You're spending a lot of money. I will add my 2¢ -- -- but you must, as I assume you know, fully research your options.
Environment:
Start with your workspace (inc. lighting) and your clothes.
Screen:
The iMac screens are lovely, but not, from what I hear, monitor-grade accurate. For critical color work, use NEC or Eizo monitors. I use NEC, with their SpectraView II software and an X-Rite ColorMunki photospectrometer. At the time, this was the least expensive color-calibrated workflow.
Printer:
Epson's are great, imho. I use a 3880 in my studio and rent a 9900 by the hour when needed. I have read of problems (iirc) with one of the printers in the 7000 line, however. The take-home lesson that I filed in my brain was, "If you're going to spend the money on the 7000 line, just get the 9000 line."
Aperture workflow:
Aperture is a fantastic workflow tool. Since you are adept with PS, you should set PS as your external editor. Use Apertures formidable tools for storing and organizing your Images, and its robust editing tools for either all your proofing, or all but your most demanding editing needs. That said, allow a good bit of time to get the feel of Aperture. It is not at all like Bridge. But your important choice is which RAW converter you want to use. There is, imho, no reason to use Aperture if you are going to use Adobe's (or anyone else's) RAW converter.

I have started getting spammed on multiple Apple products (iPhone and iPad) with FaceTime calls since the recent IOS update. Is there any feature or setting I can use locally to restrict incoming calls to a FaceTime account without going to the carrier?
After calling AT&T tech support one more time, and explaining to them that the glitch was on their network, they admitted that the problem was at their tower...
I continued to use the phone on EDGE mode for two more days until the problem was fixed.
I even got a call back from a tech support guy asking me if my phone was working properly....
I wish they would have admitted to the problem before I sat at the apple store for 2 hours. -

There's really not much you can do after the site has been published to reduce the png's. But before, there are some changes you can make that will help considerably.
1 - do not use any borders, etc. around photos.
2 - don't use any reflections.
3 - create your own navigation bar with linked text and turn of the iWeb Navigation bar. The nav bar is all png based.
4 - use only the web safe fonts from the Font pane.
5 - turn off smart quotes
6 - do not use drop shadow on fonts.
The above will reduce the number of png files associated with a web page considerably. You can run a test with a test site and publish to a folder. Then follow the hints above and publish to another folder and compare folders.
One way to handle multiple sites is to use iWebSites. It lets me create multiple sites and multiple domain files. If you have multiple sites in one domain file here's the workflow is used to split them into individual site files with iWebSites.
For me it makes updates several sites and publishing only one very easy.

Multiple batches for a production order and mapping with components
Hello Gurus,
Our business requires to create multiple batches for one production order + they want to trace which component in the production order has been issued to the main equipment.
For example, I am creating production order for 'A' equipment for 4 qty. Business wants to create 4 different batches for these equipment
Lets say now 4 batches are created A001, A002, A003 and A004.
Now lets assume 2 nos of 'B' component are required for 1no of 'A' component. So the requirement of B component is 8.
Lets say 8 batches are generated B001, B002 ......B008
Now lets say batch B001 and B002 are issued for A001 and packed together. How do we map this?
I understand we can do some enhancement for creating the multiple batches but I still dont know how to map them with each other.

There is a functionality called WIP batches, that allows you keep the batch traceability within an order.
With WIO batches you can track which batch of component was used to produce each batch of finished product.

BPM 11g install and configuration with Webcenter
Hi,
I am new to this BPM so need some help in installation. Where can I download the latest version of BPM 11g and for installating it what steps do I need to follow. Also I need to integrate Webcenter also so for webcenter integration what do I need to install and configure with BPM 11g.
Do I need to install webcenter full suite for integration with BPM and if so can I install both BPM and webcenter in one home iteself. Where can I find some documentation arround installing BPM and configuring with Webcenter.

Need some info on the install I have to install both SOA BPM 11g 11.1.1.3 and Webcenter 11.1.1.3 on the same box. I have installed the SOA BPM 11.1.1.3 but wanted to find out what is the best option of installing Webcenter 11.1.1.3 as I need to integrat SOA BPM 11g 11.1.1.3 and Webcenter 11.1.1.3. Here is what I think are the options but don't know which one should I go for or is there any other option but the fact is I need to install both on the same box.
*1. Should I install Webcenter in a separate HOME in doing so I will end up installing weblogic again and then install webcenter. Will endup having two ORACLE HOMES one for SOA BPM and one for Webcenter.*
*2. OR should I install Webcenter in the same home as SOA BPM and create a new domain in doing so what happens to some of the components that are installed when installing SOA BPM.*
*3. OR should I just extend the SOA BPM Domain and have both SOA BPM and Webcenter installed in the same domain. I believe this will only add the webcenter components but don't know if there are any issues.*

Experience of traveling through Great Britain and Germany with my iPad
I wanted to share my experiences regarding traveling through Great Britain and Germany with my iPad.
It should be noted that my son brought his netbook with iTunes on it so it was simple to get the carrier file for microsims. I think if you are travelling without an additional system for the update, a quick visit to an apple store would take care of it.
*First stop: Scotland/England*
The day after I got to Scotland we found a 3 store. I walked in found a iPad specific sim hanging on the wall, took one and brought it to a rep who took my ten pounds and activated the sim. All in all, it took about five minutes. It popped it in when we got back to the hotel and connected the iPad to my son’s netbook, iTunes popped up, I told it not to sync and then it offered to update the carrier file. I clicked okay and a few minutes later I had 3G up and running with 250 megs of pre-paid data. In my last few days in London I did another 10 pound top-up as we found ourselves relying on the mapping functionality a lot.
Coverage-wise, 3 was quite good. The only places I had problems was when we were on a four-day hike along Hadrian’s Wall where I found the signal coming and going.
All in all it was a great experience and I give it an A.
*Second stop: Germany*
Germany was a completely different thing.
Both Vodaphone and O2 shops do not have sims in stock. You need to pre-order the sims and have them mailed to a German address. On top of that, one of them (I can’t remember which) wanted 25 euro just for the sim. The reps in the store were always unhelpful, many did not even know that iPad sims were available form their respective companies and several mentioned that because “no one wanted an iPad in Germany” they didn’t see the point in carrying the sims. So no 3G in Germany for me.
On top of that, WiFi was not all that common. Even places that advertised free wifi often told us it was currently broken.
So, iPad travel experience in Germany: D-I just returned from 1 of only 2 carriers(telcel main office only)where I live in Los Cabos, Mexico, I just paid $149 pesos/$11.60 US for a sim and I was told they needed me to bring my ipad in, after about 1 hour they finally gave me my sim, and then said at least 24 hours for activation. There is no easy way from what I have been told to add money/time, you can go to their main office and pay for exactly whatever plan you want, you must return to their office to renew using this method, the other way is to buy a prepaid card and supposedly enter the code into the ipad, but none of the cards denominations correlate with the plans that are offered. I have lived here 20 years so nothing surprises me anymore. It was basically a cluster---, due to the fact nobody seemed to have a clue about the ipad, I jokingly asked if I was their first ipad customer, they said I was their 2nd. So it seems to me, if you had planned to use this "magical ipad" for travels in different countries, you had better make sure you have wifi, or take your laptop instead. I am somewhat disappointed that apple wants to sell millions of these, yet does not make sure their carriers know what is going on. Either I misunderstood all the hype and ad's, or this thing probably is best used only where you know you can receive wifi. I bought 3 ipads, this last one a 3g, I can see I will have to bring my laptop on all travels if I want to be assured of having internet, it seems apple should concentrate a bit more on customer service instead of sales. I will update when and if I get a connection.

I need advise and help with this problem .
First , I have been with Mac for many years ( 14 to be exact ) I do have some knowledge and understanding of Apple product .
At the present time I'm having lots of problems with the router so I was looking in to some info , and come across one web site regarding : port forwarding , IP addresses .
In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer

Why is it that when I am trying to install an adobe product, I get 33% of the way through and then it gives me an error "unable to load metafile"?? It happened with Reader and now with Flash player. With the Reader, I was able to find a different installation link using the troubleshooting guide. I cannot find the same with flash player. Please tell me how to install Flash player because there is a website that I cannot even view without it. BTW That is annoying that I cannot even see the website without flash player

I have a pc with windows 7 professional. I use adobe cs6 production suite and all of a sudden premiere pro stopped working. I had installed a program recently and created a system restore point prior to it's installation. I installed Zaxwerks proanimator 5.1. Restored computer back and I now get an error when trying to run any cs6 program it is a configuration error and it says to uninstall and reinstall.Won't uninstall says I have an error 1. What should I do?

If you look at the above message, the 3rd & 6th employee are female. In the BPM design, we use
a) 'Transformation' step, to split the messages (1:n).
b) Block Step (Mode : For Each) to process one by one message
c) in the Container Step, thru XPath expression we created one variable and assign '***' to that variable
d) In the Switch step we check whether variable is 'F' (Female). If it is there we insert control step to throw exception. (But, exception Branch is not added to catch the exception. The reason is that to restart the BPM)
e) If the *** is 'M' we insert Send Step to send the employee to the output file.
Note that if we insert exception handler branch, the BPM will tell this is completed. So, we are not able to restart those records (*** = 'F') after correct ***. Once the BPM is completed, that work item will not come in tcode 'Continue Process Following Error' option in tcode SXMB_MONI_BPE
Requirement is whenever the BPM encounters *** = 'F', it should throw an error and the same time BPM should not stop and continue with the next records.
Friends, we tried all the ways thru 'Queue Assignment' property of the BPM and made settings thru tcode SWF_INB_CONF. But, we are not able to achive this requirmenent.
'Restart possibilitye of the BPM for the error record and the same time should process the remaining correct records'.
Any idea friends, to solve this issue.

Collecting :
If ur record is female (u r checking this in swich step) , pass tht record to intreface mapping (use one branch here to collect the message).
Else you send that message to the target(else branch)
After that use one block for collecting messages and throw the exception for each record...... -
