  • Regarding how download data from integration repository

    Hi all:
Could u pls tell me how download data from integration repository, eg, download data types, mapping under a software component as a local file?
Thank u very much for any ur help

    Hi jingying,
To download a TPZ file in ESR (Integration Repository), Go to Tools--> Export design objects
Step 1. (Select Source) Use the mode as Transport using File system & Check the checkbox for "Download File to Client"
Step 2. (Select Objects) In Object Set, choose according to your requirement, like Individual Objects to export only a data type or All Objects of Individual Namespaces etc.
Step 3. Click on finish Button
Step 4. Save the desired objects as a .tpz file on your local machine which can again be imported back on the ESR of any PI system.
Step 5. A pop-up "Export Successful" appears which confirms the export of the objects as a .tpz file. Click on Close button.
    I hope this helps.

    Hi Guys!
I'm getting this error when I try to tick and save the values "Objects Are Original Objects" and "Objects Are Modifiable" in a software component version in the Integration Repository:
"ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection(): com.sap.engine.services.dbpool.exceptions.BaseResourceException: SQLException thrown by the physical connection: com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException: Error while accessing secure store: File "

Would any of you know what might be wrong?
    I'm using PI 7.0.

Is your XI installed on SQL Server? Seems like there is a db connection error woth XI to the underlying database.
Check if the DB instance is running.

  • Modification Buttons not active in Integration Repository

    Hello,
we have a strange behaviour in Integration Repository. With java 1.3 on frontend all looks fine but with 1.6 modification buttons (text-preview...) for message-mapping objects (tab Design) are not active.
Does anybody know this issue? What can we do to sail round this problem?
    Thanks
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,
I faced the same issue some times back, when I upgraded java from 1.4  to 1.6 version.
So I had to disable all the java version later than java 1.4.2.
    Try this steps :-
    1. go to Control Panel - Java.
    2. In Java control panel , go to General tab.
In temprory internet files click View. Here delete all the entries related to Your XI link.
    3. In Java control panel, go to Java tab.
In java Applet Runtime Settings, click View. Uncheck all the version later than java 1.4.2.
In java Application Runtime Settings, click View. Uncheck all the version later than java 1.4.2.

  • Import of SAP Objects into Integration Repository in XI 3.0

    Hi all,
I am not able to import SAP objects into the Integration Repository in XI 3.0. This option is under any Software Component  Version. I have selected the radio button "Import of RFC and IDoc interfaces from SAP systems permitted", in the Software  Component Version settings. After the connection data is specified for the SAP system nothing appears under the IDoc, Whereas  the import of RFCs is successfull.
We also have another installation of SAP XI 3.0, here this option is working properly. Can anyone tell me what is the  problem, is is there something else to be configured inorder to do this.
    Best regards,
    Norway

    Hi Stephan
Thank you for your answer. We have followed your instructions but did only get half a success. Here is what we have done:
    1) Created "External Definitions" for all related xsd-files with the same name as the xsd-filename and in our own namespace. Our namespace is different from those specified in the xsd-files. We have not change the namespaces in the xsd-files.
    2) Maintained the "source"-field with the name for the xsd-file and not the url as specified in our answer. When we used the filename only we got a value the field "name" in the "External References".
    3) We made a message mapping and imported the "top-level-xsd-element" from the "External Definition". This resulted in only the top level element and nothing else. What we expected was the possibility to drill down through the complete structure.
What did we doe wrong? Perhaps I could talk you into spending 10 min. and try it your self? This url leads to a zip file with all the related xsd files: http://rep.oio.dk/ubl/xml/schemas/0p71/documentation/resources.html
Do you know if it will be possible to make references across namespaces in a later version of XI?

    hi,
go to http://<host>:<port>/index.html -->User Management log in using j2ee_admin
When you go into one of the tabs, there will a client entry . Just change.
You should able to do the same thing with UME provider service in the visual admin.
Please check Note 938980 if you are using VPN.
This is probably a Java Web-Start issue. Please check logon with other JWS versions. Also check if you have any conflicting JWS versions installed.
This is a checklist for logon errors:

Or, you can do it as mentioned below:
Integration builder is a fat client and the required java libraries are downloaded for the same from the server. Downloading of libraries only happen for the first time using the Java Web Start.
Sometimes there can occur problems while downloading theses libraries and error will show up as 'Unable to open Integration Builder'.Following is the checklist when this error occurs.
    1. Ensure that the required JDK is being used in the clent system
    2. Set the proxies to NONE in the Java Web Start by navigating
    Start>Programs>Java Web Start>File>Preferences-->Proxies
    3. Also check for the Host name & IP Address in the Hosts file under u201CC:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc hostsu201D

  • Integration Repository not registering in SLD

I have had a server released to me for final config, (PI7.0 SP10) but I am having some errors during final config/post installation steps.
    There errors are:

    Thrown:
    MESSAGE ID: com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException
    com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Cannot connect to Repository
I have checked the ExchangeProfile, SLD, Users are not lcoked.  I have looked into rep/support/public/index.html Log
407 12:54:13 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_188] ERROR com.sap.aii.ib.core.util.AbstractWebUtils: Internal error: Could not find SLD name for XI Application "RWB"

Basically, the Integration repository will not register in the SLD.
Any ideas?  I have run SXI_CACHE, and /CPACache/refresh?mode=full but this hasn't helped.  I have asked Basis to check all Applications are running in Deploy in the Java Visual ADmin.
Everything appears to have registered correctly.  I am loathe to use OSS Note 764176 as this is a Major component.

  • Duplicate software componentn in Integration Repository

    Hi Experts,
I have a scenario here in which I was trying to move my objects in Integration Repository from dev to prod by simply exporting it. I have done exporting all objects by choosing " All objects of Individual Namespaces ".
Now, my problem is when i successfully Imported my objects to production. It does not update the existing Software component version where my object is located, but instead, it creates a duplicate Software component containing the same Software component version and namespaces(old-running in production and newly created objects).
I haven't activated this yet, beacause I was trying to delete this, but whenever I try to delete what I have imported, it says that the old namespace would be affected since they have the same namespace in which this is already running in production.
Do you have any idea how can I delete what I have Imported, our Go-live would be next week. and also how will I export my objects in dev, without duplicating it in prd.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I hope you  can try " Reject Changes" if didn't activated the SWCV. Else for deletion, you can use below weblog.
    /people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/05/22/how-to-delete-software-component-from-integration-builder
Secondly have a look into below document for consistent changes for SWC while transporting,

  • User roles in Integration Repository

    Hi everybody,
does anybody have experience with user roles in XI 3.0? We want to limit access to various namespaces in the Integration Repository with use of these roles that can be created in the IR. That way, various XI developers working on the same XI-Repository should not be able to work in the namespaces of other developers.
We created the role in the IR and assigned it to a user in the J2EE Engine. But so far, it doesn't seem to work.
    Am I missing something??
    Thanks a lot,
    Francis Wolf

    Hi,
it looks like the integration to the "abap" backend (=IS-Server) is missing.
J2EE-R3 integration regards user management maps R3 roles onto J2EE user groups. Thus, if the term "role" is used in R3 context, it has to be translated to "user group" in J2EE.
    Next steps:
    1. Create user in "R3", with transaction SU01.
    2. In "R3", create a role with transaction PFCG
    3. UME Admin WebApp: assign role to user group
    4. XI Exchange Profile WebApp: activate data-dependent authorization checks. Put: com.sap.aii.util.server.auth.activation" in section "IntegrationBuilder.Repository" to true
Please check the documentation on Netweaver security and Integration of UME Roles with SAP Roles
    Hope that gives an idea!
    Good luck

  • Authorization Error in Integration Repository

    Hi,
I have authorization issues with Integration Repository(IR) in XI 7.0 Server. While logging into IR, i use the PISUPER id which works fine. But if i use other id it throws authorization error.
I am using client 710 and have created an id with relevant roles to login to IR which failed. Then i created same id on 001 client and could logon to IR with that id. This means that while logging into IR, it points to 001 client and not 710 that i am using. Thus i need to use 2 different ids: one for IR that points 001 client and other for logging into SAP system on 710 client.
I referred the below thread which tells the same.
    Authorization Error
Can someone explain me about this.
Also can i use the same id for logging to IR and SAP system?
    Regards,
    Chintan Sheth

    Hi,
    Thanks for replying.
Yes i know that users and roles are client dependent. But my problem is different.
I hav created a new client 710 which is copy of 001 client and also performed the post steps as per SAP Note 940309.
The problem i face is while logging to Integration Repository. I have id PISUPER on both the clients 001 and 710. But for logging to IR it accepts the logon credentials of 001 client and not of client 710. I understood this when i changed the password of PISUPER on client 710.
As per my knowledge, for logging to IR it should use the user master record of client 710.
    Kindly help me on this.
    Regards,
    Chintan Sheth

  • XI - Integration Repository

    Hi
I'm unable to import any Software Component Version from the SLD into the Integration Repository. I ran transaction SLDCHECK, and successfully launched the SLD without any errors.
However, when I try importing any software components from the SLD, the following error message is returned: Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory "sap02:50000"
    Can anyone help please?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Reuben.

    Hi,
    1. Check if the user XIAPPLUSER is locked
    2. Test connection for SAPSLDAPI & LCRSAPRFC in sm59
    3. Maintain the URL for SLD in transaction SLDAPICUST.
    Do SLDCHECK now.
    If this doesnt work
    1. Check if the user XILDUSER is locked. If not try to reset the password .If it is locked unlock it.
    2. Then, in the exchange Profile http://sap02:50000/exchangeProfile, go to Connection tab and enter the password of XILDUSER again.
