopped on them to prevent any unwanted reboot.
But if can find this info it will be very helpful

I am having problems deleting unwanted photos from my photos app on my ipad, I synced with my pc as i wanted to see how the system worked, and now i cannot delete any of them, even with the delete button at the top left hand side, which does not function
If it was synced from your computer then it can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need remove/de-select it from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

How would an Apple fan keep unwanted images out of Photostream in IOS 8?
So Apple decides that people don't need an uncluttered thumbnail view of all photos stored in their iPhone in IOS 8. And the UI geniuses also decide that the concept of cloud (aka "server side" in 90's terms) storage and local storage is just too much for the average iPhone user to grasp.
The UI design choices that sprung from this mindset have reduced usability, efficiency, but more importantly the family friendly reputation that Apple trades on in nearly all of their marketing material.
Finding images (particularly when you have thousands) in the Years/Collections/Moments(Maps too!) paradigm is ridiculously inefficient compared to a scrolling screen with rows upon rows of thumbnails touching each other in chronological order. Of course we can quibble about whether the chronology should be based on file creation dates or EXIF metadata but those are decisions that we don't get in the IOS world (yes, another complaint). My main point here is that they had no reason to get rid of Camera Roll. Why can't it exist alongside the YCMM world of dates/locations and useless search tools? Let's face it, the new Recently Added Album is just a silly smart folder as are all the other albums. Why can't I change the 30 day date range to one of my choosing? Or why can't I add what Apple would call a Smart Album into my Albums just as I can add Cro-Mag dumb albums that need constant updating? This would bring back that good old Camera Roll functionality so people not confused by cloud vs local and like to keep track of their original image files could be happy. And the people that need Simple would be happy too.
But back to my original query. I use my iPhone for many purposes including work. I also take iPhone screenshots for work. I also take a lot of pictures and not all of those images should be in my family and sharing oriented personal Photostream. After all Apple, you sold me an Apple TV which I can fire up and share my recent life experiences with others. Why the heck would I want product photography, conference room whiteboard pics, iPhone wallpaper, and all the different images that are not the "selects" but that I want to archive using Lightroom or iPhoto anyway showing up IN MY FAMILY SLIDESHOWS? One of the benefits of digital imaging is the cheap cost of creating and storing many images. I use my iPhone often as I would a DSLR and I frequently shoot many images that are very similar, sometimes using burst mode in the phone. Why would you force me to completely delete images that are not "favorites/selects" just so I can maintain a decent slideshow via Photostream? Why do you not want me to have pleasing wallpaper downloaded via the sundry App Store wallpaper apps? Any new wallpaper I add will now be in the Photostream. Yes, family dinner with the Apple TV slideshow showing images of cars, puppies, clouds, and abstract patterns interspersed with the trip to the pool last weekend sure makes for some great viewing!
This is because you also killed the Photostream album view and I can no longer delete unwanted Photostream images unless I also want to completely delete the image local to the iPhone. If you go to the YCMM (Years/Collections/Moments/Maps) Photo tab there is no way to treat the local image separately from the cloud based Photostream image. This is absurd. You can't pitch Photostream as a lifestyle feature since you now prevent editing and curating this very audience specific collection of images. It's as if you forgot that a huge number of iPhone users are creative professionals! And we use our iPhones for professional purposes as well as personal.
Not to mention that this design choice HUGELY increases the probability of "inappropriate" photos being uploaded to the cloud and lost control over through hacking or just user misunderstanding of how iCloud and Photostream works. Amazing that Apple would do this considering the recent scandal.
So now I'll answer my own original question with a lame "workaround" answer. And yes, it involves a lot more work as opposed to the couple of touches that I used frequently in IOS 7 and earlier to curate my Photostream right on my iPhone: You have to have another IOS device (pre IOS 8) and delete the images from Photostream from there. Or use iPhoto to do the same. So add yet another task to your Reminders app that is now much more of a hassle.
Apple, for the love of Pete, please don't take away control over my source image files and my ability to create collections of images for different purposes.

It's not just **** either but maybe legitimate images that you don't want shared out in the world, such as your wife and daughters caught on camera whilst sunbathing topless in the security of a private villa on holiday. That could prove embarrassing to them if they found their way out into the public domain, easily done by accident from a phone. The fact is that Apple have decided for pure commercial gain to take control of our means of controlling and storing our images. I shoot mainly portraits of my extended family and Landscapes. I don't want to share my images across mobiles etc, I want to sell them or give them to family members myself . Apple you are losing the plot here and alienating your core supporters.

Mail can't send email from 123-reg accounts
Hi all,
I've got an issue with Mac Mail can’t send email from 123-reg accounts.
I know there is a lot of articles on simular matters and some I have tried out with no luck, others are just speaking a whole other language.
Any help would be greatly recived, here's my situation below:
Running a iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core i5 on OS X 10.8.3
I’m using 3 accounts on Macs Mail client, one is my iCloud account that is working fine and the other two are my 123-reg accounts that I use for business purposes. I’ve been working like this for a couple of years now and about 6 months ago I upgrade my operating system from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
2 or 3 months ago I randomly got a problem where I was unable to send any emails from my 123-reg account, I could only receive emails. I checked my settings and they were all correct and unchanged so I attempted to delete them and recreate the account but with no such luck.
I then decided to check if it was a problem at 123-regs end and attempted to log into web mail. This worked and was able to both send and receive emails so eliminated that possibility.
I also have these accounts set up on my iPhone, so checked if there was any issues and everything was working fine. I then checked my iphone details and made sure the same was on my desktop and still no such luck.
I’ve tried out some of the articles I’ve found on here (the ones written in plain English) still no results. I’m not very IT illiterate and just wondered if anyone else has got any ideas, whether there is something specific with 123-reg accounts and Mac Mail?

I have hidden unwanted books from the purchased area of the iBooks store, but they're are still appearing on the front page of iOS as cloud downloads, is there a way to remove these from iBooks without using the hide iCloud books button?
Let me explain a little more. I had downloaded a lot of free books in the past as a trial when iBooks was first released and since then I have decided I no longer want them, because of this I hid them from the purchased section of the iBooks store. The 5 books left are ones I decided to keep as seen in the following picture.
This is how it appears in iBooks on my mac. There are 4 books downloaded and 1 book that I have decided not to download at this time. I would still like to keep this book available in the cloud incase I want to download it again in the future. You’ll notice that hide iCloud books is not selected, if I wanted to hide the book that I have chosen to keep in the cloud, but have not downloaded yet I could.
This is exactly how I think this feature should work. If you have hidden a book from your purchases it should not show up in the mac Ibooks app. (I am aware you can never actually delete a purchase, just hide them and that hidden purchases can be restored to your account from within the account management section of the iBooks store).
The iOS app is working differently for me. Here is a picture of the purchased tab on the iBooks store in iOS Ibooks. Again notice that pictures of Lilly is still yet to be downloaded. This is how I expected it to look.

I have the iPhone 4, and yesterday I synced my photos onto iTunes, but now I have albums on my phone that cannot be deleted, and there is not an option to delete the items in the albums individually... How do I get rid of these unwanted albums? Using Windows 7.
If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

I'm having a rather frustrating problem with Logic 8, I'm getting unwanted arpeggio via midi and cannot seem to find a way to stop it. It's only occurring when the track is playing and only appears to be in this specific arrangement all my other tracks are fine.
I've checked the midi environment and there is no arp set up there.
Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having a scenario where i use a JDBC adapter to extract data from a DB. As a result of the query say, 10 rows are returned as message to XI server. I have a transformation (BPM) set and the receiver(target system) is a file. When i open the file to see its contents i can see only the first record been transfered. The mapping part used for the transformation node is having IF condition. But all the fetched records satisfies the conditions in the mapping.
Pls let me know the corrective step.

1)Check the input XML i.e all 10 records are coming into XI . This you can check in SXMB_MONI
2) Then you can test the mapping in the integration Reposiotry .. So now you can get if any mapping problem. For this , check is the occurence of target strcuture is 1..n or 0.n

3) If mapping is correct , then check the RWB->Message Monitoring->Message Display Tool and check the payload.
4) If this is correct, then check the File COntent Conversion of the Receiver File Adapter.

In mail Snow Leopard, the trash button was red, the unwanted mail orange,there was a type button. Now the type button is gone, the rest is grey, why?
I mean in OS X Lion of course. Same with Finder window: There used to be a 'Today' option, where has that gone? It was so easy to have an overview of the work you were busy with. Does anybody has a tip?

Reg: How to Stop Polling of JDBC Adapter without Scheduling the adapter
Dear Gurus,
Here I am having one requirement. My clients wants to send data from JDBC adapter (ORcale System table) to R3 system via RFC.
His Requirement::
1. He is not telling the time of data flow from Oracle server so that based on that we can schedule the adapter in the Communication Channel monitoring (Availablitiy Time Planning) or Else we can Schedule by deciding the setting of the polling interval time.
2. He is telling that When ever he waants to send the data he will place one dummy file in the File Adapter FTP location so that it will became an Indication for u to poll the jdbc adapter and to transfer the data to R3.
3. Untill he keeps the file or gives indication he doesn;t want to communicate with Oracle server due to some security and it s a most important data base he doesn't want to disturb that Oracle Server as so many business are running on that.....
We Proposed::
1. Atleast you need to tell the scheduling time or poll interval time so that we can schedule our adapter.
but he s not accepting for this
2. Atleast U need to give access for Data base to enter one more extra field like STATUS CODE so that we will add one number and we keep on Update in the Update table and based on that Update table statement it will poll.
but he s not even accepting for this
3. Finally we prposed that to create another table in the Oracle SYstem as Dulplicate Table which is similar to Standard Orginal table when ever he wants to pick the data please keep that data in this Duplicate TABle so that JDBC adapter will pick the data from thsi TABLE instead of picking the data from that standard table so that it will not effect any standard table data in the table.

We have done some R & D:::
1. WE approached even through BPM and via switch conditions is one scenario
FILE RECEIVE >SWITCH CONDITION> RECEIVE AND SEND or else EXIT
2. Using correlation in anotehr scenario means correlating File adapter and JDBC and based on one dynamica value it will goes to SEND STEP ( RECE IVE --> RECEIVE --> SEND STEPS )
Even though we know this...concept that...we jsut tried::
In BPM we can control the flow in XI 3.0 but we cannot Stop the Polling of JDBC adapter at backend because one the data comes from FILE adapter it will keep on HOLD untill it receives the JDBC from Oracle then based on the condition or Correlation it will goes futher SEND step means after that file adapter is picking file or not ...what ever it may be JDBC will polls at backend and brings that data to BPM"
Hence sugest me How to Stop Polling of JDBC Adapter without Scheduling the adapter or else using STATUS CODE Update statements in JDBC Tables

Material is shipped to Depot with excise invoice. What is the procedure at depot for GR.
Do i need to capture the excise invoice?. From Depot, there is no excise invoice generated for customers.
