Regarding Data base Adjustment

Hi All,
             while adjusting data base in SE14 i got an error in converting QCM8TAB to TAB so i unlock the table and continue. Actually in this process QCM8TAB is a temporary table its need to be deleted after adjusting. but because of the process was not completed QCM8TAB was not deleted.how to delete QCM8TAB.

Have u deleted the records in the table and then tried to delete the table from SE11? I think after u delete the records u can also delete the table from SE14.. Try it..

  • Error while adjusting data base

    Hi All,

    Have u deleted the records in the table and then tried to delete the table from SE11? I think after u delete the records u can also delete the table from SE14.. Try it..

  • Error opening data base for the library for Aperture

    Hello,
    I have been using Aperture all day and for some reason am now getting this error message when trying to open it again.
    Te was an error opening the data base for the library "users/*******/pictures/aperture3triallibrary.aplibrary
    Has this happened for anyone else?

    When I hold down ⌘⌥ firmly, at the same time, and with these keys held down double click the Aperture library that I want to repair, I get this panel:
    Then, when I select "Repair"  Aperture will show a progress bar and the Dock icon will stay highlighted.
    When it is finished, the Aperture window will open.
    When I select repair, it seems as though it doesn't run. I don't get a dialog box to confirm it's happening and on the dock the little light under the Aperture icon isn't lit, which seems it is'nt open or running.
    After you select "Repair", does the panel close and then nothing? Or does the panel not react?
    I still don't see fully, what is going on on your mac.
    But it is a good sign, that you can create a new library. That suggests, that Aperture is running correctly on your mac, and "only" your old library has a problem. Try to test the new library - import a few images and try to adjust them.
    Once you are convinced, that the new library is working well, you have three options.
    Try "Rebuild" instead of "Repair".
    Or try to import your old library into the new library (Aperture's main menu bar > File >Import > Library) - that is another approach to rebuilsd the library.
    Or restore from backup. To restore from Time Machine, open a Finder Window showing your Aperture library, and then enter Time Machine. Go back in time to the most recent date that has a working Aperture library and select "Restore". If you have enough space on your disk, restore to a different folder and don't overwrite your current library.

  • Post BI 7.0 Technical Upgrade warning in Data Basis

    Hi,
    We have carried out technical upgrade to BI 7.0 . After upgrade, there were some inconsistency in Data basis which was removed thru System Synchronization program. Similarly consolidation area and source data basis also are consistent after saving.
    However, when I carry out CHECK (right click and check) on Data Basis, it is throwing warning message for 0BCS_REFYR (master data) and 0BCS_DPER (master data)
    The error message for one of them is re-produced below:
    Critical change in content: InfoObject 0BCS_DPER (master data)
    Message no. UCM0143
    Diagnosis
    Field Life of Depreciation (Amortization) in Periods is used in the data model of data basis Data basis ISB. The corresponding InfoObject 0BCS_DPER belongs to SAP BW Content, which is delivered with the consolidation system. However, the current definition of the InfoObject does not coincide with the delivered version.
    In this case, the attribute With Master Data has been changed in the InfoObject definition. This change puts the consistency of the consolidation data model at risk.
    Procedure
    Adjust the definition of InfoObject 0BCS_DPER accordingly.
    Always avoid changing InfoObjects that are delivered in SAP BW Content.
    We have not made any changes to infoobject whatsoever. Please advise how to reslove this.
    All BCS functions are working normally.

    I can't claim to know much about visual C# Net, but I do know a bit about pagemaker. It really can't handle equations. there are a few work arounds involving things like baseline shifts and multiple text boxes, but generally equations were created in different programs and placed in pagemaker in picture or eps files. Either way the chances of extracting usable data out of pagemaker is very slim.

    I have a requirement, in a report output list to trigger a pop up window with some rejection codes corresponding to each sales order when i select from the output list. Also i need to update data base by selecting one of the rejection code in the pop-up window list for that sales order. Can any one please let me know how to achive this.
    Also, i have check boxes for each record in the output list. Also, i have added one more check box as "Select All'. When select 'Sleect All' check box , all check boxes need to be checked, how to achieve this. PLease let me know.

    After that i went to RSZC--> copy from 0IC_C03 to Z0IC_C03 all the queries, but when i am copying i dint remove the _1 beside each query. when i repeat system telling queries already in the data base. can you tell how to delete and copy freshly.

    I do not think SELECT PACKAGE SIZE  will give good performance

Reason: Each SQL statement during the process of execution is converted into a series of database operation phases. In the second phase of conversion (Prepare phase) an “execution  plan” is determined for the current SQL statement and it is stored, if in the program any identical select statement is used, then the same execution plan is reused to save time. So retain the structure of the select statement as the same when it is used more than once in the program.
    3. Reducing Parse Time Using Aliasing
    A statement which does not have a cached execution plan should be parsed before execution; this parsing phase is a highly time and resource consuming, so parsing time for any sql query must include an alias name in it for the following reason.
    1.     Providing the alias name will enable the query engine to resolve the tables to which the specified fields belong to.
    2.     Providing a short alias name, (a single character alias name) is more efficient that providing a big alias name.

    A very simple but useful method of fine tuning performance of a read statement is using ‘Binary search‘ addition to it. If the internal table consists of more than 20 entries then the traditional linear search method proves to be more time intensive.
