Regarding GR ref field

Hai,
While I am doing a report to display the folowing fields PO Number,PO date,plant,GR ref,GR date.I got all the fields except GR ref.Can anyone tell me the field for GR ref.

You can get reference field by using XBLNR field in MKPF Table.

hi praveen,
when u create the transformation for the DSO, it asks for the source. in that you enter your datasource, then you get the datasource fields on one side and the rules in the middle and the DSO objects on the other side. whichever field of DataSource you want to refer in tranformation rule, just connect that field to the rule for the required object of the DSO.

Hi Dave,
it's a functionality used to autopopulate the Ref3 field in the matrix of the JE. For example, you enter a BP or GL account & manually enter the value of '5' in the Ref3 field, when you now click on the account code field to enter an account in the second row, the application will automatically put in the manually entered value+1 into the Ref3 Ffield in the second row, here '6'.

ANSI X12 EDI 850 V4010 - REF Field length Increase

Hi,
The standarad EDI V4010 definiation contains Segment:REF, Field:127, MaxLength:30 (ISA.GS.ST.REF:127), partner sending a EDI data with more than 30 characters for this field. As per their EDI guide lines the MaxLength allows upto 50 chars for this field.
Have changed the field length from 30 to 50 chars in ANSI X12 850 V4010 message structure and re-generated EDI To XML mapping.When test the mapping in BIC tool, the EDI file is getting converted to EDI XML when the field value is more than 30 chars i.e upto 50 chars. Also Tested by giving more than 50 chars value for this field and it's failed to convert in BIC mapping tool saying 'The length of the field value is too big'.
As the change working in BIC tool, generated sda file and deployed on PI QA system. While test the change after .sda file deployment the change of Field Length is not reflecting and it's only allowing upto 30 chars only., and more than 30 chars data for this field EDI files are failing.
As the change working alone in BIC tool fine and not reflecting thefield length after sds file deployment. Any ideas about this issue and how to handle this requirement.

If you see the documentation what you have given :
Parameters:
on: delimiters at the end do not appear
off: delimiters at the end appear
it clearly says the parameter is used for the delimiters, but not for truncating length of the fields in Seeburger.
I'm not sure if you've ever used the BIC Mapping tool and what I'm really looking for is someone with experience in this area to give a solution that works for this question:
By the way I have used the seeburger and this requirement we have done within XI because we have done all the rules within XI not in seeburger. But I will give a try with this requirement and will try to update you. Until unless I work with any of the issue I will not suggest. Even If I didnt I will try and then will suggest. Dont get me wrong.

When u r creating a table, for CURR,UNIT and QUAN type there is a refernce field and Reference table exists. This will inturn refers to the header table where the QUAN and CURR fields are maintained.

Reference tanble and ref.field issue about the datasource

I want to create a generic datasource by a database view in R/3.
In the database view, there is one quantity filed which refer to a structure field not a table filed. Then I can not add the structure field into the database view.
How can I do? Can I create the datasource by a query?

Provide me your personal email id and I can send you step by step screenshots (Steps for creating an infoset).
Here are the steps:
1. Goto SQ03
2. Create a User Group and assign your user id to it.
3. Goto SQ02
4. Enter a infoset name
5. Assign the infoset to the user group you created in step 2.
6. Now click on Create
7. Select Radio Option "Direct read of table"
8. Specify the table name
9. Save and generate the infoset.
10. goto RSO2 and follow the steps for creating the generic datasource.
11. Specify the Infoset name.

Regarding Selection-Screen Field Display

Hi All,
I have issues with Selection-Screen field display.
The Actual issue is i had declared a selection screen field as: s_exgen FOR embk-exgen.
EMBK-EXGEN is actually 20 Char length field.
But in output display it is being shown as 18 Char field though i can type in all 20 characters.
But display restricted to 18 Characters only.
Can anybody give me the solution for the same!

Hi,
You can decrease the visible length of the field but you can not increase more than database field length. check SAP help on this :
select-options: s_exgen FOR embk-exgen VISIBLE LENGTH 5.
... VISIBLE LENGTH vlen

Regarding Internal Table Field Validation [Modification]

Hi All,
I have a small issue with formatting of a field.
The Field is POTX1 - it would get the value as 'New MT-EPPE0097-COMP02',
Means i have one internal table field as i_error-POTX1 in that some times we get value as 'New MT-EPPE0097-COMP02'.
Whenever i get 'New' literal in that internal table field i have to remove that literal from that internal table field. And Left Justify the remaining part of the field.
Ex: 'New MT-EPPE0097-COMP02'
     should become 'MT-EPPE0097-COMP02'.
For this first i have to find wether 'New' Literal exists in the Internal table field or not then i have to remove it.
Can anybody tell me how can i solve this issue.

Regarding assembly indicatr field in CS03(Which table can i fetch it from?)

I have a simple query regarding the transaction CS03. When I give the Material Number, Plant and BOM Usage as input, I would get the list of components for this material.
Inside the transaction, is a CHECKBOX field ASM - this Indicates that the component for this material has its own BOM or has further components).
Could anyone tell me in which SAP table this information is stored i.e. an indicator to tell us if the component/material has further BOM or not.

There's no table to find out the field for STLKZ - Assymbly Indicator.
Try with Some Functional Modules for BOM.

In Adobe forms going into the form context when we drag and drop Global data from the Interface into the Context the data displays all the fields regarding the specific table.
So in that we can deactivate unwanted fields.
But my question is how can we deactivate unwanted fields in bulk rather than deactivating each and every unwanted single field which is time consuming?

Need to populate text/ref fields for docs generated by allocation cycles

When executing distribution or assessment cycles the doc header text, reference field and line item text are all left blank in the generated accounting document. We would like to populate these fields with some reference to the cycle or segment names. Is there any doc type or cycle setting or standard config that would allow us to populate these fields without the use of an exit? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
To insert the text and field value inside the template you need to add insert the text inside the tempate node.
assign the text or field into the text and then decide the position of the ext in the templete in output condition tab or text.
insert the row and column number in the this to filed where you want to display the text.
for e.g if field needs to displayed in the 2nd row and 3rd column then mention line = 2 and column = 3 in the output tab of the text.

Regarding input output field of the screen painter

I want to increase the height of the input output field in the screen painter.

when u drag n drop some fields in the screen goto to one of the corners of dat fields drag to the extend u want to increase.
or in attributes section for u length n width of dat fields are available just increase to your wish.
