I want to see the co-pa releated cubes in Business Content .Can any one tell me what are the co-pa releated cubes and data sourcer present in ECC6.0 .
plz dont give me the url just you give the PREDEFINED CUBE NAMES AND DATA SOURCES .

Can someone please answer the following questions.

1. How do I check whether someone is re-bilding aggregates on a cube?
If your aggregate status is in red and you are filling up the aggregate - it is an initial fill of the aggregate and filling up would mean loading the data from the cube into the aggregate in full.
2. Does rebuilding an aggregate refer to the rollup process? Can it take a few hours?
Rebuilding of an aggregate is to reload the data into the aggregate from the cube once again.
3. What does it mean when someone switches off an aggregate, basically what is the difference (conceptually/time consumption)between:
A. activating an aggregate?
this would mean recreating the data structures for the aggregate - this would mean dropping the data and reloading the data.
B. switching off/on an aggregate?
Switching off an aggregate means that it will not be used by the OLAp processor but would mean that the aggregate still gets rolled up. Rollup referring to loading changed data from the cube into the aggregate - this is done based n the requests that have not yet been rolled up into the cube.
C. rebuilding an aggregate?

3. When a user complains that a query is running slow, do we build an aggregate based on the chars in rows & free chars in that query OR is there anything else we need to include?
Run the query in RSRT and do an SQl view of the query and check the characteristics that are used in the query and then include the same into your aggregate.
4. Does database statistics in the 'MANAGE' tab of a cube only show statistics or does it do anything to improve the load/query performance on the cube?
Stats being updated will improve the execution plans on the database. Making sure that stats are up to date would lead to better execution plans and hence possibly better performance but it cannot eb taken for granted that refreshing stats is going to improve query performance.

Doubt regarding report on cube

Hi Experts
I am facing a problem in Report . Actually when ever i try to run my query i get fiscal year embedded with its variant for eg fiscal year is 10 and its variant is x
output i get is x\10 but what actully want is 10. i am not getting what went wrong or what can the solution to rectify the error please help

Hi puneet,
You have this situation for all Compound Characteristics. You can check it via Tcode RSD1 --> Tab Compound (last tab of the Master Data).
You can avoid this solution only introducing in drill down also compound char.
If you necessarly want only single Char value you may need to introduce a ZInofoObject where you store only desired value, but you can have inconsistency due to compound value.
COMPOUND: when a char by itself it is not sufficient for determine value: for example Cost Center has Compound Controlling Area, because the Cost Center 1000 can be under different Controlling Area with different maenings.

Best practice for building OLAP cubes??

Hi All,
I have to build about 10 cubes as minimum for 50 GB database that share some dimensions, these cubes for 6 business areas.
I want to know whether to build all cubes on one analytical workspace or what??

If the cubes are going to share dimensions, then yes I would recommend putting them all in the same analytic workspace.

Value gets doubled in the cube when doing a data mart

Hi,
I am doing a data mart from one cube to another cube for different consolidation units and the value gets doubled for all the consolidation units except for one consolidation unit.there are no duplicate results in the cube.
Can anyone tell me how i can debug this issue or what could be the reasons,This is very urgent.

In the Cube that is being loaded try seeing its content. While seeing its content give the restriction on the Request ID as that of the request which loaded the Cube.
If you find the consolidation unit values doubled there, try seeing your update rule and transfer rule if the value is being changed anywhere.
Then check the PSA.

u can go with the below data source and flow is as below.

the table is which u are mentioned is correct KNC1one only.

Query error

Hello gurus,
                    I am stuck with an issue. I can see the fields in the cube but i can't see the values in queries
when i give multiple selection . But when i give single selection i get the value.Can any1 suggest me a remedy.

           In cube level the values are there...I will elabroate the issue...The variable is for field vendor legacy
.If i give single value for it i can find values for city name , address line 1 and state code and if i give multiple selection as
a range even for the records which have city,address line and state code gives blank.
      Properties of variable is selection- option .
Any other way to get the solution

SAP Strategy Management stop loading on 96%

Hi,
we are facing the following problem.
System Information:

SAP Strategy Management 10.1
SAP Netweaver
SAP MaxDB
We did the following steps:
===================
We used PAS cube builder to build a new PAS cube with one measure only. the PAS cube been created successfully.
We then go to the SAP Strategy Administrator and tested the two associated model connections (CBSSM_SC & CBSSM_MM) and can connect.
we set up this model under Entry and approval tab in the administrator screen and defined this measure for data entry.
We used Data Entry and approval link to enter the data manually for the only KPI stored in this cube after defining the measure set.
we then successfully loaded the data into the model.
After that we scheduled a task to re-aggregate score cards data and it is completed successfully.
We defined on KPI in the administrator screen and associated it with the created KPI (measure) in the already created model (cube).
I already assigned SSM tasks to SSM roles from SAP net weaver administration screen.
When we ope the main SAP Strategy Management interface link it loads and stop at 96%
When we changed the model connection back to the default one "MODCONN" which is based on "Juice" model the main SAP strategy screen successfully complete at 100% and we can navigate to score card table but there is no data to be displayed. Only context hierarchy with the created KPI and no values or data.
Can any one hep ...!?

Hi every one...
The problem was fixed by using a PAS cube with a defined dimension. There was many issues in SAP strategy Management 10.1 SP0 corrected in SP 1,2 & 3 regarding using a cube with no dimension. Also you may sometime need to close your browser and log in again.

Urgent::Compression Job taking long time???

Can anybody know regarding compression of cube that how much time it should take for around 15,000 records in cube.
For Us ,it is taking around 3-4 hrs?
How can we finish it early????
We have around 1900 request in Cube .And each request having around 10,000 records.
So if we go likewise ,than it will be very time consuming ,decrease performance of other loads and very boring???

2. please check st04 ->detail analysis menu -> oracle session ..check is there any locked memory thr.

3. please check any back up is going on in db12 (if u r authorized)
Ans-No Back up is running
4. check table spaces in DB02

This cube can be delta enabled. You can set up an LO delta extraction. More specifically What are your doubts??

Problem in BCM Reports

Dear Experts,
We are facing a problem while accessing the Standard BCM reports. The problem is that in every selection screen only 3 years are visible. i.e. 2008,2009 and 2010. So we are not able to view the reports of the year 2011. Please help us resolve this issue.

Hi Swapna,
The BCM reports are based on OLAP cubes and maybe you're facing some problem regarding the OLAP cube update with data from factbase tables (WVU database).
Check the previous logs from "Reporting Data Transformation Process" job in SQL Server Agent or the DTE application log in \VU_NAME_REPORTING\Log.

      i want to create a partitioning in my cube .
      i use 0FISCPER , 0FISCVARNT , 0FISCYEAR . but partitioning option not allow to me select any radio button. so pls tell me what is a problem ? i use diff Time Char. for this ?
      In this cube have some data , so any problem with this data if i do partitioning ?.

If cube is having data, you cannot do partitioning. You can do repartitioning in BI 7.0

Question on aggregation level "%" (percent) in aggregate definition

Hello,
I would like to find out all the aggregates that have at least one navigation attribute of a specific characteristic (let's say 0CUSTOMER) in their definition. The idea behind that is to find out which aggregates are potentially affected in a change run by a master data change for the 0CUSTOMER characteristic.
Well, I looked in table RSDDAGGRCOMP for entries that met the selection criteria {OBJVERS = 'A'; IOBJNM = '0CUSTOMER_*'}
For all navigation attributes of 0CUSTOMER - except for those that can actually be seen in the aggregate definition screen (launched via "Maintain Aggregates") - there are records that have as aggregation level (field AGGRST) '%'. What does this aggregation level mean and why is it in that table? That field description ("SAP-internal use only (technical:facts)") doesn't really bring me forward.
An aggregate, that only contains '%' as aggregation level in RSDDAGGRCOMP for navigation attributes of char 0CUSTOMER is not affected by a change run regarding the master data change of 0CUSTOMER attributes, is that right?

I have a doubt regarding the customers cube 0sd_c01 loading.
I have the data sources 0customer_attr, 0customer_text,. for loading the customer master data. I can extract the data from R/3 using these data sources.
But what is the need of 2LIS_01_S001 data source.
what data source should i use to load to the customers cube.
what is the difference be these data sources.
