Could u please send me the approach of the following issue.Recently i did a r&d reg transaction data field addition to the existing data source.Finally i come to know that i did a mistake.I did it as follows its an addition to sd billing data source(2LIS_13_VDITM).
My addition is its a value which gives Vertical %.
I did it as follows
1) I check DS at RSA6>2)Then i select it and enhance it>3)Then I go to CMOD.->4)i give the projname>5)i go to the user exit for t-data.then i enter in to the ABAP editor screen then i give some code--->6)Then i replicate it to BW.
But unfortunately i did not get the data .
Could U please give me the exact process of enhance ment for an existing DS.If any doc can u just mail to the following e-mail: [email protected]
And also one more issue can u just give me the brief idea abt V3 control update.

Doubt on implicit enhance ment.

HI experts,
I got requirement regarding enhancements.all available are already used. so i go for implicit enhancement to add custom code,in that also already add custom code. here my doubt is can i add my code again , is it possible,if possible what type of issues will come. plz guide me.

You mean to say, already you guys implemented an enhancement & wants to place your code in the existing enhancement code. could you elaborate your req? it is always possible to implement implicit enhancements but you need to be careful while implementing them.
the implicit enhancement will gets called every time when that transaction runs or any related transactions which triggers that code . Validations accordingly will make you implement imp. ehhancements smoothly.

In MB5B trasaction(stock on postning date) one enhancement is there , and i maintain one select-option in that enhancement ,
when i execute the report tthe select-option is not shows in the selection screen.
please tell me what is the problem.

Customizing exits allow you to add your own functionality to SAPs standard business applications without having to modify the original applications. SAP creates customer exits for specific programs, screens, and menus within standard R/3 applications. These exits do not contain any functionality. Instead, the customer exits act as hooks. You can hang your own add-on functionality onto these hooks.
If you want to enhance the functionality of your R/3 System, you should take advantage of the exits available in standard R/3 applications. There are two main reasons why you should use exits rather than modifying SAP software yourself. Add-ons attached to exits have the advantage that:
     They do not affect standard SAP source code
When you add new functionality to your SAP System using SAPs exits, you do not alter the source code of standard SAP programs in any way. The code and screens you create are encapsulated as separate objects. These customer objects are linked to standard applications, but exist separately from SAPs standard software package.
     They do not affect software updates
When you add new functionality to your R/3 System using SAPs exits, your objects (called customer objects) must adhere to strict naming conventions. When it comes time to upgrade a to a new software release, customer objects names ensure that they will not be affected by any changes or new additions to the standard software package.
Customer exits are not available for all programs and screens found in R/3 standard applications. You can only use customer exits if they already exist in the R/3 System. You find find more information about locating applications with pre-defined exits in Locating Applications that have Exits.
     As part of the enhancement concept, it is possible for the customer to
     add his own elements to application logic, screens and menus.
The current possibilities for enhancement are:
Text enhancements:
     Allow the customer to add supplementary documentation for data fields
     non-specific to a transaction, and to change key word texts.
Field exits:
     Every screen element with data element reference can branch to PBO or
     prior to PAI to a function module if desired. The field contents are
     available here for doing special checks and making changes (e.g. user-
     specific checks, authority checks, writing entered data and producing
     statistics...).
Function exits:
     From the main program you branch into a software level, in which you you
     can store ABAP/4 coding. The applications programmer at SAP determines
     where in the main program the function exit is placed, and which data is
     imported/exported via the interface. The accompanying documentation
     describes the functionality of the function exit.
     Menu enhancements:
     Pre-conceived menu items can be activated and named. On the function code
     set at menu item selection, there can be a reaction in a relevant
     function exit.
Screen enhancements:
     The customer can determine the layout of areas in screens provided by the
     applications developer. Here, additional information can be displayed or
     data entered.

     Routine logic
Developers shouldnt be required to do any further analysis. Logic and details specified in the design document should be sufficient for them to develop the routine.

              In CMOD i am creating the project "ZEMAX" for creating enhancement object. i.e. my project is for program "SAPMF02D"
                 i.e. User exits: Customer master data. But when I am clicking on component TAB it gives me
                                 Function exit                  EXIT_SAPMF02D_001     when I am double clicking on it it gives me
                                   FUNCTION EXIT_SAPMF02D_001.
       "code
                                                                                INCLUDE ZXF04U01.
ENDFUNCTION.
                  But when I am double clicking on INCLUDE ZXF04U01 then it is message   " Program Name ZX.... are reserveed forincludes of exit function groups".
                  So what to do now.

I guess this is not the error but this is warning message which you are getting.. double click on that message you will get the all the details why this message is coming.
after the warning message has been displayed just press the enter button it will give you the pop up to create this include.

Regarding Enhancing Standard Infotype

Dear All,
We have a requirement where in we need to enhance a Infotype which already got enhancement.
I have added a new field in ci_xxxx include of that infotype through PM01. It alreay has a custom field called A and now I want to add Custom field B. But I do not see that field when I open this infotype using PB30. Please advice whether I need to regenerate this infotype or what I need to do so that existing development ( validations or checks) will not get effected and I should be able to see my field there.

Hello,
You need to regenerate the Infotype for the new field to reflect in the Infotype screen.Add the custom changes again.
Hope you have selected both radio button for generating the Infotype for applicant as well employee data.
Alternate way is you need to add the new field to the Infotype screen manually .You can do this from SE51.From PM01 you can dierctly goto screen painter by chosing the Screen radiobuton.
Once You have added the field to the screen ,you also need to make the declarations for the field in the module pool program.

Regarding Enhancement Point

Hi Expert,
We have a case where a Purchase requisition created parallel with sales order. My problem is I have to update the price of purchase requisition item corresponding to sale order item condition.
I find an enhancement point in include this LEBNEF0B where I can update PR price. My problem is there is no user exit available before it which contains the current condition data to pass it by exporting.
I have this problem only when I create a new line item in existing sales order.
Do someone have any idea and can help me on this.

Please elaborate your question if my solution is not relevent, because as per my understanding you want to update some value which is not available in this include to export the value and update.
If I am not wrong you can use Value of I_EBAN and accordingly you can search the velues from include program LEBNETOP where global variables are declared and do the changes accordingly.
Once this global variable for your amount value gets changes it will update the value at the time of save in the table.
You can also Export value to SAP or ABAP Memory and import the same in any relevent enhancement.
Please check it out it should work.

I movie video editting. tutorials regarding enhancing movies

This is driving me round the bend and "chat" tell me they cant offer suggestions??????.The turial regarding themes and polish reads:
"To view the different themes available in iMovie, click Themes. Use the pop-up menu at the top of the Themes pane to get a feel for what each theme looks like. Select the Reflection - White theme."
All well and fine except I cannot find a theme button??????????
in "adding photos" it says -"In iMovie, click the Media button to open the iLife Media Browser." so where in heavens sake is this media button? Not in my Imovie it isnt.
I have the following buttons:Clips, Photos ,audio, titles, trans, effecst and iDVD and thats it???????????????????????????

Hi donmalco - a mistake easily made. Apple are changing the version quite frequently, AND of course, charging for it!
iMovie 6 is part of iLife 6, which is a suite of integrated applications for audio and graphics. You must pay to get it.
Tip: when you do decide to upgrade, it is most advisable to retain your previous version - e.g. it's best to complete projects in their version of origin; and sometimes there are issues with new versions (for example, third-party plugins that work in version 5 may not work in version 6).
To retain the older version, go to your Applications folder, and re-name your iMovie as 'iMovie 5' or similar. Then when you install the new version it will not simply replace the older one.

Structure enhance ment

i am enhancing a structure kuweg ..that is i am inserting another stucture into that structure
by using appending structure.->and in that i use .include type <my struc type>
tthe problem is i can get the data saved in db tables but they are not coming in screen va01 ..which shd come
using user exit move_field_to_vbak

If u enhance the Structure in DDIC then those fields not automatically added to the Screen in VA01 . For that you have to implement the Screen Exit for VA01 tcode. (only if the Screen exit is available for VA01).

User exits (Function module exits) are exits developed by SAP. The exit is implementerd as a call to a function module. The code for the function module is written by the developer. You are not writing the code directly in the function module, but in the include that is implemented in the function module.
The naming standard of function modules for functionmodule exits is:
EXIT_<program name><3 digit suffix>
The call to a functionmodule exit is implemented as:
CALL CUSTOMER.-FUNCTION <3 digit suffix>
To find a Exit.
Goto Transaction -- Find The Package
SMOD >f4>Use the Package here to Find the Exits In the Package.
Else if you Want to search by Application Area wise ,
There is one more tab to find the Exits in the Respective Application Area.
Implementing the Exit-- CMOD Create ProjectsAssgn your Component .
Now Run ur Transaction to Check if it Triggers.
Thats it..

1. Execute the Tcode.
2. Open the SAP program.
3. Get the Development Class.
4. Execute Tcode SE84.
5. Open the Node 'Envir. -> Exit Techniques -> 'Customer Exits -> Enhancements'
6. Enter the Development class and execute.
