Regardind Multi-Customer in STO

Hello All,
I have a urgent Issue need help. Could anyone help me? thanks frist.
As we know, the STO just can maintain a customer in IMG in ONE Sale orgnization.
Now the new damand as below , we(the receiveing plant) want to purchase a HALB from One Plant(supply plant1), at same time, we need to purchase another HALB form the other Plant(supply plant2), we want to implement this case as standard STO in SAP. this three plants are cross-company in orgnization of SAP.
Could anyone tell me how to setting and how to carry out this scenario implement?

  • Recovery Using Maxdb In Multi Customer Envirment

    Dear Friends,
We are having Multiple customer's in a ONE SAP system.
Suppose I am having 5 customer's in a one SAP ECC system.
One of my customer is not able to access the SAP system due to  data got corrupted at 3 pm for particular 1 customer.I am having the complete backup till 10 am.
In this scenario i left with only one option to recover the database. If i am doing the recovery of the database in that case all my customer's will loose the data after 10 am if i am doing complete recovery.
Is thier any way so that My Other 4 Customer's data  should not got affected by the doing the recovery of the one customer.
Below are details of the system
    OS RHEL 5
    DB MAXDB 7.7

    Dear lars,
Yes,5 different Customer's  in one database.
We are having one ECC system.I have created 5 client's in that SAP system for 5 customer's.they are doing thier work independently.
Suppose in one customer's database some  tables got corrupted.Due to that only for  that customer SAP system is not accessible but  for the rest of the four customer's SAP system is working fine.
I have  taken the  backup at 10 AM.And the customer faced the issue at 3 PM.In this case if i need to perform the recovery than all my customer's will be  affected. In that case if i am doing recovery than rest of the other four customer's will loss the data after 10 am.
Is thier any work around is possible so that i will be able to recover the independent  customer and my other 4 cutomer's should also not be affected.
    Downtime is not the issue.

  • Problem in Customer and sales Area assingment  for STO

    Hi Gurus,
I am working on STO cycle , while config. of STO in first step when i assinged customer and sales area to plant in NODE
"Define Shipping Data for Plants" ,here i can assinged only one customer belongs to only one Sales Area.
For Eg :- 1000/10/00 is my sales area and customer is 01
I assinged this to plant SID.
Now if i want to assinge different sales area for the same customer , Because STO will not ne happened only for one Division , it will transfer goods from many division from a single plant ,So how can assinge more division or more than one sales area to a single plant.
If through COMMON DIVISION , this problem is resolved please explain ,How means step. Because i want to assinge min 10 sales area to asingle plant means may be have to create common division funada, But how  I m not getting.
    Please Reply ASAP.
    Devdatta Joshi

    Dear Joshi,
1.First you do the common divisions and distribution channels through the t.codes VOR1 and VOR2.
    2. You assign common sales area to the suppliying plant which you have difined in the common divisions and distribution channels.
i.e you maintain one division and one distribution channel as reference to all other divisions and distribution channels.
3.The purpose of the assigning sales area data to suppliying plant is, we are allowing the system to sale or transferinmg the goods from that suppliying palnt.
I hope it will help you
    Thanks,
    Murali.

    Hi,
    Pls. do the following,
STO order to be placed on "X" plant by "Y" plant with all the condition type (like freight, cvd, cess)
Then do MIGO for Goods issue (351 movement) and it will generate accouting document for credit and debit to respective plants (Supply & receive).
Then do MIGO for Goods receipt (101 movement) and enter all escise details such as BED, Cess etc.
It will generate one internal excise no.
Then goto Transaction J1IG and enter this internal excise no. and posting year, fro this you can capture CVD.
Pls. note that CVD to be treated or considered as BED.
Award if it is found useful.

  • Suggestions for 'cpanel' type management system for OEL?

I am probably going to get shot to bits on here for asking about this - but I am interested to know if anyone has tested / used any 'panel' type systems on OEL.
For large multi customer hosting operations, where you sometimes want to give the customer partial control of the server (basic tasks such as restarting services, adding websites, etc) it's not always possible to simply give them a shell and tell them to get on with it - that usually causes more problems!
    So. Management panel for OEL?
    Anyone?

For administrators, http://www.webmin.com is popular. Not only can you remote admin the box, you can add custom buttons to run applications or your own scripts.

  • Migrating from Call Manager 8.5.1 to HCS

moving to HCS and apparently there is no configuration migration utility so the vendor has to type it all in. That seems strange to me so I am asking if any has ever heard of a way to get my Call Manager & Unity 8.5.1 configuration into HCS without having to type it all in again ?

No problem.  HCS typically uses VOSS for multi-customer CUCM management, and that tool accepts data in Excel format.  Just perform a BAT Export on your CUCM and Unity information and send it on, and the vendor can manipulate the data as needed without retyping.  I've done some HCS projects, and I depended on the Excel data and BAT for importing customer information.

  • Integrating with existing DB

    Hi,
I'm investigating Kodo, and how easy it would be to integrate with
existing tables (relational obviously). I didn't find reference to this
    in the documentation.
Specifically, I want some tables to have BLOB/CLOB columns, but I don't
want KODO to touch/manage/even think about them. Is this possible? Can
I have control over the field name/column name mapping, and the DB table
    name mappings?
I also have a requirement of having a composite primary key for just
about everything. (The first part of the key indicates the company
using the database, and provides extra protection against invalid access
of data in a multi-customer setup). I have read all sorts of nasty
things about having to map my keys to Strings and back again. Is this
going to be an issue/performance issue?
    Thanks
    Q

I have an existing application that I'm trying to switch from Poet to Kodo.
    class A {
         private int a;
    class B extends A {
         private int b;
    TABLE A (int A_OID, int a);
    TABLE B (int B_OID, int a, int b);
Object identifiers (IODs) are globally unique (actually intercorporate
    for us).
If one object of A and one object of B exist, then there will be one row
    in each table.
Is it possible to map Kodo like that? It appears that attribute a must
be stored in the table A.
    Thanks,
    Joe Batt
    Abe White wrote:
Kodo lets you completely control the mapping process if you want to. Given
that you have an existing schema, you might want to try our reverse
    mapping tool, discussed here:
    http://www.solarmetric.com/Software/Documentation/latest/docs/ref_guide_pc_reverse.html
That can give you a good starting point. If you already have your
classes, though, then see the metadata section for how to control how
those classes map to tables via metadata extensions:
    http://www.solarmetric.com/Software/Documentation/latest/docs/ref_guide_meta.html
The end of that chapter includes examples for mapping some classes to some
tables. If you don't want Kodo to touch some columns, then just don't map
    them to any fields.
As far as transferring values to/from strings, Kodo includes the built-in
StringificationMapping (see the "factory" and "externalizer" metadata
extensions), or you can manage that process yourself. Kodo handles
compound primary keys without any problems or performance penalties.

  • Driver prioritization - determine contradictory drivers

    Hello community.
we recently came across a nice demand of customer.
first, we entered the drivers. then coming to the prioritization, we made the process of per to per analysis and at the end, the system tells us that :
Warning: The driver comparisons have a low consistency ratio.
One or more driver comparisons are contradictory, which can lead to important projects being left out of your portfolio analyses. See an example below that shows driver comparisons with a low consistency ratio.
then, the customer want sto know where the contradiction is.
this is where I will need your help! Do you have any idea iditenfying what drivers priotization is contradictory?
I tried extrating the information in an excel but it doesn't help.

  • Cisco Prime Infrastructure multitenancy?

Hi can someone please give me an indication if Cisco Prime Infrastructure supports multitenancy? and if so how this is achieved?
I would like to monitor/managed multiple customers who may have overlapping private IP subnets
    Thanks

    Hi,
With CPI v2.0 there is a multi-customer license:
"L-PI2X-MSP-1 Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.x Multicustomer 1 Customer RTU"
What is this license intended for?
Is it safe to assume that CPI v2.0 also does not support multi tenancy?
Then there is CPI v2.0 for Service Providers.
"R-PI2X-SP-K9 Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.x Service Provider"
Is this version multi tenant capable?
What is the difference between the two?
    Thanks.

  • SRW2024 Vlan with PVE fonction

    Hi,
I have an installation with 6 swr224 switches connected to a srw2024 switch. Each srw224 is for one different company. We built trunk connexions with a different VLAN number for each company between the 6 srw224 and the srw2024. Further more each company is on a particular IPv4 subnet. There is a RV042 (internet gateway, one internet connection for the 6 companies), which accept multiple subnets connected on the srw2024 .
Is anyone know if it's possible to use the PVE fonction or another one on the srw2024 and how to parameter this fonction in order to permit access to the RV042 internet gateway to all companies but the companies must be totaly isolated one from the other
    Thank you for your help.

    Hello,
    A couple of thoughts.
If you do not want any of the customers to share resources / talk to each other then PVE might work.  PVE would restrict the port from talking to any other port except the uplink which is connected to the RV042.
I have not lab tested this, but it should be easy enough to do.  Go into each port that connects the switches and enable PVE and indicate which port is the uplink.
Normally PVE is not suggested for switch to switch communications when these ports are in trunking more.  PVE is an edge port feature.  In your case, you can configure each port as an access port and configure it for the different VLANs.  This would restrict each port from talking to each other.
I would assume that each customer has their own DHCP server?  If a single DHCP server is configured with a DHCP scope for each VLAN then this would be a shared resource ... meaning that all companies would need to have communications.  This poses a couple of problems.
    1) PVE could not work since all the different companies would to communicate with a single port that is not the RV042.  The RV042 is not VLAN aware and is not the best solution in this design.
Another option for keeping the VLANs separate, is to exclude different VLANs from each inter-switch trunk links; this is vlan filtering.  This assumes that you have trunk links between the switches and you can limit which VLANs can communicate over each trunk link.  This would solve your problem as well since you would not allow other customer VLANs on the trunk links to other customers.
If you are sharing resources, filtering vlans will still pose a problem for shared resources.  By using the RV042 and SRW switches, you have limited the options and features, as well as the expansion abilities of your design.
I might suggest for you to reconsider your design a little.  A few suggestions (many ways solve this ...)
    1) Use a 3560 series switch as the aggregation layer.  This opens a lot of flexibility and allow you to add features, security, services, shared services, etc ...
    2) W/ a 3560 switch you can use full private vlans.  This would allow you to segment your network as well as allow shared resources like email and DHCP servers.  These shared resources would be placed within a community vlan.  You can keep a single IP subnet across all private vlans.  Not sure how large your network is ...
Private vlans are local to that switch, and so the RV042 would not know anything about these private vlans ... which would be fine.
By putting in a 3560 you can also configure security, DHCP services, filtering, etc ... to all of the customers.  This would be a very nice solution.  If in L3 mode, the 3560 can point to the RV042 as the uplink (default route).
As you know the 3560 also has L3 features and so this can provide a lot of solutions for multi customer / multi-tenants enviroments.  I would at the very least look to installing a 3560 in the aggregation.
    3) You can use a Cisco 1800 series ISR as your router.  This router is vlan aware, has FW abilities, and can segment / route / provide DHCP / etc ... between all the 6 customers.
Using either an 1800 series ISR or a 3560 allows you a lot more flexibility, redundancy, ability to add additional services etc ... Can you or should you use both?  I would suggest evaluating this option.
I hope this was not confusing, however I would suggest to take a new look at the design and equipment being used.
Do please respond with any questions and or comments,

  • Which Cisco router for NTP service

    Hello,
I'm looking for deploying NTP service for multi-customer (in Datacenter).
So, I take a look at Cisco routers list and I saw that some router doesn't have hardware-clock / internal-clock ; for example 2600 series.
I'm looking for a "cheap" but good solution to provide NTP :
    - "Cheap" : that's why I take a look at routers, and not directly NTP appliance.
    - "Good" : something that can provide time to 300+ end-devices.
Cisco 800 series got hardware-clock, if I read good. But this is the cheapest router, so I don't feel confident.
    > What's the "best" router for NTP server ?
    > Please, could you share your experiences, opinions ?
    Thanks,
    Have a nice day.

Cisco 800 series apparently got internal clock, could it do the job correctly?
Rick and I have answered this question already.
Depends on the router, you can instruct the router to regularly update the hardware clock using the command "ntp update-calendar".
If you really insist on a router, an 800 router, then you can get all your device to sync to your router and your router gets sync somewhere in the internet.
Make sure you have the following commands:
    ntp server <NTP server>
    ntp update-calendar
Note:  You can have multiple NTP server IP addresses.  And the command above are hyperlinks.
Warning:  DO NOT be tempted to use the command "ntp master".

  • Scenario required for sd route and mm route

    Dear Guru
There is two process for stock transfer order one is SD route and 2nd one is mm route
can you please explain the differnce between these rout
and what is the scenario required for sd route and mm route
it means in which scenario we use sd route for stock transfer and in which scenario we use mm route for stock transfer
    Thanks in advance
    Kashyap

    Kashyup,
I am not aware of 'SD Route vs MM Route'.  They are the same Route.
STO is basically a special kind of Purchase order.  Purchase orders are part of the MM module. In order to permit shipping goods from one plant to another, SAP has 'borrowed' some of the functionality from the SD module.
During Configuration of Stock Transport orders, you assign a Customer (Shipto), Sales org, and Distribution channel to the receiving plant.  When creating a STO, the system uses these data to determine the Route.
Route contains info that the system uses to plan movement of goods from one location to another location in the SD module.  The route contains duration information (how long does it take to move goods from warehouse to customer location), factory calendar, and perhaps some other data.  In the case of an SD order, the system will find the customer for the Sales doc, the default shipping conditions for the customer, and using this information together with the region of the shipping point, will determine a route.
This same determination procedure is also used during creation of a STO.  The system will take the STO customer from STO configuration, and the default shipping conditions for that customer, and using this information together with the region of the shipping point, will determine a Route.  The same determination procedure used by SD sales orders.
When you are setting up your master data, and you have decided what the duration of transport time should be, it is important that your planned delivery time in your info records or in your material master be consistent with your shipping duration (pick/pack/route time).  This makes the execution (creation and shipment of STOs) stay consistent with planning (creation of STO purchase reqs) as far as timing is concerned.
If your STOs use Deliveries, then the shipping information in the STO that was determined during creation (customer, shipping point, route, etc) will be copied to the delivery during delivery creation.

  • Automatic confirm in STO_availability check

    Hi experts,
We create STO for some materials with different supplying plant and receiving plant. Scope of Check in all cases is maintained in the way that no stock/receipt/issue element is checked, so that full order quantity will be committed regardless of ATP situation.
However, in some STO for a certain combination of supplying & receiving plant, order qty is automatically committed fully. In other STOs of a different supplying plant & receiving plant, it's not confirmed automatically and we have to click Availability Check button to commit.
Do you know what setting leading to auto commit of the former case?
    Regards,
    Duc.

    Hi,
you can check for the checking rule and overdelivery tolerance maintained in customizing for sto in
IMG>MM>Purchasing>PO>Set up stock transport order-->assign delivery type and checking rule
    -->assign document type,one step procedure,delivery tolerance
    for your plants
