Regarding downloading thw report in pdf format

Hi Experts,
when we download the report in pdf format using printer friendly icon,
my concern is that is it possible to add watermark in the downloaded report
by changing in xml files.
please suggest any solutions.

Recieved Error While trying to print the OBIEE report in PDF format

Hi ,
I recieved the following error while printing the OBIEE dashboard page in PDF format . Also I recieve the same error when i try to download the report in Powerpoint format .

It is working fine for all reports except for a specific report where it gives IllegalArgumentException while exporting the PDF.

The most recent updates to the Crystal Reports for Eclipse runtime can be freely downloaded from the SAP SDN Website.

I have a requirement wherein, when i download ALV report to PDF which has Lights in the first column. My problem is these lights are not displayed instead i get the following in the PDF

U can convert any type of display(SF,ALV) to PDF.....
User Program rstxpdft4 to convert it first the O/P need to be converted into spool.

Problem in converting reports to PDF format - bug

dear all,
There is a problem in converting the reports in PDF format.
The situation is that if we use the tool bar icon in SAP B1 to get the reports in PDF format, there are printing errors. The output PDF file does not contain the exact data that is in the report, the values are getting interchanged and mismatched.
But if we do the same using the print in the PDF option in choose from printers window as we do regular pringting, the document is printed properly.
what may be the cause for this bug like thing. How can we solve it??

a) the parameter is named DESFORMAT not :DESFORMAT, there is
no : in front of the name, if you submit it via URL !
b) there are some issues with acrobat5 and IE but those are not
only caused by PDFs generated with oracle reports.

SSRS Report in PDF format opening very slowly in SharePoint

I have a SSRS report which is being hosted in SharePoint.
Currently I am opening the report in PDF format in SharePoint but it is taking a lot of time to render.
It would be very helpful if any one helps me to resolve this issue.

According to your description, it takes too long to render the report on SharePoint site when accessing it. Right?
In this scenario, it can be many possibilities which will reduce the report performance. We suggest you check the report on ReportServer first. Go to the ReportServer ExecutionLog to see which part takes more time.
Then we need to do some troubleshooting to improve the report performance. Here we have a article for your reference:

Download web reports to pdf

Hi,
I'm starting investigations to see if we can download web reports to pdf files as well as just excel. I would like to know if any knows of this being done before and any ideas of how this could be done.
Just investigating at the moment so any comments are most welcome

Report in PDF format and email it to some clients, using Database Trigger

Is it possible to run a report in PDF format ad email it to some clients after a specific event through Database Trigger. For example whenever a client makes an entry into order entry table (through entry form), a trigger should execute on Orders table, this trigger should execute or generate a PDF formatted report and finally mail it to Sales team?
I have

im new to swing and jasper.. can anybody provide me some example on how to generate the jasper report in pdf format? i will call the reportManager from sessionBean.. below is my code:

One 'simple' way is by using the DBMS_SCHEDULER db package and the procedure CREATE_JOB(....) using as job_type the value 'EXECUTABLE'...
Read for further info in 'PL/SQL Packages and Types Reference'.
If you have access to OEM ... you can configure this there using wizard.....
Other way is to use the External Procedure call capabiblity of Oracle DB Server...:
