this is just one video, but i've seen others where they use quadro and gtx together. he runs davinci resolve in video, but not premiere. there is an icon for premiere in the taskbar, so they probably do use it. with nvidia, its possible to go into the control panel and assign only one of the video cards to be used for cuda processing. if just need 10bit out, there are dedicated cards that are designed specifically for display only and shouldn't conflict with a gtx and premiere. some of these display out cards are cheaper than an old cheap quadro or firepro too. ADK has several different kinds, so they should be able to set it up.

Page Setup, including page orientation, is done in the File menu. The setting applies to the whole document. As Peter says, you can rotate the contents of a page (not including the text layer of a word processing document).
As an alternative, you could use Numbers, where Sheets are empty canvases onto which you may place images, charts, tables and text boxes, and where page orientation may be set for individual Sheets. The main tradeoff is that you lose many of the built-in word processing and page layout features of Pages.

I had a similar problem, and i found that the photo was of very low resoluton. As a test I resized the image to a lrager resolution using photoshop CS4 and re saved it as JPG. I imported the new saved image and it seem to have fixed the problem.

We usually advice first to Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache in case of such problem and then do a check for extensions to see if any are causing the problem.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.

Another way to do it is to scroll from the most recent message to the top of the screen and tap load more messages, repeatedly till you reach the one you want.
I like your method better, but with both methods it refreshes to the most recent message.

My netflix account used to work, but now it does not. Only the "my account" page is accessible and not the main page. Major problem. Please help. I'd rather run an older version than one that doesn't work.

I believe I was running a 6.3.as.df,msad.f,masdf version of Firefox and my Netflix account was working wonderfully well. I happened to hit the quit button last time, instead of the save and quit button and for some reason, Netflix did not load properly. I cleared the day's history, as usual, and tried again. This usually works. I closed Firefox and tried to reopen it, but it said Firefox was already running, that I would have to restart my computer to solve the issue. I did that twice. Finally, I noticed Firefox was trying to download a new version -- even though I don't recall asking it to do so. Now I'm running 7.0 and my Netflix page doesn't work. I am logged in - great - but I can only access "My Account and Help" page and "Viewing History" but nothing else. Lame! I would love to know how to get this to work. I can't even pull up Netflix's main page on its own. All other websites seem to be working properly. PLEASE ASSIST!

If this were just a Netflix problem, why can I access Netflix through Internet Explorer and not through Firefox? I've been using Firefox to access Netflix for at least the past year and starting yesterday (12/6/11) Firefox doesn't seem to recognize that Netflix exists. I've tried the suggested Firefox "help" which was of no help whatsoever and may even have made life more difficult in accessing other accounts. Anyone know how to contact Netflix or Firefox by phone?

Is there a way to download only the HD version of a movie and not the SD version?

In order to save space and to not exceed my service provider's data limit, I'd like to know if there is a way to download only the HD version without having to download the SD version as well? Currently, I have to open the "Download" box and highlight all of the SD downloads and delete and remove them. Of course, it begins to download them the next time I open up iTunes (and yes, I have turned off and on the auto-download feature).

I did get an answer to this question from the rep at my local Verizon store. I just wanted to provide the answer in case someone else has the same question.
While in the email you wish to reply to, press the white envelope shape on the upper right corner of the screen. This will open up as the reply to the sender. If you press the word "reply" in the upper left had corner (of this window) a drop down box will appear with more options. Reply, reply all and forward. Hope that helps.

Why does ff4 open to the last webpage visited before closing and not the home page?

The Option/General/Startup Tab, "When Firefox starts" option is set for "Show my homepage" but it doesn't. Instead it opens as if "Show my windows and tabs from last time" option at been chosen.

HT1758 Power failure in the middle of a software update and not the computer will not boot up. The computer just has a white screen with a grey apple and just loads non stop.

My iMac will not boot up after a software update. the screen is all whute will show a grey apple in the middle and will look like it is working but nothing happens; this can go on forever.

Do you have a backup in the form of a bootable clone or Time Machine? Restore that and then try the update again.

Another option might be to download the standalone from Apple Downloads on another Mac and try installing it in Firewire Target Disk Mode to the Mac that was interrupted during the update.

Photoshop cs6, how to apply an effect to just the layer you are working on, and not the ones underneath please

I was shown how to do the above earlier this year but cannot find my written reference to it, nor can i find the answer on adobe help site. can someone answer this for me. I know it a couple of quick keys, but don't know which ones, and something to do with where you click within the layer box (then drag). look forward to the answer!

Yeah, there are few type of effects from adjustment layers that csuebele mentioned to layer styles. The styles can be applied to each layer by double clicking on the layer to bring up the editor. Since you mentioned dragging, I would assume copying or moving to a different layer. Drag the head style name between layers to move them and hold down the alt or opt key while dragging to make a copy.
If you convert the layer to a smart object, then each layer that has been converted can also have editable filters as well.

Did you try a complete restore of the device in iTunes? Perhaps tried a different set of headphones before doing that? Does this only happen with particular songs or all of them?

I am facing an issue.
Issue: The assignment field in accounting document generated during GR is updated with the TM PO number(Trade PO) and not the Material PO .
this happens while Posting goods receipt in VL32N tcode.
Please let me know what can be the issue.

Everytime we create a TM PO , the error occurs in account assignment the first time you do the Good issue.
If you reverse the document and repost the Good Issue it works the correct way

How do I determine if the memory problems are with my imac and not the RAM?

I've heard of some vague problems with intel imacs and their memory slots. I'm about to replace (for the 3rd time) RAM, and think I need to test further to see if the problem is with my imac and not the RAM. Right now I put back in the original 2-512 sticks that came with the imac, and the rember test is only showing 594mb (odd amt!) testing OK. But, in "about my mac" it will show as 1gb.
Problems I've had with each set of RAM: occasional KP's, excessive spinning beachballs, sudden closing of apps (esp. if I have several apps running), won't fax usually (will hear a fax tone instead of a dial tone at the onset), disappearing documents section under my username.
I bought this imac refurbed thru the apple store last fall: 2.16 C2D 20" imac
Any ideas before I have to separate myself from my imac to send it in??

The pin strips on the new modules maybe a little thicker than your original modules, and it's going to take more force to seat them properly. If the new Memory Specifications are correct I would try them again. Slide them in untill they stop, then push real hard untill you feel them seat into place.
I've never seen a report about an odd amount of ram shown. If reinstalling the ram modules does not solve your issue, and may be a indication that there is something wrong with one of the slots.
