Regarding integration aspect

Dear All ,
I have following queries :
I want to send some data from Third party system(in XML form) to SAP and some data to BIW .Again some master data will be sent from SAP to third party system .
My query is how to integrate SAP and BW with third party system .
BW will be used for generating reports .
Can any body suggest us some architecture for this ?

Dear Michal ,
I have seen these documents but I would like to know few things :
Scenario 1 :
1) If I integrate third party system with BIW using XI and integrate third party system with SAP(IS)using XI then how BIW will be linked to SAP for generating BIW reports
Scenario 2:
Here we are facing following problems in order to finalise the architecture:
1) Do we need to categorize the data in the third party system as to which data should go to BIW and which data should go to SAP(IS)
2)If we are not categorizing the data in the third party system then where I should temporarily store the data so that some data should go to BIW for generating reports and some data should go to SAP(IS)
3) Michal I would like to have some implementation methodology guidelines ......like steps to be followed from scratch

Hi Attiq,
When you create sales order in SD, all the details of the items are copied from Material master of MM.
2. MRP and availibility check related data is also taken from MM although you control this data in SD also.
3. While you create inbound/outbound delivery with reference to a sales order,the shipping point determination takes place with the help of the loading group, plant data, shipping conditions etc. This also refers to Material Master.
4. The material which you are entering in a sales order must be extended to the sales area of your sales order/customer otherwise you cannot transact with this material.

There are many such links between SD and MM.

ERROR REGARDING INTEGRATION SERVER

hai am k chandrakanth from bangalore a beginner in sap-xi,below am posting feew question s,kindly revert back with suitable answers with screen shots if possible(note: these are all the problems which am facing inmy PC)
1)during INTEGRATION SERVER CONFIGURATION thru SXMB_MONI
i got an error message "CORRRESPONDING INTEGRATION SERVER NOT MAINTAINED" on execution of the configuration.
2)When i select ROLE OF BUSINESS SYSTEM AS ->APPLICATION SYSTEM and
RELATED INTEGRATION SERVER -> (While assigning INTEGRATION SERVER)
i got an error :could not update the business system JAVA.LANG.NULLPOINTER EXCEPTIONS.
3)in SXI_CACHE t.code when i choose menu path ENVIRONMENT -> CACHE NOTIFICATIONS i got an error : UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE NAME OF THE CENTRAL ADAPTER ENGINE FROM THE SLD
4)during PERFORMANCE MONITORING
errors: A)APPLICATION ERRORS: INTEGRATION SERVER UNABLE TO FETCH DATA
B)ERROR CLASS:COM.SAP.AII.RWB.WEB.PERFORMANCEMONITORING.AGGREGATE.....
C) NO COMPONENTS AVAILABLE IN THE INTEGRATION SERVER...

Help required regarding Integrating Conversion Agent with SAP-XI

I want to run a simple File to File scenario which involves integrating conversion
agent. I gone through a webblog:Integrate SAP Conversion Agent by Itemfield with SAP XI
I deployed the module and I configured the channel in the same way what was specified in the webblog.
But when I run my scenario I found CM_TRANSFORMATION_ERROR as the error in communication channel monitoring.
Can u please provide me the solution for correcting the above error, this would be a great help for me..

Help regarding integrating BEx queries onto portal

Hi Friends,
CAn anyone please help me in the steps and process required to follow for integrating the bex queries into portal.
we have queries developed in bex analyser , the users want to access the reports via portal, for this to be acheived do we need to integrate or develope the report templates in WAD and then integrate into portal or we can directly integrate these bex queries onto portal, your response and help is highly solicited, many thanks in advance!

Assuming you are using BW 7 objects. If you are satisfied with the formatting provided by the standard template (see transaction spro thread SAP Netweaver / business intelligence / settings for reporting and analysis / BEx Web / set standard web templates and read the accompanying documentation) you don't have to create individual templates.
Simply create an iview of type Bex Web Application iView (sap netweaver 7 format) and specify "query=technical_name_of_query" as property value for the iview-property "Query-String Bex Web Application".
If you want to use individual templates the property value would be at least "template=yourtemplate" (if queryname is provided as dataprovider in the wad-template) or "template=yourtemplate&query=yourquery".

It would automatically generates Sender Agreement,Receiver Agreement,Receiver Determination,Interface Determination. It would shown to u Generation Log, here you can check what are the objects generated and if there are any errors it would shown Number of errors.
By setting the appropriate channel parameters, activate all objects from change list.Now u can able to test the sceanrio.
However in latest version it is not compulsoary to create Integration sceanrio in IR and to the above things.You can use Configuration Wizard to do all these things or you can do these mauvally.

Regarding Integration Model to CIF from ECC to APO

Please assist me in the following issues:
What will the impact if any material is ciffed twice or multiple times from ECC to APO through IM ...will it generate inconsistency ? if so, how we can avoid this ?
While I'm ciffing the material from ECC to APO through IM, the ' Find Master Data Object ' is showing certain number say 'X' but when I'm running CTM for it the explosion of BOM of Master Data is showing less number of material than 'X'...in that case what might be the possible issue ?
While generating IM , can I club Sale Order, Sale Order Stock, Planned Order, Prodn order under same variant ? or ill it generate inconsistency ?

Hi Michael,
1. It is not a problem. Is is quite common to CIF materials twice a days or even more. It shoul not generate inconsistencies.
2. You could have more materials than materials bith BOM. In other words, maybe not all your materials have a BOM.
3. Its recommended to have a separate integration model for your object.

Where can I find a documentation regarding integration of AdobeConnect with third party ?

Hi,
I would like to know what are the capabilities of Adobe Connect to be integrated with a third party website.
I have a elearning website and my basic requirement is to have adobe connect installed on our platform so the classroom sessions happen directly in the platform (cf our url should be in the browser).
Also, I was wondering if the classrooms can be organized automatically by the system, without human intervention ?
Please let me know where I can find the appropriate documentation, or whom I should contact to have the information. I am based in India.

You should be able to programmatically create rooms and link to content from a 3rd party system.

Query Regarding Integration Event

I have a scenario where i have to create an opportunity team based on the data that user enters in oppportunity and it has to be done when new record is saved in opportunity object.
We cannot use out of box workflow functionality in this scenario so in this case i have opted to use integration event in the workflow.
I have planeed to develop a windows service which will timelly read the INtegration Event queue and will fetch the lastEventID using INtegrationservice.
PLease let me know if this approach is correct or not.
I am also facing another isssue.
In one of my test application i am trying to fetch the last event ID using the integrationservice.I am hitting the particular event where my workflow is registered but still i am not able to get the lasteventId.
Please let me know if I am missing something

If all of your event cases will be the same except for the array constant, turn all of that inside a subVI and put it outside of your event structure. The idea here is that the event structure just passes out the data to send.

Could you let me know what is the process to move data from one box to another box.

Do we need rule files to build dimensions and load data in to essbase cubes from integration services.

you would export the models then metaoutlines from the one server, then import the models then metaoutlines into the target server. If you ahve a model or metaoutline with the same name already on the target server, you have to rename or delete them first.

Regarding Integration services start up issue

Hi all,
when iam trying to start the integration services from services panel its popped up with the fallowing error
ERROR:Windows could not start the analytic integration server on local computer for further information review system event log.If this is a non- microsoft service contact service vendorand refer service specific error code.
