Regarding BW queue maintainence?

Hi,
We can see the BW queue in RSA7 and then can schedule the IP related to the Datasource showing the deltas .In BW queue maintainance(R/3 system) we can see  two types of Datasources
1)Start with 2LIS_*
2)0FI*
For the first one we have entries in LBWE from which we can schedule the corresponding job to push data into BW delta queue(RSA&)
How can we proceed for the same for second option?

HI,
Even after going thru help am not clear how to create delta for the DS like 0FI_AP_3 etc...We can schedule the related job for the DS 2LIS_02_SCL adn once it finishes the result is reflected in RSA7 but I am in R/3 side and I want to create delta for this DS()fi,Ocust).I have been trying using RSA5 to select delta still its not creating one for this. How can I creat one which will be reflected as the new LUW's in RSA7 and which can be used to get daat in Bw sys.

Either I did not get an idea, but in your JMS proxy you are routing to File :)
If you don't want file, why route to 2nd BS ?

  • We need to open the connection each time you read a message from the queue?

    Hi
I have a doubt regarding my queue read data that contains those I create a session and connection.
Whenever I do this or you can create a connection and get all data from the queue and then close the connection and session
eg. I have 1000 files in the queue and I read all files but without creating a session and a connection every time you get a single figure, this can be done?
I read the 1000 files without having close the session or the connection
    thanks for the help.

    I answered myself.
No need to open a connection and a session each to be read from a data queue to extract the entire contents of the queue with only one session and open a single connection.

  • Remote queue in XI server for IBM MQSeries

    Dear All,
my scenario is IBM MQSeries -> message via sender JMS adapter -> XI -> receiver RFC adapter -> R/3.
now for IBM MQSeries to send a message to XI via a transmission queue in MQSeries - it needs a remote queue name and  queue  manager name in XI server.
So now where can i find these information regarding remote queue name and  queue  manager name in XI server. I currently do not know whether in XI server, currently is there any remote queue or not? So how to find this information. If we do not have remote queue manager in XI currently, then how to install a remote queue name and  queue  manager in XI server.
It is slightly urgent. So i request you all to please reply quickly.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rajeev Gupta

    Dear Sebastin,
    Thanks for your inputs.
I have to connect to MQSeries 5.2.1 to XI server.
am getting the below error in Communicatin Channel Monitoring for my sender JMS adapter:
Error during channel initialization; exception trace: javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS2005: failed to create MQQueueManager for '<IP_ADRESS>:<MQ_QUEUE_MANAGER>'

    at com.ibm.mq.MQClientManagedConnectionFactoryJ11._createManagedConnection(MQClientManagedConnectionFactoryJ11.java:228)
i have written '<IP_ADRESS>:<MQ_QUEUE_MANAGER>' just to hide the data - i am getting <IP_ADRESS> as IP Adress i gave in JMS adapter and <MQ_QUEUE_MANAGER> as Queue Manager i gave in JMS adapter.
i am using the correct IP and 1414 port of MQSeries server. I have used a MQQueueManager defined in MQSeries. i have deployed JMS adapter properly in XI server.
So can anybody suggest what could be the possible reason of this error and how to rectify it. It is slightly urgent.
One more question - should the queue manager in MQSeries server be a local or remote queue manager..........i was not able to create a remote queue manager in MQSeries 5.2.1 as by default it is creating a local queue manager.......
    Thanks and Regards,

  • File -- MQ scenario; Define EOIO queue.

    All,
I have several file2MQ interfaces, all have EOIO (Exactly Once In Order) as "Quality of Service" and therefore must have a "Queue Name". Obviously, EOIO queue should not be shared by more then one communication channel (in order to minimize the risk/penalty in case a message is being stuck in queue). my question:
I have 20 scenarios (20 EOIO senders), should i use queues XBTOM___0001 - XBTOM___0020 (does this queue actualy exists)?
should i refer other technical issues?
    Regards
    Uri

    Hi,
Queue name will be only XBT or other queue, but the sequence like different queue from 001 to 020 will come dynamically(depends on load) and is defined by system.
For more details check this useful blog on queue.

  • HTTP Queue for EOIO

    Hi All:
Few days back I raise a request (forum) regarding HTTP queue creation  for QoS = EOIO. I spent much time on SDN just to find any hint how to create a Queue from HTTP url(Sender).
    Error I was getting <b>"INTERNAL.ATTRIBUTE_INITIAL" for "QUEUE_NAME".</b>
At last I come to know that it was a bugg in XI and due to which queue was not created. Please
refer a SAP Note: 1073448(it is created just 4 days back) - Plain HTTP adapter: Queue ID is not accepted.
This is just to share little information from my side.

  • Queues in READY State

    Dear Friends,
This is regarding the queues in DOE being in READY state for a long time.
When we trigger delta download, we see some queues in READY state for a long time ( > 2 minutes ).
    Example :
    DOEBWA_00G_007_0_13FL.
We have executed the transaction sdoe_activate_q in the middleware for all the queue name ( sdoe* , mmw* , et al).
    Are we missing something?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Suresh BJ

I don't know about this report, but the place to check for your problem is the transaction SMQR.
    1. If the queues are clearing up after some time, then its not a problem of registration. So you should see your corresponding queue patterns 'R'egistered here.
    2. Look at the 'Scheduler Status'. Is it 'Waiting'? If yes, then it means your scheduler (the guy who distributes queue entries to dialog work processes for processing) is waiting for a work process to get free. => Then the problem is with having too few dialog work processes.

  • Work Manager and the Invocation Service - Items Queued?

    Hi,
After reading the user guide & javadocs and searching this forum, I can't find documentation on how an Invocation Service works behind the scenes. I'm implementing a WorkManager (which sits atop an incovation service) with the goal of using some nodes in my Coherence cluster as essentially a distributed thread pool for parallel execution of work.
    I want to know:
    a) How work items are queued when all threads dedicated to the WorkManager are in use. I assume a cache is spawned to handle this, but if a queue is used, how do I configure the depth?
    b) Can thread count be throttled dynamically? The post linked below seems to have tried it, but is there no cleaner way since the service is configured prior to startup? Maybe this has changed since 3.4.
How Can a Service's Configuration Be Modified Dynamically
    Thanks

To answer Luk's question - yes the change in thread count took affect without me having to restart the service. I have only changed cache service thread counts via JMX but I assume invocation services would be the same.
    Roberto,
Regarding the queue size - I suspect this is limited by the amount of heap your process has. Presumably Coherence uses some sort of queue structure internally to hold the requests and this is likely only limited by memory - or maybe number of entries if it uses an int for its size.
I am sure if you try hard enough you could blow the queue size if you could somehow push a sufficiently large number of slow running tasks into the server and even eaiser if your invocables contained a lot of data themselves so they took up more heap.
It would be very simple to write a test the just fires in invocables at a fast enough rate and see what happens.

  • Why the queue is locked in SMQ2?

Sometimes,I find the queue would be locked in SMQ2 ,so i have to release the locked queue so that it can keep on working normally.
I'd like to know what reason can cause the queue locked ?Once the queue is locked, how to get the notificaion?
    thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    brand

    Hi
queues are locked when the load to the processor is hight..and the second task is in queue while first one is processing at that time..secodn process will be locked after some time..extent
    1)  clear the queues in SMQ2,first try to activate them,if that doesn't work them delete them
2)You may need to re-register your queues.
Follow SXMB_ADM -> Manage Queues -> Deregister Queues
Afterwards, re-register the queues and activate from the same screen
3)Only use SMQ1 (outbound queues) and SMQ2 (inbound queues) if re-registering doesn't fix it. You will need to give the queues sometime to get activated so be patient.
4)From SXMB_MONI go to Queue ID of the message, a click here shall take you to qRFC monitor.
if the messages are stuck, you should see an entry indicating number of messages stuck in the queue.
a double click on the entry shall take you to detailed list.
if the messages are stuck because of any error (other than queue not registered etc for e.g. a message failure) then the first message shall show you that.
if indeed you find a message stuck in the queue then the way is to delete the stuck message (DONT DO THIS IN PRODUCTION SERVER without being sure of what does this mean for that particular process !!) and unlock the queue from previous screen.
5)Go to smq2 and execute F8. Then it should come as Nothing was Selected.
If any queues are present then open a queue.if the status is SYS ERROR check the entries, right click on the status text and give save LUW.This brings queue to READY. .
GoTo-> Qin Scheduler: check for the scheduler status to be inactive->Edit-> Activate Scheduler: status frm inactive to starting to wait. Now the queue will be RUNNING.U can see the entries in the queue moving.
Now go to SMQ3, right click on the queue and give Restore LUW.
6)this basically means tht message is waiting in the queue.
in sxmb_moni go to queue Id column and double click on the entry .It will take u to SMQ2.Check the status of the queue
If its SYSFAIL or STOP then double click on it and try to correct the error. After correcting the error send the message again. Also check whether the Queeu is Registred in transaction SMQR.
7)Select your queue form the sxmb_moni, you will reacht he QRFC monitor.
Here you will see some lock figures on the , Select on the 'Unlock Queues'. Activate your queues once again.
This is if your data is correct and queue is stuck. You should only delete the queue if it has errored out due to incorrect data and you need to urgenetly process the rest of the data in the queue.
If you drill down one step more than selct the error message and on the menu select edit-->Save LUW.

  • WiSM error message : Message: CPU Receive Multicast Queue is full on Controller

    Hi,
I heve several WiSM modules, the version is 7.0.220.0. Each of WiSM receive the following error message : CPU Receive Multicast Queue is full on Controller. I searched the bug toolkit, some old version of WLC hit this bug, but not affect our version.. Please help to mention me how to debug this error.
    Best Regards,

    Multicast Queue Depth
The multicast queue depth is 512 packets on all controller platforms. However, the following message might appear on 2106 controllers: “Rx Multicast Queue is full on Controller.” This message does not appear on 4400 series controllers because the 4400 NPU filters ARP packets while all forwarding (multicast or otherwise) and multicast replication are done in the software on the 2106.
This message appears when too many multicast messages are sent to the CPU. In controller software releases prior to 5.1, multicast, CDP, and ARP packets share the same queue. However, in software releases 5.1 and later, these packets are separated into different queues. There are currently no controller commands that can be entered to determine if the multicast receive queue is full. When the queue is full, some packets are randomly discarded.
Do you have a lot of clients using multicast ?

  • UCCE 9.x - Queue Priority in scripts

    Hi all,
I have a question regarding the Queue Priority in scripts. We have a request from a customer that they want to use this. After some testing, I found out this is working like a baby, so no worries on that.
My real question is, that I've heard something about a "starve to death" scenario's and that Cisco has some way of working around that. Does anyone know about this, or at least heard something about this?
If so, can someone explain how this works and to some extend how I can verify this?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Mark.

    Hi Chintan,
    thanks for your response.
So, the question is as follows:
If I have 2 customers, all go to 1 agent. Say Cust1 and Cust2. Cust1 has a higher priority than Cust2 and is thus handled more quickly because of that (set via the QueueToSkillGoup Priority).
So, Cust2 calls in, but we have loads of Cust1 calls. That would mean that Cust2 calls would not be answered, due to the priority.
Is there a mecanism that will prevent that call (for Cust2), to die off in the system (max nodes). So that after x time, after x calls, or any other trigger, despite the priority for Cust1, a call of Cust2 will be offered?
    Hope this explains.

If the formating above is ok you could see that run queue is 43 - 50 on these 5 samples. This is on a 16 CPU(grid control info) HP-UX Itanium server.
If I look in Grid control I get the following info:

    Why the big difference?
Also I've tried to run vmstat several times and it always show 25+ in Run Queue
I think we have problems with CPU resources(and then again performence in databases) and trying to document it.

    Best regards,
NikolayYes the environment works fine most of the time.
Anyone have an answer to my question:
Why does Oracle Grid control report differently then vmstat regarding Run Queue?
    Regards
933746I'm not running grid control or collecting cpu metrics with dbconsole, but I've seen enough stupidity with dbconsole on Itanium I don't have a problem with saying, If there is a difference between what grid and the OS tools reports, believe the OS tools.
You should open an SR, though you'll probably get some idiot who tries it on linux and says it works fine. It could be as dumb as grid thinking you only have one db on the host.
On the other hand, people like [url http://www.nyoug.org/Presentations/2002/oraperf_bw.PDF]Gaja give a formula for the run queue that it shouldn't be more than 2*number of cpu's, which could be how the grid is calculating whether the warning threshold is exceeded (does the context sensitive grid help say anything about how it is calculated?). But I think the others comments are perhaps more appropriate in this day and age. See this interesting observation: http://hoopercharles.wordpress.com/2010/02/05/faulty-quotes-6-cpu-utilization/

  • Setup problem with Canon ir C3380i

I have a Canon ir C3380i. I've installed the v2.1 drivers for UFRII on a Macbook with os x 10.5.2 installed. I am connecting wirelessly to the printer.
I can install the drivers, the printer appears to be recognized (I see the finishing options), but when I print, the printer prints a message that reads:
    error courred = 50
I've browsed through the forums, but have not been able to locate anything that helps. I did see some comments regarding the Queue URL, but am not sure what the exact URL should be for this particular model printer. Any assistance would be appreciated.

While it may not directly affect the issue with the printer model or brand you note here,
several items do see significant update in the OS X 10.5 Leopard system when the
Combo update OS X 10.5.8 file is downloaded and installed; as other newer items are
only then available to this system step which would not be available or work beforehand.
This is a significant update, as other important system items such as they appear in order
would be available upon installation of this Combo 10.5.8 download; the newer security
update, java version updates, later browser support, quicktime and other items the system
or browsers use indirectly to support their function; and better improved function of the OS
to handle most of the missions the computer can do.
Some peripheral driver options may prefer the last update to Leopard 10.5; others may
require it before they'd be able to work. There had been a Canon driver download file
for Leopard a few years ago, which covered (at the time) many additional drivers; and
in some OS X install discs, optional drivers were included.
Not sure if all of this would help the Canon printer recognition issues & driver situation
you are facing with the MacBook and the stated OS X level of Leopard at 10.5.2.
Hopefully the resolution isn't too arduous...
    Good luck & happy computing!
