Regarding Integration of all HTMLDB Applications

Hi all,
We have three apex applications, say 112,149,103.
Can we integrate all of them into single interface?
Such that users no need to give different paths for each application, i.e by giving single path we should access all three of them.
Any ideas most welcome.

Srini - A user enters (or issues) a request for a page in an application using the browser. The user can type the URL to the page into the browser's location window, the user can use a bookmark, or the user can click on a hyperlink situated in an HTML page.
Links on Application Express pages can be created using HTML in HTML regions or by using other page components that include HTML, by using list items, navbar entries, breadcrumbs, parent tabs, or dynamically generated output to the browser. Links can also be produced from report queries and of course, are the result of page branches. All of these techniques are fundamental in any developer's use of Application Express. The key thing to remember is to include the current session ID in any such links and in your situation, where you want to link to "other" applications, to specify the other application's ID as a hard-coded ID or alias and not as the usual &APP_ID. or equivalent.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click “iTunes Store” in the left navigation pane. Importing HTMLDB application through sql scripts

I have a question regarding importing application in HTML DB. We have developed an application in one of our instances and now we would like
to deploy the same in all other instances (around 180 instances). We will copy the schema objects through export / import from the backend (through a script). But to import the application, we need to logon to htmldb (from frontend ) and import it.
As we have to do it across 180 instances, its very difficult to do it after login to htmldb and import the application. We would like to know if we can import an application and workspace by running the sql scripts ( created by exporting application and workspace on source instance) in the sqlplus prompt.
In this regard could any one please let me know about the following things.
1. Can we directly run the sql's (which were created when we exported workspace and application) in the target database?.
2. If yes, from which user we should run this sql script (Presently we are using HTMLDB 2.0 version)
I have also noticed the following schemas are locked in the database.
FLOWS_020000
FLOWS_FILES
FLOWS_010500
3. Are there any extra steps which we need to do it after running the sql scripts in target instance.
4. Is there any way to delete the application and workspace from backend (i.e sqlplus) incase if we need to re-import the same application and workspace.
(This situation arises if we need to make any changes to the application after deploying it in the data center.)

Yes, you can.
1. Yes.
2. The workspace export files need to be run as the FLOWS_nnnnnn schema (depending on which version of HTML DB is the active one, you seem to have both 1.5 and 2.0 installed). Yes, you would need to unlock the account first to do this.
3. If your application needs external CSS or Javascript or image files, you need to copy those over using standard OS file copy tools
4. Importing a application using SQL*Plus deletes the existing application first so you are fine. You would never need to delete a workspace, a workspace is just a "shell", a container for all your applications.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that some of your applications are not appearing under Settings > Cellular on your iPhone so that you can restrict or allow use of cellular data. If you have some installed applications on your iPhone that are not showing here, the first troubleshooting step I would suggest would be to reset your iPhone. Please refer to the attached article for information on how to perform a reset.

All windows/applications keep minimizing on their own Windows 8.1

Hi. I turned on my laptop today and suddenly found that all my applications (Chrome, Skype, Norton, etc.) keep minimizing on their own approximately every 1-2 minutes. The mouse is constantly doing this twitch thing (it flickers every second and the little
loading circle comes up). It doesn't seem to be affected by typing, it occurs with and without keyboard/mouse interaction. I've installed nothing new that I'm aware about since last night, when this problem did not exist. I've manually turned off and turned
my laptop back on, I've restarted it, I tried to run a scan but Norton is being a pain (am currently running a quick scan). Usually whenever my computer is acting up (unusually slow), I just restart it and it's fine. But I've tried to restart/turn off and
on three times now and I can't find a fix.
This is on Windows 8.1 (please no Windows 7 exclusive answers. They're all I can find). I have not recently updated to Windows 8.1. I updated a few weeks ago (it was a forced update).
And I don't think I have ioBit.
Update: This thing called whiteskyservices (http://services.whiteskyservices.com/addons/chrome/install.aspx?id=eeihfhnbnfemlajfadhbpdfiipncebl) popped up asking for a Constant Guard update (I never update Constant Guard, it's horrible). I x'ed out and the
mouse flashing I mentioned has stopped, but the random minimizing has not.
Update: I tried to disable Superfetch, that didn't work either.
Update: Sometimes, it minimizes and then returns back to the window.
Update: My mouse has erratically begun doing the flickering thing again.

I can’t open and test the link you provide, please check. Share us a screenshot if you willing to.
Please explain a bit about the following questions to avoid misunderstanding:
1. Do you mean that the Windows 8 automatically upgrade to Windows 8.1 a few weeks ago?
2. Is this computer domain-based?
3. Does everything minimize on their own? Windows explorer, desktop apps and metro apps?
4. What is the result about the Norton scan?
Please take the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. As this is a laptop, please check if the mouse flickering caused by the touchpad. Please update the touchpad driver to the last version from the manufacturer website and check if this issue still exists.
2. Unplug the mouse and check if this issue still exists
3. Run the Anti-virus software to scan malware.

I have lost track of the number of websites which do not work properly on my iPad. They include retail sites, billing sites and most important of all job application sites. They all seem to require Adobe Flash Player which cannot be downloaded onto an iPad. Skyfire does not solve the problem. They all load without vital parts of the site such as tabs, links and correct formatting. Any suggestions?

Most such brower/service combinations have a difficult time working with Flash-based apps and often fail completely. Flash videos are usually the most successful content these browers can handle. You can try the others apps - Puffin, iSwifter, etc - but you may find that none of them work, in which case you will not be able to use your iPad with these sites other than by using one of the various remote control solutions to take over a computer running the full Flash Player.
IMHO, any developer that built a Flash application for a billing or job application site was an idiot, but I know that's out of the control of anyone but the relevant company.

Apps must be updated using the Apple ID used to originally download them to the device.
If you cannot or will not use the old Apple ID, then you can delete the app, and then download it again using the current Apple ID. Be aware that any paid apps will have to be purchased again.

Thanks for the links..
But I have already tried this.Will tell u what I have done..
1)Created DC of type EJB. Added "com.sap.exception" and "tc/wd/webdynpro" as Used DC. So at the design time I am able to get the IWDDeployableObject APIs.
2)Created DC for EAR. Added above EJB module and in the reference both the reference targets are mentioned. Out of which "com.sap.exception" is library reference while "tc/wd/webdynpro" is service reference..
Now when I build the projects, both are built. But at the time of deploymeny it throws an error :
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/tc/webdynpro/services/sal/deployment/api/IWDDeployableObject
So I think I should create another DC of type external libray add those required JAR filed... as EJB container might not able to understand webdynpro service references..
Is my understanding correct?

All the applications crasing

Hi,
All the applications like MS Office 2010, Office Communicator 2007/Adobe reader/Win Zip in 2500 systems are crashing when opening.
in all the sytems, Event log message indicates that the Windows Installer reconfigured all installed applications.
It was working fine till 19-Apr-14. Problem is happening from today.
Please help me to solve the issue.

If it is possible, the simplest way is to perform a system restore.
But if this is a domain environment, you may check this situation:

All Active Application Requests is empty

I have setup the Application Approval Workflow. I use 3 different servers one for SCOR one for SCSM and one for SM Datawarehouse. Everything appears to be set up correctly according to the AAW documentation.
Under All Applications in Configuration Items the applications are listed. Under Applications Associated with Application Requests there are No items found. Is this an association I need to create or should it list the Applications I have already
marked for requiring Approval in SCCM (2012 R2 CU3) ?
Also in SCSM under Work Items - All Active Application Requests there are No Items Found.
In SCOR if I run the Runbook Tester for Application Request Synchronization it goes from Monitor - Get Counter Value - Check init Start - Check Max - Increment Counter.
I suspect the items listed above are empty because this Runbook is not completing fully.
If I disable CheckMax and Increment Counter to force it to route to the Get IsActive counter it doesn't run past Check init Start.
So the Sychronize Application Requests counter is not getting run.
Hope this makes sense and any feedback appreciated.

Please try to manually sync the application requests under Work Items by clicking
Sync Now.
Please also check out the CM -> SM Synchronization Runbook and run through it once via Runbook Tester. This way you can get additional information for what particular application this activity failed. Then check what might be wrong with the application
on SCCM side.

How can i build a HTMLDB page only for dynamic sql queries like the features in the HTMLDB SQL-workshop.
I need a SQL interface for some power user running some ad-hoc queries.
Can i call this page directly from any other HTMLDB application?

Accessing HTMLDB application outside of firewall....

If I develop an HTMLDB application on my database server that is inside my corporate firewall, how do I have people outside the firewall access it. Do I need to open one or more ports on the firewall? Using the same situation, is it possible to access this application externally from a Portal page?

As already mentioned this issue is not really an Apex issue, but an issue between your webserver ports and your InfoSec firewall folks. You also want to consider whether the data is sensitive enough to warrant HTTPS with SSL encrypted traffic rather than straight HTTP. At our institution we generally require HTTPS for corporate data but since the encryption requires a lot of processing it affects your application server performance. We have gone to a BigIP switch for all our HTTPS public ports, then from BIgIP to the app server we are behind the firewall and run http. So the Public Portal URL is https to the BigIP which then negotiates with the App servers. Our Network BigIP engineer works out the fiewall rules with our InfoSec folks. This approach offloads all the encryption processing to a dedicated hardware switch rather than to the app server. BigIp also allows for additional rules that can be set up to force certain URLs to require a VPN, for example.

How do I close all running applications before launching my java app?

Does anyone know of anyway I can code to close all running applications, even if I don't know the process names to begin with?
Is there open source code than anyone has written to do this. Other applications interfere with my app and I need to terminate all running apps/processes before launching my app. Please advise.
