Regarding Interview part in E-Recruitment

Hi,
How is Interview part captured in E-Recruitment.
Say for example Interview time,date,location etc.
Where is the Interview Panel List defined.Is it captured in R/3 or is it done in Portal part?

e-recruiting has no time schedule functionality to list all your interviews or offer the posibility to plan ressource e.g. the number of candidates already invited to a accessment center which has a max capacy of 20.
The only current possibility is the application "my planned activities" where you can display all activities of type "Interview". If I remember correctly you can also choose the invitation date for this activity category.

Issue regarding RG23A Part -II

hi Expert,
i am getting problem in updation of RG23A Part -II, while doing MIGO Part - I register is getting updated but CENVAT credit document is not generating and also it is not updating Part - II.
My scenerio is like that BED - 16%
                                   AED - 4%
                                   SED - 2%
when creation of MIGO if base value is 20000 Rs. then system passes accounting entry like this
Inventroy     Dr. 24000 RS.
GR/IR         Cr. 24000 RS.
which is wrong actually it should generate entry like
Inventroy                      Dr. 20000 Rs.
BED A/c                      Dr.   3200 Rs.
AED A/c                      Dr.     800 Rs.
SED A/c                      Dr.     400 Rs.
GR/IR                          Cr. 20000 Rs.
CENVAT Clr. A/c          Cr. 4400 Rs.
please give advise to sort out this problem and also tell me what is the T. code to see RG23 A part - I & Part - II.

Hi,
Go to J1iex and capture Excise. Accounting entry as required by you will get generated then.

Role of MRP Indicator regarding Excise Part in GR or in J1IEX

Dear All,
Pleae let me know which is little bit confusing among the user .Actually when we do the GR & capturing the excise part but when we click the check on MRP indicator and what are the role of MRP indicator .
Also standars system makes the excise flow from GR to excise posting in J1IEX & then in MIRO but some of time it won't flow in MIRO then we kamke it flown through Condition type.
We want it shoud flow for the excise from excise posting to MIRO whether respective condition types are maintained or not in PO but it must flow the excise whatever entered in GR time & finally posted in J1IEX..
Please share your views...

when we click the check on MRP indicator and what are the role of MRP indicator .
see when you having a trading po in that case you dont know what will be the duty you get fron trader in that case you have to mark MRP indicator while caturing invoice on miscellaneous tab ,in that cas ewe can use it but for that we have to maitan tax code with excise value in po
ex
in po basic valu is 100
BED-10
cess-2
hcess-1
when yo get invoice from trader he give you duty
po basic value is 100
bed-12
cess-2.5
hcess-1.5
in that case we have to change it manuaaly in migo or J1EXI

A new question regarding installing part 2 on a Mac...

I've been reading posts here to see if I can find out why Part 2 of BrowserLab won't install on my Mac (running OS10.6.2) without any luck. I have installed and confirmed Extension Manager 2.1.115. There is no version number under 'get info' for the service manager. But when I renamed ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager and tried to install I received an error message saying "A newer version of CSI is needed. Please install CSI greater than of equal to '1.0.1'." Are the CSI and the service manager the same thing? And i so, how do I update it? Thanks, Tom

You'll first need to install the Extension manager 2.1 patch. Then you'll need to update CSI to CSI.1.0.2 in order to installed the extensions in Snow Leopard.
To use the BrowserLab extensions for Dreamweaver CS4 with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard):
If you are installing BrowserLab extensions on Snow Leopard for the first time:
Install Dreamweaver CS4
Install the Extension Manager CS4 2.1 patch (available here: http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/) and CSI 1.0.2 patch from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4568
Follow prompts to install Browser Lab Extensions
It sounds like you have the Extension Manager 2.1 patch installed, but since you renamed the CS4ServiceManager the BrowserLab extension installation is giving you an error because it can't find CSI. So I think you want to rename CS4ServiceManager back to its original name, then run the CSI 1.0.2 patch, then try installing the BrowserLab Extensions.

-->A table at least should have join with any other table, mostly in BMM
2.can we write outer join in physical layer
--> Defined in BMM layer only
3.what are the log levels 1,2,3 ?
-->1-> 1: Logs the SQL statement
2->1+: for each query, logs the repository name, business model name, presentation catalog etc
3->2+:adds a log entry for the logical query plan

How are Interview assessment comments and status of the interviews maintained in E-Recruiting?

Hi,
Interview remarks can be tracked by way of creating an activity. For ex: A questionnnaire activity can be used for this purpose wherein the Recruiter assigns a questionnnaire activity to the linemanager which is a part of the support team asking feedback on the candidates performance.
The questionnnaire can be configured with the scales as required with ratings. For ex - very much suitable, Suitable , Less suitable, rejected or with Input area for the linemenager (whoever does the interview) to enter comments on the candidates performace and complete the questionnnaire.
On completion of the questionnaire, the recruiter would be able to view the questionnnaire against the activity which he had earlier created and assigned to line manager

Hi Gary,
The E-Recruitment package is completely separate from ESS. While the standard ESS package contains an area (Career and Job) that can point to E-Recruitment functionality, it does not include this functionality by itself.
To answer your question, neither ESS nor E-Recruitment necessarily need each other to be there first, but because of the advantages of running SAP products together, it would be most efficient to have your HCM implementation (with or without ESS) up first before implementing E-Recruitment in order to maximize your efficiency of people data management.

I have requirement where hiring managers be able to access candidacy files. This is for all the candidates who have applied for this job. I know that managers can access shortlisted candidates in MSS, but my customer want HM to access all candidates who applied.
Is this possible, without HM getting recruiter role.

some time is passed since this question was opened. But perhaps it is still of interest for you or someone else reading here.
There is a BAdI HRRCF00_SHORTLIST for MSS which defines the candidacies displayed for the manager. In the implementation delivered by sap only the candidacies are displayed which are in status in Process, which belong to a requisition the manager is part of the recruiting team and the recruiter has send at least one questionaire to the manager. By replacing this implementation by a customer one you should be able to display all candidacies for the requisition.

Table Name for Text in E Recruitment

Hi All,
I am working on E Recruitment and I have an issue with the table names. I have created created various activity types of which I is Interview feedback. The recruiter will initiate an approval process so that the panel can provide their feed back. The panel has an option to approve or reject the candidate and they can also update a note.
This approval and rejection of the candidate is available in Table HRP 5143. But the note entered by the panel is not available.
Can anyone help me from where I can get the note entered.

I am not sure of your EREC version but if EHP4/5, you can check in class CL_HRRCF_ACTIVITY_MGMT_PL method READ_OVERALL_CNF_ACT or READ_INDIV_CNF_ACT. For example in READ_INDIV_CNF_ACT you can see
*--   NOTE_TXT
      IF NOT ls_record-note IS INITIAL.
        CALL METHOD lo_activity->read_text
          IMPORTING
            text = es_activity-note_txt.
      ENDIF.
which is used to retrive the note when you display the activity. It already uses the filedname as "NOTE" which is the docid. You could use the same logic to get the notes by using these methods through your report.

You're making one big thinking fault here. The JOptionPane runs on the same server machine as where this Java code is executed, not on the client machine.
On other hand, be very careful with those Roseindia.net articles. A lot of them aren't as accurate as it should be and contains bad code examples.
Read Sun's JSF documentations and/or buy a real JSF book.

Web part permissions sharepoint 2013

I have an issue regarding web parts and whom can see these.
I would like to have a web part showed on a site with a view that only a certain group of people can see. I know it was possible with sharepoint 2010 to limit the acces to a web part, but i dont know wether it is possible with sharepoint foundation?
