Regarding Change History Maintenance in Portal

Hi Experts,
I am working in SAP Netweaver Portal for the past few months. My Question is, Is there any method or any SAP Supported Third Party tool to find the Change History of iViews and User data in SAP Netweaver Portal. I searched in net and found about sweetlets but I am not very clear about its usage. Can someone give your valuable inputs and guide me regarding this.

Changes history of characteristics changes in Sales Order

Dear all ,
I have question regarding changes history. If I enter Sales Order using configurable material, and have entered all the characteristics value. Subsequently I go back to the same sales order and change some of the characteristics value, where do I can see the changes history of the characteristic values that I have changed? I go to display the changes history of sales order or go to see in CDHDR or CDPOS tables, but I can not find the changes history of characteristic values there. Kindly advice

Try Table J_1IMOCUST with Field name as AEDAT for Changed on & USNAM for Changed by the User.

Report for Sales Order Change History CDPOS and CDHDR

How to take a report of the data for the Sales Order Change history for a particular period of time. It is required to take a report of all the Sales Orders for which the basic price has been changed. Please let me know the procedure. I could not get the data from the table CDPOS and CDHDR

Have you tried with VBAP where sale order details at item level would be stored.
Moreover, to my knowledge, there won't be any changes as for as pricing is concerned at sale order level but there is at billing level. Normally, any price increase / decrease would reflect in billing. So why dont you to table join through SQVI VBAP (for sale order details) and VBRP (for billing details) so that you can compare the selling price in sale order with billing.

If the records are many, the discovery may be more than a minute.
2. Is There a report for the purification of the " Сhange history" over a period?

Hello Dilip,
One more alternative would be to increase the time out parameter in ABAP environment.
The steps to change this parameter:
1) txn: RZ11 -> enter the variable name rdisp/max_wprun_time
2) Display -> Change value -> Then input the value you would like        (ideally 3600)
PS:
1) Don't set this value too big, otherwise general performance will be
influenced, since lots of dialogue process will be occupied for a long
time
2) This parameter can be changed dynamically
Once the parameter is set please test again. You can try incremental
values and test which one does not give timeout error.

SAP CRM 7.0 WebUI: change history is not working

Hi specialists
Our change history is working - but only in SAPGUI.
I found no way to activate / customize it for the WebUI. The corresponding Assignment Block is simply blank.
On the other hand - in the SAPGUI its working like it is mentioned to do.
But it is getting better:
On our test system its working even in the WebUI.
On our prod. system not.
Does somebody of you have any advices/hints for me?

We are facing same problem for change history on webIC except that all changes to
business partner are visible only changes to contract account are not coming in change history.
for e.g if we changed incoming payment method using tcode CAA2 on ISU change is replicating
on CRM but change history is not showing changes made to incoming payment method.

How to display the change history of Z-fields in transaction BP?

Hi,
we have created an append structure to table ADRC. For all fields of the structure the flag "Change document" in the data element is set. This is still working because the changes are in the table CDPOS.
But when I choose "Extras => Change history => For this field" in transaction BP the changes will not be displayed.
Any hints?

Hi Jaya,
Just do as follows :-
1) Find out in which table are those fields.
2) Then if you find them go to the table, look for the field you want the log to be created for.
3) Double click on its DATA element. On the DEFINITION tab of the data element, there is a checkbox named as CHANG
DOCUMENT. Just TICK it.
4) So every time there a change on this field from the transaction, you can look for the log in table CDHDR.

Update the change history for line items in CDHDR/CDPOS

Hi,
I have a problem in updating the sales order and line items in CDHDR/CDPOS when there is change in header level custom field..
Actually i have a custom field in VBAK which added in additional data A in the header level of sales order.When we have change in that field only some line items only updating in the change history tables(CDHDR/CDPOS),but we need to capture all the line items when the custom field in the header level is changed.
i have added change document flag in the data element of the custom field.
Please advice me how to get all the line items will reflect in CDHDR/CDPOS when the header level custom field has change .

The purpose of CHANGE DOCUMENT tables is to flag the changes with Old and New values. So when Header data is changed only Header details will be tracked and same for Item tables too.
If you need anything addtional from this then that would customizing.
I am not sure what is your requirement but to make it simple and achive requirement add same field with same setting to line item tables VBAP, VBKD.. (as required, if that's doesnt impact your Order. These fields no need to be on screen). While changing your Custom field of Header level change the item level field too. Then CHANGE DOCUMENT will generate automatically for all the line item including header.

Hello Pradeep,
For sure you will not find the last changed date, owner, last change time in BEx for a particular formula or a BEx component. So do not invest time in looking at BEx.
You were on the right direction by looking at the reporting components tables .
I believe that in the below table (RSZCOMPDIR - Directory of reporting components) you will be able to find last changed date, owner, last change time . Kindly click on the image below to get a better view.

1.When this param (1028) is inserted ?
2.Any change made on this Param 1028 ?
3.If any change happened on this param 1028, Who made the change and when its changed(date and time)?
we didn't find these info with this table GRACCONFIGSET

Facing problem with Change History Update

I have created a Attribute_table for BP, using EEWB. Everything is working fine.
However, whenever we do any changes, the change history is not getting updated. Could you please let me know if we need to make any special settings for this.

Try setting the check box for Change document at data element level.
Data element -> Further characteristics -> select Change document check box.

Is it possible through standard config to record changes against BP Marketing Attributes in CRM 2007 or 7.0?
I know it can be done with custom code but was hoping SAP had delivered this via config now.
