Regarding Error: No Authorization for Graphic Access (BDS)

Hi,
When I try to view the print preview of a form, I am getting the following error message:
No Authorization for Graphic Access (BDS)
Please help me resolve the issue.

Is that user is critical, ask the approval from the higher authorities,
Assign the authorization object using PFCG.
If u are not sure of the assigned authorization, make a trace over the user and check what object should give access? and assign it.

I am using pcui iviews in enterprise portal, I select a particular activitiy in activites application and click on "print", It gives me error saying NO AUTHORIZATION FOR GRAPHIC ACCESS (BDC)..

SMT1 creating trusted system error No authorization for object S_ADMI_FCD

SMT1 creating trusted system gives error No authorization for object S_ADMI_FCD even after giving authorizations in both the system. Was not able find the issue by debugging.

Hi,
Have you tried assigning authorizations to the id from which you are creating trusted system?
If no, please do it and check.
Also check in SU53 after getting the authorization error.
Also check the connection between two systems in SM59.

Doesnot ask for access key. error No authorization for the 'S_DEVELOP'

Hi,
After applying patches,in transaction F-43 one of the field Inv Recd Date( BSEG-ZOLLD) is not getting displayed.
after analzing we found that ZOLLD is not there in screen SAPMF05A(0302).
in my development server when i try to change the screen it says "You have no authorization for the authorization object 'S_DEVELOP', which would allow you to change the screen concerned"
my profiles contains sap_all and sap_new rights even then I am getting this error.
Why doesnt it ask for access key ?

Ehm, do you really think the SU24 settings for a transaction influence the changeability of it's underlying screens/programs etc? It will not matter at all what you do with S_DEVELOP in SU24.

1. Check in SU53 tcode
2. You are having RSECADMIN/PFCG tcode access?? If yes you can give authorisation for the same.
3. You dont have S_RS_ADMWB - authorisation
4. for your user id give this above authorisation
5. If you are unable to do the same, ask your basis team to give you the authorisation

Hi,
analyze the missing authorization with transaction SU53 immediately when the error appeared.
Ask your system/authorization administrator to grant you the missing authorization.

Error - No authorization for object while viewing transformations in BI 7.0

Folks,
In BI 7.0, In the Data flow diagram, when I had tried to click on the transformation sybmol, system is throwing an error message No authorization for object   (authorization object ) Message no. RS_EXCEPTION250
Do I need to request for authorization to just view transformations or is this error something different ?

CK40N error: Missing authorization for BOM (SAP Error: CK-581)

When running CK40N, I found an error message Missing authorization for BOM (SAP Error: CK-581).
If this is the problem of my CK40N that make object cannot be costed, how can I solve this? Is this relate to SAP authorizartion?

Hello,
While doing Costing run CK40N or Cost estimate CK11N, you require having authorization of T. Code CS03 for the plant in your SAP ID as it explodes BOM.
Kindly contact basis team & take the authorization on your SAP ID.

SM35 error, No authorization for FB05

User is trying run J3RFUM26 , Which creates job in sm35, Later they will run the job in foreground, job runs successfully for RUB, ZUSD & EUR but for ZEUR it says no authorization for FB05, Actually users not given access for this tcode, checked exchange rates in OB08, they are maintained, Please help me resolve this issue. Your screen shot has not given much information.
Check the missing authorization from /nSU53, then give the authorization from PFCG for the role (which is assigned to the particular user)

hi, we have few requirements related to controlling access to Business partner master data.
1. there are sales teams for each geography and they need to see only accounts in their geography.
2. there are account teams who get to access only few named accounts.
any pointers on how to set these..i am aware of authorization groups but that is not solving the complete requirements

You can try and see information on Access Control engine and this is a functionality provided by SAP to restrict certain users to access data relevant to them and you can search forum for ACE.
This is useful for PCUI application

No authorization for FM area error

I am encountering an error only in our QA environment that I'm hoping someone else has encountered before.
We are using SRM 4.0 in the classic scenario. Our system looks at a user's security in the backend (ECC 5.0) for account authorization.
Last month, I created a cart as a test user using specific accounts. Now, when I try to use those same accounts, I get the following error: No authorization for FM area 0011 activity Post.
No security changes have taken place. The only change we have made is that we have begun a new fiscal year. We use funds availability but have it currently turned off.
I'm still waiting on a response from our security team to see what changes may have taken place in our QA environment only. We tested the BADI for the account authorization and that passed. This error message does not appear to be related to account authorizations but something else.
Can anyone help me?

Problem resolved. Our background user, RFC_USER, had SAP_ALL removed. Need to work with our security team to make sure the background has the appropriate security.

How to set authorization for BW Workspace in backend and Portal ?

                     I have developed one BW Workspace in development environment . I have some query regarding BW workspace authorization for access in portal . Some of the queries are as follows:
1) How many composite provider we can build up inside of one workspace that we can go by Tcode ---RSWSPW ?
2) After activating the workspace it shows in RSWSPW ,but this workspace/composite provider will be available in Info Area(in RSA1) or some area else from where we can see this ?
3) Now our requirement is like that -- we have to provide some workspace for SD power user ,Finace Power user & Marketing Power users, in this situation how can we put authorization in bw workspace like SD power user should not see the FI Power user's & Marketing Power user's Workspace rather than his own workspace ?
4) In our requirement, we are going to produce some bex query on top of bw worksapce composite provider . For creating this query ,we searched provider by puting provider name directly in serach option , but is there any option to search the bw worksapce related composite provider by putting info area name in query search ?
5) In another senerio, we gone to create BO AA OLAP report on top of bw workspace composite provider but in source option we cant see the provider ,infact we could not search the composite provider in search option in source selection ----   do i need to navigate any step in compostie provider to make it enable for BO AA OLAP creation on top of composite provider ?

The Process Chain Maintenance (transaction RSPC) is used to define, change and view process chains.
Upload Monitor (transaction RSMO or RSRQ (if the request is known)
The Workload Monitor (transaction ST03) shows important overall key performance indicators (KPIs) for the system performance
The OS Monitor (transaction ST06) gives you an overview on the current CPU, memory, I/O and network load on an application server instance.
The database monitor (transaction ST04) checks important performance indicators in the database, such as database size, database buffer quality and database indices.
The SQL trace (transaction ST05) records all activities on the database and enables you to check long runtimes on a DB table or several similar accesses to the same data.

Hi,
Please create a role for the reporting user in T code PFCG.
Assign execute authorization for the query using authorization object
S_RS_COMP and S_RS_COMP1.
Assign the role to the user.
Basic idea is to make sure the user has execution authorization for the query you are running in Portal.
