Regarding dumps

I previously posted a thread asking for dumps.I thought of dumps as "set of practice questions" .I gt to know from replies that dumps are considered as cheats .I dont intend to cheat.
My intention was to ask for a set of practice questions (like the ones given on ORACLE website).So if anyone could tell how can i practice sample questions for oracle certification.I mean mock tests

The site will not link to any braindump content -- ever. I don't have huge amounts of material for all of the tests yet, but 1Z0-051 is reasonably well represented.
At this time I'm waiting for the domain to propagate through the Domain Name Servers before announcing it. I'll update this thread once it becomes available.ok

    Check if u have implemented BAdI for the address 'HR_IN_ER_ADDRESS'.
    if yes then check the SAP service market place, as SAP has released one new for the same. But its applicable only if BAdI is implemented.

    Can you show me the code where you have called the smart form in driver program.Becaus the FM generated in Development server may differ from the FM generated in Production server.Make sure u r passing the FM  which is generated from the function module SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME.

    Hi Madhav,
    If the dump is a time out dump, then it's performance issues and one possible solution is to run the report in background and draw out the report (as long as output is not interactive).
    If the dump is not a time out dump, then study the dump more closely, especially if the query is on a Z table because there might be some field/ data element not transported across to Q and hence causing the dump.

  • Doubt regarding dump based OSB backup

    Hi All,
    Whenever I do a dump based backup, I can see the files are not backed up sequentially in fact they are backed up across volumes as parts.
    For example let's say I have a volume of size 100G and then a dataset(containing directories and files) 150G and when I backup this dataset it will occupy two volumes. So when I check the files or directories location in the volumes, parts of files/directories are present in both the volumes.

    To try to put this more clearly:
    A given version of exp can read its, and any older, version of database, but writes its output in its version format. It can work with its, and older, versions of the database, but not newer ones.
    A given version of imp can read its, and any older, version of export file format. It can work with its, and older, versions of the database, but not newer ones.
    (I think there is some limit to how far back this compatibility goes, but this has been true for me whenever I've tried it).
    Thus to move data from 9.2.0 to 9.0.2, you would want to export using the 9.0.2 export utility and import using the 9.0.2 utility. To move from 9.0.2, you could export using either version of exp, but you'd want to import using 9.2.0.

  • Issue regarding Planning layout is not getting rendered and is dumping at : CL_RSDRC_TREX_QUERY_LAYER ~ _GET_PARTPROVS_WITH_TREX_PART in SAP TPM IP

    I am facing an issue regarding SAP TPM IP ( HANA)
    I have 3 Infoproviders
    Planning infocube, Planning DSO1, Planning DSO2 and i created multiprovider and added these 3 infoproviders into it. I have created Aggregation level on multiprovider. Created Bex Input ready query on Aggregation level.
    Issue is  Planning layout is not getting rendered and is dumping at : CL_RSDRC_TREX_QUERY_LAYER ~ _GET_PARTPROVS_WITH_TREX_PART.
    I tried debugging it and found it is trying to read   i_r_pro -> n_ts_part. It is populated with only 3 values (i.e. 2DSOs and 1 Cube), whereas <l_partprov>-partprov is referring to Aggergation level, hence read statement isn't successful, it is dumping.
    The class CL_RSD_INFOPROV_CACHE->GET() method is trying to populate the N_TS_PART.N_TS_PART uses P_R_INFOPROV table which seems to be already populated.  So, I debugged all the below methods to find out how the P_R_INFOPROV but couldn't find any clue.
    Can any one help,it would be really help.

    On the launch of planning layout it throws an error message:
    Planning is not possible RSCRM_IMP_CORE008.
    When I debugged, i got to a point wherein
    particular Real Time Planning DSO is
    not getting retrieved under the MultiProivder in below class.
    Class: CL_RSCRM_IMP_ACTIONS_SERVICE, Method: GET_INFOPROV is not
    returning the real time Info-Provider Name(i.e. Planning DSO)
    underlyingthe Multiprovider.
    I've also tried to run the report mentioned by you for the Multiprovider but issue still exists.
    Let me know, if you have any pointers on this topic.

  • Regarding ABAP Dump found when saving the job.

    Hi all,
    Generally we create a job and once the job is created,we rasie Sales Order,Purchase Order and so on.
    When we create a job we give the details of the Sold -to-party,client,parent and child job text,advertising category,project type, sales organisation,Cost and profit center,person incharge and purchase division.
    After submitting these details the job gets created and the job number will be generated.
    But now we have created a new Sales Organisation, which is leading to ABAP Dump.
    The functional people have concluded that there is nothing wrong in the configaration settings.
    If we enter an existing sales organisation in the job creation process the job is getting created and the job number is displayed.
    But if we try to enter a new sales organisation the ABAP Dump is comming.
    After debugging we came to know that BAPI function Module called
    Bapi Project Maintain Call and inside that there is another bapi call called
    BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN which is taking some structures as inputs among them
    this new sales org is there.

  • Urgent requirement - Regarding a dump

    Hi experts,
    I have written a program which changes the status of a contract from 'Released' or 'completed' to 'Expired'. The program is supposed to run in the background.
    The problem is, while writing it I tested in the development server with few test cases and it was working fine both in dialog mode and background mode. But when it is executed in the background mode in testing server, it is throwing a dump showing some Java related error after 3000secs/30000secs, i.e., after some limited no. of seconds.
    What could be the problem.
    Please help. It's an urgent issue.

  • Regarding ABAP dump during time ticket confirmation.

    Hi PP Gurus,
    I'm getting an ABAP dump while doing time ticket confirmation for a process order using COR6N. The dump is coming only for one plant and all the plants are working fine.
    The reason for dump is
    The current application program detected a situation which really should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).
    I tried to analyze the dump and got OSS# 385830. But this note only talking about the conversion of message from A to X type. What should be the reason (configuration/product error) behind that?
    If anybody came across the same, please comment on this

    Hi,
    Since this dump is happening only for a particular plant, compare the config set of this plant with the other plant which is working fine, you should be able to resolve it.
    Alternatively, ask your abaper to analyze the dump in ST22 & he / she should be able to let you know the exact reason why the dump is occurring.
