Regarding B1DE 2004

Hi,
Here I am having SAP Business One 2005 B & .Net 2005 installed on my system.
When I installed B1DE 2004 on my system i am unable to use the object SAPbouiCOM for applications which i have already executed.
I am getting the Errors as
Cannot load type library for reference "SAPbouiCOM". Error loading type library/DLL. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80029C4A (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY))
creating form UI The referenced component 'SAPbouiCOM' could not be found.
Is it possible to use B1DE 2004 with SAP B1 2005B.
What is the remedy for this.
Can anybody give me the solution.

Unless I am misunderstanding the problem you are having, you cannot mix the version of B1DE and the version of SAP Business One. In your post you state that you are using SAP Business One 2005 and VS.Net 2005 and B1DE for version 2004 of SAP Business One. You need to download the correct version of B1DE for the version of Business One and the version of VS that you are using from this link...

Regarding B1DE installation

Hi,
I have installed B1DE using the setup which i downloaded from this site (sdn) I am using SBO 2005A & i have downloaded B1DE 2005. It has been installed successfully & am able to see in the start menu also. But i am unable to see the same when i am creating new project in VB.NET.. My OS is Windows XP. When i did the same installation in a Windows 2003 server, i am able to see the 3 template wizards in the project type in VB.net.
Will i not be able to do it in Windows XP? Is there any solution for this?

i do not think this may be because of MS-Visual Studio .net 2003 because it supports 2003 and 2005 also...
i think it is of win-xp it self use win- 2003
u r problem will be sloved
or try installing only win-XP with any service pack 1 or 2 this may work

Regarding B1DE

Dear All,
After Installation of B1DE we can create our AddOn from VB.Net Project ,by cicking on new project we get(SAP B1 AddonInstaller .Net Wizard). But once we Unistall B1DE. We Cann't get that wizard and cannot create the addon.
What is the solution to get that wizard.

due to some virus problem i had to uninstall B1DE along VS2005 and some other packages.
it will be very helpfull, if anybody can throw some light in the matter in a detailed manner, so that my problem is solved.

B1DE Addon Wizard

Hi,
I am trying to create UDO form from B1 Addon wizard. I could create UDO forms for Document object.While running that Addon code, i can add, find objects in that form. After that i tried to change edit box to combo through Screen paiter.When i try to run the same form once again, it doent provide any functionality like add, find or add new line in that form.
How would I add combo box in UDO?I am using B1DE 2004.

Hi Nick,
i changed edit field to combo box, renamed that UDO xml form to srf file then changed its type. When i try to run that UDO form, it shows all the fields, but not standard UDO form functionality.How would i bind datasource to that UDO form field. i tried to bind with one field in that table. But it gives bad datasource error.

Upgrading 10.3.9 to Leopard on Dual 2.5 G5

Hi,
Currently use a Dual 2.5 GHz PowerPC G5 with OS 10.3.9
For the moment I have 1.5 GB Memory
24' Cinema HD Display
Samtron 94B Display
I use it essentialy with Final Cut Pro Studio HD, early edition which gives me Final Cut Pro v. 5.0.4
I also use Soundtrack Pro 1.0.3
Very occasionally (batch processing) Photoshop Pro 7
I do regularly use Microsoft Office 2004
2 Serial ATA drives (150GB, 250GB) plus external via FW800 other drives.
I intend to purchase some additional memory 4 GB (2*2)
For the moment I would like to continue with my current Final Cut Studio but intend to upgrade to Studio 2 in the next few months.
Questions:
a)Can I upgrade to Leopard, if yes to I have to expect any problems hardware wise.
b) Are my current softwares going to continue functioning or will I have to upgrade or change completely some of them. If yes which one. (I expect Photoshop to be the one)

Office 2004 has been working fine for me. Occasionally Excel will hang while quitting, but it doesn't affect any documents.
Photoshop 7 will not work under Leopard. As I recall, it fails to launch. You may want to strongly consider purchasing the upgrade to the latest version of Photoshop, as yours is the oldest version that's still upgradable. When CS4 is released (which will probably be later this year, based on historical release schedules), they may very well no longer allow upgrades from Photoshop 7, forcing you to repurchase the program for the full price.
Final Cut Pro 5.0.4 is also not compatible with Leopard. I don't know what the problems are, other than that Apple has explicitly said that only version 5.1 and above are supported on Leopard. I am currently running 5.1.4 on Leopard with no problems. Since the 5.1.x upgrade is no longer available, you will have to upgrade to Final Cut Studio 2, which you planned on doing anyway.

Also if your already a customer you may get it from the customer service market place.
You dont have to have access to the service market place in order to have access to the SDN forums.

I can only respond regarding Office 2004. So far, Entourage works great and I've had no problems. Same with Word. PowerPoint is a little slow, but it was on my PB too. I hardly ever use Excel, but, I am sent Excel files all day long and opening them and getting around them seems to have no issues.
In general, I think that Office will be better as a Universal App (whenever?) but it is "okay" now.

Hi Ganesh,
B1DE supports SDK 2004, 2005 and 2005 SP01 versions. You have to download the setup corresponding to your version.
If you are working in 2004B version it should not be a problem, you will have the standard SDK features provided by B1DE. Inside your addon will be included the DI and UI API references corresponding to your installation.
Please let me know if you find something strange, I haven't heard about any problem with 2004 B version.

Regarding MasterColumn is 2004s

In 2004s we are doing TreeByNestingTableColumn.......
for that we have downloaded the sample project form sdn..
in that they have used MasterColumn for this.
But we are unable to change icon for tree node displaying in table column..because there is no IconSource for MasterColumn(what i mean is icon for parent node and child node in a table column has to be different).
So can you please tell me how to change icon for tree node in TreeByNestingTableColumn in 2004s..
Is it possible............If Yes tell me the procedure.

Regarding SAP PSS Business package import into NW 2004s Portal

Hi All,
 I am trying to import the SAP PSS business package into the SAP NW 2004s portal. I initially tried the SAP PSS 3.0 package. I copied this downloaded business package zip file into the
Drive:/usr/SAP/trans/EPS/IN folder structure. I then went into the JSPM folder in the Drive:/usr/SAP/SAP SID/J2EE/JSPM folder to start the deployment of the business package.
I selected the new software component and No NWDI Control as there is no NWDI control. In the next screen, I selected the SAP PSS business package's version and hit continue to proceed to the next step.
But, I am getting stuck with an error "Error during validatiion of the dependencies of the selected Software components"
I checked the log file in the SDM folder and the log file has the following information:

I later downloaded the SAP PSS 2.0 to check and upload this content into the portal. But unfortunately, this also stopped at the same place with the same error.

I need help regarding installation of Netweaver 2004s

I need help regarding installation of Netweaver. When ever i am running setup.exe, i am getting a page asking for local host and port number as 21212. When I enter my local host name and the port number as 21200 i am getting the error message given below and the installation stops. I am not able to proceed further. can any one help me what i need to do here. I created MS lookupadapter and entered my static ip address in 'host' file after 127.0.0.1 localhost and i disabled port number 3201 in system file. I verified system variables also. Everything is fine. I dont have firewall or antivirus installed in my system. Is there any thing else i need to do. please help me. Thanks in advance.

Run the sapinst.exe with the port 21212.This port 21212 is the default port used during the installation of netweaver.

You can use B1DE package you can donwload for free from SDN. It will create an installer in Vb.NET but it is very easy to adapt the code to C#.

B1DE installer = signature problem

Sorry to bother you and I really did read dozens and dozens of entries in this forum about this already, but to no avail.
I've been running a vb6 created addon for a while (it even runs nicely in debug mode and in 2004 with new license key). Now I'm deploying it against an sbo2005 using the B1DE. The deployment now finally works, but I cannot get the addon running: wrong digital signiture according to sbo.
The .ard file is recreated several times, version of vb6 executable file is 1.4.0.0 as well as vb.net installer version created through b1de in VS2005 is 1.4.0.0. Ard file generator has as input in batch file version 1.4.0.0, in sari table entry in common-db is created with version 1.4.0.0. When I look at properties of .exe file of final installer in windows it reads version 1.4.0.0. indeed.
File addonslocalregistration.sbo looks fine as well.
So... why am I still getting problem with signature when I trying to run addon?
