Regarding india map in geo spatial

Please update India's map at that is on test drive at http://maps.oracle.com/elocation/ajax/index.jsp. I think google handles it better by showing dotted lines in the disputed areas of Kashmir rather than showing smaller kashmir region. I think this policy can be followed for other disputed areas around the world.

To do this you have to have the settings done in Info object maintenance where in the Map should have been integrated already.
Once that is done, in BEx designer you can have the setting by cloicking the icon.

Oracle MapViewer can use SDO_GEOMETRY type columns stored in database, also it is possible to draw live features using (X, Y) and load external attribute data.
However, your customer can use free Oracle 10g Express Edition, XE comes with free Locator option. In fact, all data from external source (MapInfo TAB files, etc.) can be loaded into XE database and used by MapViewer. The benefit of this solution - all spatial/nonspatial data will be stored centrally in the system, using SDO_GEOMETRY type.

Do we have INDIA map in map components

Hi All,
I have query.....
I need to take India map and create dashboard on it using the states.
If once i click on the respected state the chart has to dispaly the sales
value of current year and precvious year in the column chart.
And also if we click on the coluumn chart the district has to be displayed
and it must show which region has the less sales, and also the less sales
the region has to be shown in red colour, if it has more sales it should show in Green colour.
This is my query, and i have tried. its not happenning.
My doubt is wheteher we are having INDIA map in th map component.... of xcelsius.
if not please say the way how can we do it.
Plz help me if having any ideas....

I understand your requirement, we can use Google Maps for this requirement. Its not that much complex what
Senthil was saying.
Simply we can restrict the zoom to the desired location and lock it.
For initial test you can download a trial version from centigon solutions site.
I hope this idea may help. Let me know if you have issues in implementation.

Nokia maps 1.0 - india maps, Maharashtra and Goa

Hi all,
I want to download india maps and specifically maps of Maharashtra and Goa. I bought a Nokia C2-03 (dual-sim) recently and have been trying to download maps via Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.90 but it has been a failure.
The device itself does not have much memory but do have a memory card. Does anybody know how :-
a. I can download and install the Maharashtra and Goa map in the memory card ?
b. A link from where I can download the map. I did see this link given /t5/Maps-Navigation-and-GPS/Maps-Data-File-size-discrepancy/m-p/1166517/message-uid/1166517/highligh... but unfortunately it seems for a different version of Nokia maps .
c. Am I correct in assuming its Nokia maps 1.0 . This I came to know via Menu > Maps > Options > About where it says Maps 1.0 www.nokia.com/maps/support

Welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately S40 devices use Nokia Maps 1.0 for which available mapping is a lot less detailed; presumably you have inserted memory card and opened Nokia Maps application at least once upon your C2-03 to initialise application? At this point Ovi Suite > Maps should recognise memory card and offer you maps to download but not always so.
That said Series 40 Ovi Maps 2.1 is variable in implementation and if device supplied with local maps installed upon memory card there doesn't seem an issue adding more maps but real issues if no maps with it sometimes.

is there any update regarding Apple maps from Apple...? I live in sydney. I Know there are lots of issues with Apple maps but i reported more than 3 issues and i could see there is no resolution for those issues ?

Apple does not broadcast anything. The audio encoding options selected for content is controlled by the services the content comes from. Apple just distributes content they are provided with. I am not 100% sure but I believe the current ATV only supports 5.1 so it is pretty likely 7.1 could not be supported with out a new ATV device update, and they have not updated ATV in about four years now. Starting to wonder if they are going to. They used to own this market and now have pretty much lost it. You might check Amazon Fire. I think it might support 7.1. I finally gave up on waiting on Apple and bought one and am mostly happy with it.

TimesTen and Geo-spatial data

Can TimesTen support geo-spatial data (and datatypes) as supported in Oracle? For example, if one created a set of Oracle tables that held geo-spatial data, could TimesTen be used in its "caching" form to speed geo-spatial queries?

Esri Shape-File to Geo-Spatial Image Search

Dear All
I am developing a c# desktop application in which user have to provide a Shape-File for geo-spatial image search. I have a back-end database in SQL server 2012 in which I am saving metadata of each image, that also includes lat/ long of corner point of each
image. Now the user will provide its shape-file from the desktop application and it will searches SQL database geo-spatial images repository to fetch all images that comes inside provided shape-file. Ad I am new to SQL spatial data handling feature and just
read about STIntersection method available through which this task can be performed.
The main problem that I am facing is that how can handle shape-file passing from front end application in SQL to make a query that will check each geo-spatial images that whether it comes inside shape-file or not?
I have also a KML file of each image, will I have to make a shape file of each image and store them in database and then query STIntersection to check whether the shape-files overlap/ intercept each other or not?

ok thats nice. I have meta data of my geo-spacial images in sql database. i will get the corner points(latt/long) from there and use the following query to check whether it resides in provided shapefile of not

Confused regarding interface mapping in BPM scenarion

my scenario goes like this:
have 2 sources sendign files to target.
Am using BPM to merge the input files into a single target file.
am confused as to which interfaces to use in interface mapping.
(have 3 abstract ,and 2 outbound and 1 inbound interfaces).
am already using 2 abstract interfaces as input and 1 abstract target interface in o/p for nterface mapping.
However ,while running the configuratin wizard,no interface mapping appears.
please help me ASAP.

Whenever you use transformation in BPM process where you will mention interface mapping there itself, so you cant see the it in interface determination. Your scenario is configured correctly.

Breaks (between episode) --???
My requirement is how to define episode by covering cost & revenue form all related modules i.e. (MM/SD/FICO) considering as were are implementing only this modules

Whether it is right G/l,
It's depends on you & your fico & client team.
If this account exclusively defined for refurbished material,then it is right and if this g/l is defined for any other transaction then it wrong one.
Now Related to COPA entries,
Settle the order for which you are consuming this material by KO88, (Remove tick mark of TEST RUN)
Go to details>>>Accounting document>>>double click on Profitability analysis
and see values are updated in Cost field or not.

Regarding Sements Mapping for desired output

I am just confused how to handle this
I have two source segments E1EDL37, E1EDL44 and Target IBINPT00
all 3 segments occurence is 0...9999
So for each occurence of E1EDL37 n no of sements repeat for E1EDL44(is in E1EDL37 only) and mapped to IBINPT00
I have mapped E1EDL44 segment and fields to IBINPT00 and also E1EDL37 fields to IBINPT00 fields
Now when i run the scenario i am getting the output like this

I have used useOneAsMany node function but now i am not getting any values to the target...
I have used like this
E1EDL37,EXIDV,EXIDV to useOneAsMany --> SplitByValue > IBINPT00>IDVOL(target filed)...
I am not getting the values now at all why? could u help me
Note E1EDL37 (occurence is 0..9999) , EXIDV occurence (0.1) IDVOL (0.1)
