i dont know what is the need of anonymous login option in sender, reciever file adapter and the other thing is if i use check anonymous login there is no option for

    Hi,
when you configure your FTP server you can opt for anonymous login.
It means anyone can log on to this server just by using the IP address.
No user creation.. so ..No need for user id or pwd. i mean no authentication.
FTP connection parameters.. i.e. server n port will always be there if you are going for FTP.
It wont ask for these if you select NFS.
Being Anonymous only removes the user id n pswd option.
Anonymous login is "Never suggested"..Pretty insecure..
Dont forget to award SDN points Seeta.

  • Send/Recieve files via bluetooth failes

I have the same problem. Installing obexd-client solved the issue with gnome-bluetooth (bluetooth-sendto). Blueman still won't send files from computer to phone (it says "Remote device refused connection" after a while).

    Hello,

  • Disable "Send Data File" prompt

When I open the pdf created in LiveCycle Designer 7.1 and click on "Submit to Email" it prompts me for what type of email app I use. It then presents the "Send Data File" prompt. The options are "Send Data File" "Print Form" and "Cancel." It also has a "Don't show again" checkbox.
Is there a way to disable this prompt? For example after the user clicks on their email app it would simply open the email with the data file as an attachment.
I'm afraid that my people may click on "Print Form" instead of "Send Data File" or they might click "Cancel". I just want to ensure this is as easy as possible for them to complete.
Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the "Send Data File" prompt and automatically open an email and attach the data file?

    Amrit,
I apologize for taking so long to respond to your question. It took me a while to locate someone on the Acrobat Team who could answer my questions.
It's a good thing you asked about this because it turns out that this behaviour will no longer occur as of the next release of Acrobat. In the next release, if the call to submit a form's data via email comes from an Acrobat
Action, the "Choose your email application" dialog will always be displayed (unless the user has already clicked on the "don't show this again" check box which you can't control programmatically). If, however, the call to submit the form's data comes from JavaScript, the dialog won't be displayed. Instead, Acrobat will use the system's default email application (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) to do the submission.
Unfortunately, clicking on a button with the mouse or the keyboard (by setting focus to it and hitting the Enter key) as well as firing a button's Click event with execEvent("click"), as I had previously suggested, will all be considered Acrobat
Actions and will therefore possibly show the unwanted "Choose your email application" dialog.
In order to get around this, we need a solution which always uses JavaScript to do the submission. Fortunately, we can use the Acrobat Document object's
submitForm method to do this, thereby ensuring that the unwanted dialog doesn't show-up in future versions of Acrobat. The only potential problem with this solution is that it'll only work if the form is rendered to PDF. If the form is rendered to HTML (using
Adobe LiveCycle Forms, for example), this method will not work because Acrobat won't be involved in hosting the form.
The trick is to use the
event.target object in a regular button's Click event. This object is actually the Acrobat Document object. From there, you can use the
submitForm method as follows in order to achieve the same behaviour as that of Designer's email submit button (in JavaScript):
    var sEmailAddress = "[email protected]";
    var sSubject = "This is an email";
    event.target.submitForm
      cURL: "mailto:" + sEmailAddress + "?subject=" + sSubject,
      cSubmitAs: "XML",
I've attached a sample form which uses this JavaScript to submit its data via email. Give it a try to see how it works.

  • Cant see the "send file","recieve file" option in bluetooth in windows 8 panel.

    I have the following laptop
    Hp Pavilion 17-e054
I am running windows 8 in it. The problem is, I can see the Bluetooth option in the notification panel but it doesn't show me the send and recieve option in it. Everytime I have to send a file or recieve a file I have to go to RUN>fsquirt.
This opens the transfer wizard. But this is too annoying and I don't get it why i can't see the option. I have just purchased the laptop and its bluetooth driver is preinstalled.
This is the image of what I meant.
Any kind of help is appreciated.
And sorry if it feels like the problem is already solved because I tried looking at the forum, I  couldn't find an appropriate thread. Thanks.

  • Help required regarding sending jar files using bluetooth

I want to send jar file from Nokia 7610 (S60), or any other phone for that matter, to any other phone using bluetooth. The problem is that, when I look at the options available for the jar file (which is saved in the Inbox), the send option is not visible.
I looked at the previous postings on this topic. Is it due to "Closed Content List" (CCL)??? What are the possible workarounds, other than using getResourceAsStream or some software like FExplorer???
Also, this problem is not encountered in Sony Ericsson phones. Plz help regarding the same...

    Hi,
You might wanna look take a look in the JSR 82 Specifications. There is a method like agent.startInquiry(); that starts a search for nearby BT devices. All you have to do is place each found device in an array of type Vector.
It would have been easier if your code or a snippet of it was available to see what the problem was.
    Rambo.
PS: A client application application starts a connection on a server application. Where you put them is up to you.

I can not send or recieve files with ichat. A friend using AIM for a PC will send the file, and it will appear in the message box, i proceed to click on it to download it, but a message saying "waiting for friend to start" appears, however, my friend has already started the transfer. How do I receive files?

    Hi BluLiquidS12,
iChat can send files with a text of a Text chat or by dropping on the Buddy's name in the Buddy list.
The first of these tends to require a double click on the file name.
Dropping it on your name cause a Download Accept window to pop up.
In iChat this means the Buddy has to then confirm sending.
I am not sure the AIM end can do this.
They should check on the options they have to Send files as they also have various ways it can be sent.
You should also check that port 5190 on the UDP Protocol is open in your Mac Firewall if it is ON and your connection devices (modem and/or router).

I have used the "Share photos as embedded images" feature frequently, but today when I went to use it, it wasn't there, only the option to send email with files attached. How do I get back the ability to send emails with photos embedded. I like adding the frames and backgrounds and I think it's easier for recipients to look at the photos. I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage.  Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever.  After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed.  They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself.  After that, the pics go over imessage.  My own Iphone didn't have the problem.  We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.
