Regarding EBP (Enterprise Buyer professional) !!!

HI,
I need information about EBP. I have to install it asap.
I have a SRM server with version 5.0 which also has MDM in it.
Now i need to install EBP. how do i start?
Does EBP comes with the SRM where we need to configure it? or do we have to download the software from serveice market place?
I have configured ITS. now what should be the next step to be done?
Kindly send me step by step procress for EBP configuration?
Are there any Pre-post-configurations to be done.
Kindly give me your feed back ASAP?

If we install BBPCRM supportpackage then EBP will work.
so shall i download the support package from service market place.

Unfortunately SAP did not make one for SRM 4.0 but made the scenario configuration guides, then in SRM 5.0 the content was put into the Solution Manager, now also for SRM 6.0.

I have not used EBP yet but I am quite experienced in using eCATT. If you EBP functionality requires WebServices then you need at least SAP Release 7.00 to test these services using eCATT. However, (almost) all others (GUI-based) functions can be tested using eCATT (you should have at least release 6.20 available, 6.40 is even better).

SAP SRM Issue - "Enterprise Buyer Inbox"

Dear Colleagues,
We have created a buyer role with access to the function "Enterprise Buyer Inbox". Once the role is assigned to a test user, we can log in to SRM and the "Start Enterprise Buyer Inbox" shows up on the menu, and everything is ok. However, as soon as we add other SRM roles to the test user, the option in the menu goes away. I have traced the user in both occasions, and the same authorizations are being checked, for which I can't determine how the addition of the roles is affecting the availability of the "Start Enterprise Buyer Inbox" in the Menu.
Any ideas about it?

Could you please try the below suggestion and let me know the update.
Try to create one more role as requisitioner i.e shopping cart Wizard. Assign to one test user and check whether it is coming in the Menu.
If it is coming properly, then you can assign the buyer role and check whether the menu is getting displayed for both of the roles.

Change Title "SRM - Enterprise Buyer" of SRM Webpages

Hi all,
does anyone of you know, how to change the Title of the SRM Webpage?
I would like to change the Title of the Webpage from
"SRM - Enterprise Buyer Welcome! - ", later the title is "SRM - Enterprise Buyer -"
into something client specific.
Any chance to do that?

The image to be uploaded is already of height and width 315 by 55. However, the image is distorted on the webpage because it is constrained by the standard image dimensions of 98 by 46 pixels.
Hence to allow the image to be displayed properly, I would need to change the dimensions accordingly.
I have republished the template, and also republished the BBPGLOBAL service as well after changing the template but to no avail.
I've tried to change the window title from SRM - Enterprise Buyer Welcome! to something else but the change is not reflected after publishing. Am I changing the wrong HTML template or is there some stylesheet that is overriding all my customizations?
Any ideas?

Getting error related to Purchasing organisation in Enterprise buyer

Hi experts,
I have created one user in the SRM server,
i have given him a sufficient roles in the system,
But when i am logging on to the Enterprise buyer i am getting following two errors when i click on "Carry out sourcing".
1.User data was not found; Inform the system administrator.
2.Your user was not assigned to a purchasing organization.
the roles which i have given to this user is having almost all the roles and for that user this error is not coming in enterprise buyer.
Please someone tell me how to assign Purchasing organization to specific user.

You can assign users to any of the Org units i.e P.Org, P.Group, Co.Code etc using USERS_GEN transaction.
You can see the already assigned users under various Org. units (P.Org, P.Group, Co.code etc).
The other way of assigning users is to right click on the Org. unit under which you want to assign the user then search for the concerned user and do the assignment.
Its not mandatory to assign users to P.Org. You can assign users to the P.Group under the concerned P.Org.You have to maintain the P.org under the responsibility tab of the concerned P.group.
Hope this makes you more clear and helps in understanding the issue. Clarifications are welcome.

i am sorry there is no documentation available for trouble shooting.
for Most of the problems , you have to check out the standard sap notes , sap help , configuration guides specific for srm.
thats what we used to when i was doing trouble shooting customer issues.

How do I get pricing answers regarding Digital Publishing Suite, Professional & Enterprise Editions?

Siebel CRM Enterprise versus Professional editions

Can someone point me to a link that describes technical differences between these 2 Siebel CRM editions/versions.
Details I'm looking are capacity, supported users/license, growth.
Also, recommendations if it is worth to invest now on the Enterprise edition as opposed to the Professional edition -- if it will take perhaps 3-5 years later before a company would grow and the Professional edition will not suffice anymore.

At the same time, I'm trying to perform research on this as well but could not get a good information even from the tons of articles from Oracle site. Mostly I find from Oracle regarding Siebel CRM are marketing information I find not much of use for this post.
I believe this question is very basic and Oracle should provide good details regarding this.

Mass changes of TAX code in SRM Enterprise buyer

The TAX code in our country was change from 15.5% to 16.5%.
We all ready cerate new tax code in SPRO and we need to know what in the best way to change the tax to ten new one in POu2019S that all ready in process.
We want to process it as mass changes.

Hi,
I dont think there is any mass update function in SRM. This kind of change is generally managed through Business Process Change Management. The old purchase orders should be picked up and updated manually when you cutover to the new tax code.
Moreover, as the tax calculation is generally done in an external system(Tax system) or in SAP R/3 , why dont you think of changing the tax percentages under the same tax code and drop the idea of creating a new tax code.
