Regarding BQY file

Hi ,
Can we Download a BQY file to XML file ? And use this XML file as source in anyother reporting tool like BO .
Is this feasible ? please let me know the details on this .

Regarding a file manager

Although the Lumia series has provided so many new features to smart phones but still there are some very small things that they forget to provide. Ii have so many concerns. My first concern is regarding a file manager app, there is no such app where we can get all the photos, videos, sounds, documents, app setups etc. at a single place.. We cannot even get the details of a photo in the album, apart from these no cut- paste option is provided, we cannot change the folders here which can be done very easily in android phones, so please provide a proper file managing app.
my second problem is about Bluetooth, in my Lumia 520, there is no option where I can receive multiple files by permitting just once, for every single transfer I have to tap the accept button, what kind of smart phone is this? Even cheaper phones have this feature..
Another problem is regarding the app setups in SD card, why do we need an internet connection to install an app if we already have the setup in SD card ? Why have you made such simple things so complicated?
Another problem I regarding the videos, I am using this phone for more than a year and still don't know how to transfer videos from pc to this phone, its a very complicated procedure, please help.. I believe there is someone sitting on the other side who will read my feedback and give a good response to it..

1. Attach the phone to the PC using USB
2. copy the video file using CTRL+C,
3. in windows explorer, find Videos folder on the phone
4. paste the file there (CTRL+V)

Hello everyone,
I have a IR report in workspace and i would like to export it. Can you please let me know how i can export this .bqy file or else any physical location where the .bqy file is getting saved.
I tried doing LCM but i dont know under which artifacts the .bqy file is present...

If you are looking to get the .bqy file then you could do by opening the BQY in web client and then do a save as which will allow you to save to desktop.

Maybe, I can explain you what I want:
When I create 5 tabels on 2 pages, each tabel will have their own row numbers. When I'm working on page 2 and on row 40 for ex, it is very difficult to see which is row 40 of 1st tabel on page 1.
When I put these 5 tabels in 1 big tabel, you won't have this problem, but than I can not name my tabels.
So, I thought maybe I can link for ex, all row 40 in all 5 tabels

How to deal with token Windows machines with regard to file sharing

We have an office of about 12 Macs, but we have couple of token Windows machines too.
Each Mac user has their own username and password for logging into there machine/server, administered by a Standard setup of Mac OS X Server (Server Preferences).
The question is what should I do with the Windows machines on the network with regard to file sharing and authentication? They don't need individual accounts; they could just have general accounts, but I don't know how to set them up with regard to the server.
Do I simply need to make sure that the username user to log into the Windows machine is a user on in Server Preferences?

Problem to publish bqy file

I have Hyperion Intelligence designer 8.5 and Hyperion Performance Suite 8.5.
A few days ago, I moved most of my bqy files from my C drive to D drive. (My C drive is full.) Today I was trying to publish one bqy file from my D drive, I got an error message “unexpected end of part”. I tried one of my bqy file still in C drive, then that file was able to publish. So I copied the bqy file I need to publish from D drive to C drive and published again. However, I got the message “unexpected end of part”. I sent this file from my D drive to the other programmer; he was able to publish the same file.
Is anybody can let me know what’s going on? I need to publish bqy files regular from my D drive.

So are you able to open these files via designer from your D and C drives?
try opening in designer ,save it again and then try publishing
I have not seen this before so just providing my thoughts.

Creating Dashboard against multiple bqy files

Does anyone know of a way to use multiple bqy files as data sources for a single dashboard?

Can you be a little more explicit?
1.) Do you want to display another BQY inside the "master" bqy? Are these BQY's on the Server (HPS9, Foundation, etc...)
2.) Do you want to use/share BQY Sections across documents?
Ans 1 - Embed a browser into the master BQY & call the smartcut for the second document.
Ans 2 - If using the Desktop client, all Objects/Sections are available (shared) amongst BQY's that are OPEN. Be careful, if the BQY is not open, then the Object you were using will not be available to the other BQY. Easy enough to script opening a set of BQY's

Regarding xml file sequence and sales order sequence not equal

 The XML File generates after sorting the line items, the sorting is done alphabetically on material master codes but the when the program converts the XML to Sales orders, the line item numbers does not matches with the line item of the XML File, like to understand how the XML conversion happens and is it possible to keep the same sequence of the XML file?

XI to proxy: issue regarding the file formatting

our scnario is proxy to file.
If the no data is coming from abap side then in file no new line should be created for that particular field.
exmple: our file structure is
Header----
Master1----
Master2----
Detail1----
detai2----
EarningHistory1----
EarningHistory2----
Trailer----
Now if Abap side does not sent any data corresponding earning history. Then our file structure sholud be
Header----
Master1----
Master2----
Detail1----
detai2----
Trailer----
no new line is created for Earning History.
but now our file structure is
Header----
Master1----
Master2----
Detail1----
detai2----
Trailer----
This is problem.
How do i resolve this????

Little help please regarding deleting files and folders...

My wife has a MBP and has accumulated some old items in her documents folder that she'd like to delete. She has a USB mouse but the "right click" doesn't appear to work. She's running 10.4.11 and can't reveal the files in icon mode to facilitate dragging to trash. Certainly there is a sequence of keystroke commands that will allow these files to be effectively trashed, but our "control/delete", or "apple/delete", or "option/delete" doesn't do the trick after highlighting the subject file. Help please! TIA!

To delete a file or folder, high light it then using the keyboard type Command Delete and that will delete it. If you have multiple files and/or folders the same keyboard commands apply.
