I have 5 years of experience in Forms6i. I want to upgrade myself to Forms10G. Which certification or certification*s* is best suited for me considering my experience in Forms?

Need help regarding form validation

Hi all,
I have particular doubt regarding form validation. I have a form based on a table. ( One data block ) . I have a function in program unit which return boolean value based on some conditions. I will be calling this function in block validate trigger.
What i need is , if function return false i need to stop any insertion,updation action that's going to be done by forms.( point to control insertion and updation)
I don't want to use form triggure failure builtin. What should i do ? plz guide

For re-certification i want to re-publish all the infopath forms.
Now, is there any way to re-certification all the forms with out re-publish.

I think here is the simplest way I can think of.
1. Open Infopath library in windows explorer.

Hi,
HR forms are created using Tcode PE51. The program to use this form is Standard SAP programs. You can not write your own program to access this form.
This HR forms are specifically designed to created Payslip. So the standard program to access payslip is again country specific. For e.g. US, the program name is RPCALCU0.

Query Regarding OCP certification

Hi.. I am planning on giving the OCP (1z0-043) certificates in a couple of weeks time. I am also planning to give the 11i Apps DBA (1z0-033) right after that. I have already cleared the OCA certificates a year ago.. Now, what i would like to know is Can i give both the certifications(1z0-043 and 1z0-033) in a span of two weeks and then attend the instructor led class or is it necessary that I have to clear the 1z0-043 first, attend the instructor led training and then only give the 1z0-033 exam

First of all 1Z0-033 is not for Oracle 11i Apps DBA Exam. It's 1Z0-233 - 11i Install Patch and Maintain Oracle Applications - Oracle 11i Applications Database Administrator.
Step 1:As you have already completed the OCA, then you will have to write the Oracle Database 10g: Administration 2 - 1Z0-043 Exam, then you will become as Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Professional – OCP.

There are two tracks Developer and DBA..Or else u can learn sql and pl/sql alone for developer
One is oracle forms developer sql,pl/sql,forms & Reports
Another one is Oracle DBA sql,pt,fund1 & fund2
Or else u can learn sql and pl/sql for developer do the certification it enough and further u can do later

Regarding Forms Look & Fell 1.3.8 (Hyperlink in sigle line text item PJC)

I am using single line text item PJC in my form. I have a tabular block in which one text item implementation calss property is set to "oracle.forms.fd.LAF_XP_TextField".
Following code is written on when-timer-expire code

In you case, it is a generic issue using the Set_Custom_Property() built-in. If you want to set the property on every record, use the ALL_ROWS keyword in place of second argument.

David Powers --- Regarding form validation with dreamweaver behaviors

I am in the chapter teaching about form validation with the Zend Framework. I have done the entire lesson with the lesson files and everything works perfectly...
but I went back to use the form valdation techniques for my own site and it is not working properly. In the book, Chapter 6 teaches how to create a user login and editing the database through the site. But in chapter seven the form validation does not build on top of this and therefore does not teach how to integrate the form validation with the registered user already set up.
I have user registration completly working on my site and everything runs fine. I am trying to add the form validation but it is all completly ignored. When I leave a field blank it simply takes me to another blank page that reads "Column 'first_name' cannot be null"

I replaced some code here to protect myself, but the library.php file is completely functional and has been tested... I am sure the problem ins't in here.
Please let me know if you need any further code to help you out. I am brand new to PHP and so far everything has ran smoothly up til now. I have my Zend Framework uploaded to my server and tested that my site is connecting to it properly. Any help on this would be so so awesome! I am in the chapter teaching about form validation with the Zend Framework. I have done the entire lesson with the lesson files and everything works perfectly...
but I went back to use the form valdation techniques for my own site and it is not working properly. In the book, Chapter 6 teaches how to create a user login and editing the database through the site. But in chapter seven the form validation does not build on top of this and therefore does not teach how to integrate the form validation with the registered user already set up.
I have user registration completly working on my site and everything runs fine. I am trying to add the form validation but it is all completly ignored. When I leave a field blank it simply takes me to another blank page that reads "Column 'first_name' cannot be null"

Query regarding Form Object

Dear All,
In my Add On, I have many forms and I am using only one form object for all the forms. Is it permissible or I have to use different form objects for each form. When I am navigating from One form to other I am getting error as Invalid Form. In one case I am opening another(child) form from the parent form, but when I close the child form and click anything on the parent form I am getting error as Invalid Form. Please help me.

Hi,
the error "Invalid Form" refers to the attempt to take a reference to a not existing form, like this:
oForm = oSboApplication.Forms.Item("ThisFormUIDNotExists")
Or probably you use e not correct reference to a form in order to reach an item, like this:
' oForm is not set properly
oItem = oForm.Items.Item("TheItemUID")
