Regarding "iTunes": I adjust the audio properties via the speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of my monitor, tried to update audio driver's (Realtek, Microsoft, HP), adjust the equalizer in "iTunes", and the volume on my PC's speaker's - ("Cyber Acoustics", model # CA2022R, (24) watts), but I think there is either an issue with the audio buffer in "iTunes" with playing the Radio feature, I hear it glittiching, like skipping, or my sound card, which I can't seem to find any info on, on my computer, to do research on & whether to upgrade or (?). Sigh . . . Sure, I wanna eventually get speaker's higher wattage, with no subwoofer; I don't want a 3rd box, just (2) speakers with say, (60) or more wattage, but to prevent viberation's on the floor/on the ceiling of the apt. under me, I need to bolt or (?) the speaker's onto some kind of (regular) thin, strong pole stand's, to minimize viberation's on the floor/on the ceiling of the apt. under me. This question is for both the uncredited (private) courses and the bigger accredited accounts.    I am a developer trying to learn how to help my area schools and also have some ideas for my own courses.    Obviously keeping within the iTunes U app would be preferred in most cases (to the learning experience) since they can take notes and see them within the app itself.
If the reply comes from a non-apple employee please let me know (or better yet, link to) where that is clarified.   I would hate to develop something just to later find out it is against the apple iTunes U agreement.

And, to be even more fair, I have to tell you that I get that every single day. And it's getting worse (or better, depending on how you look at it).
I always try to let people know it's a long way until you get to a confortable point, a point where you can create something. And that's exactly what I am trying to do, or at least asking how/if I should do it. And then I let them know where to start. That's what I want.

Thanks for the question. Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like your device is not detected in iTunes for Windows. The following resource may help resolve this issue:

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

Very bad sounding noise.

Today I turned my computer on and was greeted with a very bad-sounding noise coming from the top-left of the computer, right under the escape key. It sounds like a motor running, but i've never heard it before. Just to clarify, this is a macbook pro with the click button.

To get your serial number click the apple in the top left corner of the menubar. then click about this mac. Then click the button that says more info. your serial number should be listed there!
FYI - that definitely sounds like a bad fan, Ive had the same problem before!

What it's telling you is correct. Gift cards are valid only in the country in which the card was issued. You cannot use an iTunes card issued in the UK in a US iTunes Store account. Give or sell the card to someone who can use it in the UK.

HT1925 during reinstall I get an error message regarding itunes.msi file.

I have uninstalled itunes according to these instrutions, but during reinstall I still get an arror message regarding itunes.msi file. How do I fix this?

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

Itune sound is stopping itself then come back

I use Itune 8.1.. on a apple macbock with XP pro.
had no problem till today
did not change my configuration, no update, no new programs
When I use itune, the sound is malking some "tic" "blick".. like on a old tape or disc (or intersideral "zic" there is 3 or 4 diferent noise).
After some sec or min after one of these sound, the itune sound stop but the song continue to play. the small noise are still there but no music
If I pause the song and push agin on play it's ok, If I start a new song it's ok.. some sec and no sound one more time. song are dowloaded from Itune or compressed from CD.
The same with only flu radio.
same for podcast .
It appen local on my computer and remote on airtune as well.
Windows media player and VLC are ok
I did try to
-Repare itune
-Uninstal itune and quick time
-Uninstall and erase all folder and regedit I found
-uninstall and reinstall via apple update
-restore to yesterday
-uninstall then reinstal itune 8.0 (not passible to open because of the data -library newer) then reinstall 8.1
Still the same..
Is somebody as a solution for me without formating my computer?

Some news from my probleme and strange news..
Today at the ofice, no probleme with my itune..
The only difference is the network. mostly the same configuration : same router with 1 or several airtune conected.
Back here, my problem is back !!! if I desactive the conction.. no probleme !!!
Did try to conect on the airtune or the main wifi router on wich the airtune is connected and probleme on the 2 when conected..
Wil try tomorow to shut down one and after the other.
Do you have a idee of this strange probleme?

Since you don't say how old your iMac is, have you cleaned out the dust? Dust buildup can lead to over heating issues. Remove any and all things plugged into it including the power cord, Remove the RAM access grille. Vacuum all openings starting with the RAM access area (air intake). Vacuum all ports and plugs, DVD slot and the opening across the top of the rear of the body. Blow compressed air through all your openings and vacuum again to remove any dust you loosend. Reinstall the RAM grille. Plug in the keyboard and mouse if not blue tooth. Insert power cord...
You are now in a perfect position to do a

ITunes Sound

My iTunes sound isn't working. It says it's playing the songs, but no sound is coming out. The weird thing is my speakers work otherwise, like when I'm watching a movie. It's only iTunes that's messed up. It stopped working when I tried to download a program that would transfer my music from my iPod to iTunes (which didn't work). But after I tried that is when it stopped playing my music. PLEASE HELP!!!

Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete. Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if you now have audio.
