Nilesh

Hi Dhan chick,
the code is working fine with 4 digits number, you can get a use 5 digit number,
I had done similar codeing, where i need to convert number into words,
I used pl/sql,
you have to use div and mod functions, from a number get unit place, tens place, 100 place, 1000 place and so on, i would try to post up the code,

Umesh

    Hi,
    If you are using BI 7.0 ,goto Query designer and click the properties under the 'Query'. Then select 'Value Display' from the properties and there is a drop-down  'Display Zeroes' . You can choose 'Zero as Space' from that drop-down for the query.
    Hope it will solve your issue.
    Thanks.

  • How do I display only key instead of description in MDX query

    Hi,
    Whenever I try to display material number, QN number.... in MDX it only displays the description instead of key. In query designer, it says "display as key and text".  How do I display the key only instead of text?
    Thanks,
    Duy

    I used your query and pointed to my query and the result is as expected - both key and text. I'm not sure what is different between our IO and mine.
    SELECT [Measures].MEMBERS ON COLUMNS,
    [0VENDOR].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS
          PROPERTIES    [0VENDOR].[20VENDOR] ON ROWS
    FROM [MY QUERY]
    then I tried to hardcode the value it only showed me just the text. I tried different ways to make it show either just the key or both - but couldnt figure out. And one more thing I confirm is that the display settings in Bex really DOESNT matter or taken into consideration my MDX.
    SELECT [Measures].MEMBERS ON COLUMNS,
    {[0VENDOR].[ABCD]} ON ROWS
    FROM [MYQUERY]
    let me know if were able to figure it out
    Try the below statement and see what it does
    SELECT [Measures].MEMBERS ON COLUMNS,
    NON EMPTY [0NOTIFICATN__0NOT_TYPE].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS
    DIMENSION PROPERTIES [0NOTIFICATN__0NOT_TYPE].[20NOTIFICATN__0NOT_TYPE] ON ROWS
    FROM [YOURQUERY]

  • How can I display an icon, instead of text string, as a validation prompt?

    My validate method inside my custom validator is like this:
    public void validate(FacesContext context, UIComponent component, Object value) {
      Pattern datePattern = Pattern.compile("(\\d{2})/(\\d{2})/(\\d{4})");
      Matcher dateMatcher = datePattern.matcher((String)value);
      if(!dateMatcher.find()){
        ((UIInput)component).setValid(false);
        FacesMessage message = new FacesMessage();
        String msg = "[" + value + "] invalid date";
        message.setDetail(msg);
        context.addMessage(component.getClientId(context), message);
        FacesMessage facesMsg = new FacesMessage(FacesMessage.SEVERITY_FATAL, "xx", "msg");
        throw new ValidatorException(facesMsg);
    }My JSP has this:
    <h:inputText id="test" value="#{projecthandler.test}">
    <f:validator validatorId="DateValidator" />
    </h:inputText>
    <h:message id="testErrorMessage" for="test"/>The <h:message> tag will kick in if the user has invalid data in the <h:inputText> field and clicks submit.
    When the page is regenerated, the user will see a text string reflecting what the issue is.
    However, instead of this, I would like to display an icon consisting of a red circle with an exclamation point.
    The user is supposed to click on the icon if they want more information. By clicking on the icon,
    the user will see a message box, with a description of the error.
    This is our standard for applications. I'm trying to put together a demo showing how an existing application
    would work in JSF, so I won't be able to talk others into using JSF, unless I can get the validation to display an
    icon instead of text.

    OK, I noticed a bug in my validate method. This is updated to fix the bug, and to include the recomendation about background-image:
      public void validate(FacesContext context, UIComponent component, Object value) {
        System.out.println("DateValidator.test.1");
        Pattern datePattern = Pattern.compile("(\\d{2})/(\\d{2})/(\\d{4})");
        Matcher dateMatcher = datePattern.matcher((String)value);
        System.out.println("DateValidator.test.1");
        if(!dateMatcher.find()){
          ((UIInput)component).setValid(false);
          FacesMessage message = new FacesMessage();
          String msg = "<span style='background-image: url(/error.gif)'/>";
          message.setDetail(msg);
          message.setSeverity(FacesMessage.SEVERITY_FATAL);
          context.addMessage(component.getClientId(context), message);
          throw new ValidatorException(message);
      }When I run this, the litteral string of "<span style='background-image: url(/error.gif)'/>" is printed as the message. It does not interpret this as a span tag with an image url.

    I am a new Indesign user and a Creative Cloud member.  I was using the Window/Pages drop down window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number and also to determine whether or not my JPEG files were sufficiently HI-Res for the printer.  I don't know how I did it but somehow the window has changed so that now it does not have the alphabetical/numerical/Hi-Res information.  It just shows the pages in a two page spread in numerical order.  How can I restore the window so that I will be able to view the information as I did previously.
    Your help will be appreciated,

    The pages panel is not the place where you see this information.  You can customize the Links panel to show all sorts of things, including the page number, effective and actual ppi, and whether the link is OK or needs updating.

  • Need my custom webauth page displayed with HTTP instead of HTTPS

    I have a custom webauth page installed that I am using with web passthrough authentication on my WLC2006 in order to put up a acceptable use policy page.
    The WLC uses HTTPS to display this which causes a security certificate warning to appear if I go with the WLC's own self-signed certificate. Is there a way I can get the WLC to use plain HTTP to display this page instead so I can eliminate the warning?
    I have already tried installing a trusted 3rd party certificate on the WLC, but I have this very strange problem where mucking with the WLC's web authentication certificate in any manner causes all network activity on the WLC to break except for CDP and ARP, essentially leaving the WLC dead. Three weeks of troubleshooting with Cisco TAC has yielded no progress on that front so now I am trying to bypass the need for a security certificate altogether since I really don't need to encrypt my acceptable use policy page.

    The documentation doesn't provide very clear direction, does it?
    To download the WLC's default webauth page, browse to the controller's Security > Web Login Page. Make sure the web authentication type is Internal (Default). Hit the Preview button. Then use your browser's File > Save As... menu item to save the HTML into a file. Edit this to your liking and bundle it and any graphics images up into a TAR archive, then upload via the controller's COMMAND page.

  • IE11 - Crystal Reports - PrintMode ActiveX now displaying PDF prompt (instead of printer prompt)

    I asked this question over at stackoverflow and am now taking it here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20672254/ie11-crystal-reports-printmode-activex-now-displaying-pdf-prompt-instead-of
    It's a simple straight-forward question.  IE11 is breaking the ActiveX plug-in used for printing from the Crystal Report Viewer.  All the pretty pictures are in the link I provided.  But the jist is that for my ActiveX Print Mode reports, the PDF dialog is presented now instead of the normal Printer dialog (unless I use Compatibility Mode)
    Other details:
    I am using the Crystal Reports that comes with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.  For the life of me I can't remember how this got installed on one of my browser's (maybe an install from Visual Studio?) ... but I've been deploying the Crystal Print Control 10.5 (32-bit; version: 10.5.1.2285).
    And as mentioned in the stackoverflow post I have all ActiveX settings enabled and ActiveX Filtering off.

    Hi William,
    Moved your post to the .NET SDK forum.
    CR for VS 2008 was included in the installer of Visual Studio, you can remove it from Add/Remove Programs.
    Unfortunately the CR Basic that comes with VS 2008 only had one patch released and that's it. IE 11 was not released when it came out so we could not support it.
    Currently there are no versions of CR or our SDK packages that do support it.
    Crystal Reports Developer for Visual Studio SP 9 will support IE 11. You can get it from the Overview Tab and then on the left side. But it requires VS 2010 or above and SP 9 will support VS 2013 and IE 11.
    In VS you could select either ActiveX or PDF:
    I don't have IE 11 but to change the PDF go into the Add-ins menu:
    See this link for supported OS's and VS's:
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/b4JiAw
    Also, IE 11 is likely on Windows 2008 Server or possibly Window 8.x.
    Best thing to do is upgrade VS and then download the CR installer into VS so it supports current OS's and Browsers.

  • Regarding displaying unicode

    Hello javaGurus!
    <Please Help me regarding displaying unicode>
    I am new to javaInternationalization,
    Till now i studies. Java Internationalization tutorial at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/i18n/index.html and understand basic Structure.
    I have some problem displaying the unicode characters, such at, Arabic, and japneese.
    - How to display unicodes in applet?
    - How can we set the the Japneese, English, Arabic fonts in one application, which run on windows environment.
    - From where i can get the font s?
    Regards,
    waseem

    If you specify a String object with the unicode sequences (of the form "\u####\u####"), you can simply display it with the method setText(String) of the class javax.text.JTextComponent (or javax.JTextArea), for example. If you specify a String object with your own encoding in your source code, you can compile it with the command:
    javac -encoding <encodingName> fileName
    On Windows OS, the font ArialUnicodeMS will display almost all characters you are to show.
    You can find downloadable fonts in almost any search engine.

    most times when I import photos from my desktop or dropbox to iPhoto, iPhoto will keep the title I created for the image as the display title under the image. but occasionally it displays the filename instead and I have to go back through and reenter the title in iPhoto. why the inconsistency? running OS 10.9.5 and using iPhoto 9.5.1

    Try this:  select one of the photos that are showing the wrong title and use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Title to File Name menu option.
    See if that will put the name that you want under the thumbnail.

    Update. Get the free WordServices solution from Devon Technologies. Among its many services, it offers long and short date/time stamps that can be inserted into your document with a shift+command+% keystroke.
    Once you download WordServices, drag/drop it to your <login-directory>/Library/Services folder.
    You will need to enable this service in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Services
    Then, in TextEdit, wherever you want that long date/time stamp, press shift+command+%.

    I need any items added to a wish list to display alphabetically rather than randomly?

    If I want to carve off part of a library, I presume the way to do this is to make a copy of the library using PLM then go into iPhoto and delete what I don't want.  The result is the carved off portion.
    You don't need Library Manager to delete the portion you don't want.
    As a general rule: when deleting photos do them in batches of about 100 at a time. iPhoto can baulk at trashing large numbers at one go.
    If I want to merge two libraries, PLM implies that it will do this but will the Faces be merged too?
    I believe so.
