Regarding inserting a field or text in template cell

Hi Experts,
Please let me know how to insert a field or text in the Cell in template.
I created template
C1 1 14 20.00 MM 8.00 CM 4.00 CM 4.00 CM CM
i have 14 lines and 3 columns in it
i need to insert the feilds and text in it.
Please let me know ,how to proceed.

Hi,
To insert the text and field value inside the template you need to add insert the text inside the tempate node.
assign the text or field into the text and then decide the position of the ext in the templete in output condition tab or text.
insert the row and column number in the this to filed where you want to display the text.
for e.g if field needs to displayed in the 2nd row and 3rd column then mention line = 2 and column = 3 in the output tab of the text.

Thank you for the idea bruce. I did try that and tried it again just now. I've attached a screenshot of the result. It fills the cell and gives me a blue outline with no resizing nodes. I must be missing something on how to resize the subform. Any more ideas?

Variable field in Text module which is used in Adobe forms

I want to use text module in my Adobe form to display text .
Problem is that i want to insert a variable dynamically in text module i.e.
My text is:
For example : "In the period from &EMPLOYEE_DETAIL-PERIOD& you have not paid your tax:"
Now EMPLOYEE_DETAIL is a structure in context of form with period as field .
I want that data stored in this field should come in adobe,right now instead of data this text &EMPLOYEE_DETAIL-PERIOD& comes i.e. this is considered as text
I tried this with SO10 by clicking on the "add" icon, i am getting a pop up screen with the following option. can you please help me which option to select and how to define the variable?
Options given in pop up screen
1. Symbols,
2. Command,
3. Text Element,
4. Comment,
5. SAP Characters
6. Link
6.1 Char Format
6.2 Key
6.3 Text
if suppose i am using the wrong button please tell me where i can find this "add" button.

How can I insert a parameter to the layout template?

How can I insert a parameter defined in report to the layout template? just like insert a field. I wanna display the parameter in the output.

If its Ebiz, concurrent program.
Put this in your template in the starting,
where the P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID is one of the concurrent program parameters,
<?param@begin:P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID?>
and then you can access the parameter in your rtf like <?$P_BUSINESS_GROUP_ID?>
Upload the rtf template back into apps.
and then rerun the conc pgm :)

Text in template for ECC 6.0

can i know how to enter a text in template in ECC 6.0

Its just the same you do it in 5.0.
Create a template ,in that create one line type (R1).
after that right click on template ->create text.
for this text give the name and under the Output Options TAB at the bottom you will c Output structure where you also will c Line and column ,just fill in the linetype( R1) nd the column no (eg 1 if it is the first cell ).

Report COOIS Field string text change

Dear all ,
I have found the report RCOTX000 to change the text in field string in order information sytem report , well I want to change some field label text in the report COOIS / COOISPI ,so I try with the help of RCOTX000 but it is not changing the field text . Is there any other setting required for this or there is no way for changing the field text ?

To add an additional field of text of 50 chrs in bseg & bsis

In trxn FB01 or F-02, we have a line item text of 50 chrs (sgtxt). We want to have one more field of text, of 50 chrs. Can i append structure in BSEG & BSIS & mount on the screen ??
Or is there any other way ??

I have similar error . I am gettting short dump .And it says
"Screen "SAPLKACB" 9999 could not be generated.
When I go look at that screen in ecc6 and try to do a syntax check, I get an error stating that field cobl-yystpi_ind is not in the data dictionary. The code is looking for this field but it is not there."
I checked COBL. cobl-yystpi_ind is there and it is active.
In oxk3 i can see the field cobl-yystpi_ind.
in oxk1 the subscreen 9999 is not there.
Is the dump b'coz of not adding subcreen thru oxk1.
Is that mandatory to maintain the subscreen in oxk1 which is using those fields which are added thru oxk3?
Its urgent and any help is appreciated and points will be rewarded.

Changing Field Labels texts: What happens after Upgrade?

Hi All,
my client would like to change some field label text of domains.
The question I have is, what will happen after change of release? Will the texts be overwritten? And all have to be maintained again?
Will I know which ones have been overwritten (SPAU)?
Any comment, suggestion, experience?

Hello,
Guess your question refers to field label texts of datatyps - because domains have only the technical data definition. Anyway - all modifications of Data Dictionary elements ( domains, datatyps, tables) are handled by transaction SPDD during upgrades. The difference to transaction SPAU is, that transaction SPDD is used during the upgrade - after the 'Test'-phase and before the 'Import'-phase.
Have a look on the documentation of SPDD- it's quite good.

Submit pdf form fields data as customized template

Is it possible to submit pdf form fields as a customized template?
when the form is submited, I want it to be emailed to me as text form and the form field data would be autopopulated into the text template.
Im not sure but is this how fdf works?
if so, how do i get my form to be submitted as fdf?

Here you go .....the 3 fields at the top are where you enter data. The allfields field is the field that creates your special format and teh submitted data field is what you woudl recieve in the email. Note that i changed th ebinding for the first three fields so that they are not included as separate items in the data file. This shoudl simplify what you recieve. I cam change the format of what is written to the allfields if you need a different distinction. In this example I hardcoded everything ....depending how many fields there are on yours i woudl use a different approach (using some complicated code) but the concept woudl be the same. I woudl find all of the fields on your form and loop through all of these objects in a for loop construct this will reduce th eamount of code dramatically and also allow you to modify the form to add or remove fields as you see fit without having to change the code.

Hi Swastik,
Your requirement is very much possible by Page Customization.
In Page Customization when you add the field for Hidden = yes
there are more attributes : Dimension Field , Dimension Field Type, Dimension Value
In this put
Dimension Field = DISPLAY_NAME
Dimension Field Type = Object Referance
Dimension Value = click search help to select your template.
Create this for each and every Template you reqiure to Hide the field.
Hope this solves your case.

User and login are mandatory: ask them to your team leader.
But i am not sure those notes are relevant for Enterprise Portal.
