Regarding Last Changed On in SU01( CUA Systems )

Hi,
In our CUA( I mean parent. ) systems, the Last Changed On in SU01 is not getting updated properly.
It gets updated properly, only when one changes the logon data.
This fact & the value for Last Changed On are telling, the source for Last Changed On is UsH02. But in case of child systems, it is Usr04( If I am not wrong. ).
So ultimately Ush02 is not getting updated to provide the right value for Last Changed On & Usr04 is getting updated properly, but the program is not reading it.
Can you please tell me, what has to be done? Thanks in advance.
Please let me know if you need more information.

  • Last changed date different between two systems after transport

Hi, first of all, I am not from basis background and just want to make sure whether is this something correct or not.
I found that the "Last changed date" and "username" are not same between the original system and the target system. Is this something configurable?
And the "username" field is totally empty. However, the program code's version is identical in both systems.

I think I misunderstood your question.  You are referring to the system Transports not the connections between systems.  If the Transports are not transferring all the contents, you really should talk to your basis folks and tell them which items are not being reproduced correctly.

  • Regarding CUA System

    hi guys,
we are planning to Connect CUA system with IDM and execute Initial load to collect users, roles, groups,  assignment of roles to users, groups to users.....etc.
Now I believe IDM will have all the info including CUA system Users, Groups etc  and Other child ABAP systems Users, Groups.
    1) Later if we remove CUA from IDM and if Child systems directly connected with IDM(Executed Initial load), the Old CUA System Local users and Groups will be removed?
2)How the rules in CUA system can be transferred to IDM system.
(do we need to Create the CUA system rules again in IDM freshly again??)

  • SMQS: when is time stamp in the "last change by" changed?

    Dear Gurus,
Recently we are encountering issues in our OUTBOUND queue of ECC. In a certain time queues pile-up to almost 2K and are in status READY.
    *Integration is ECC <-> APO
To understand if its a QRFC issue or a Overloaded WorkProcesses, we need to isolate each case.
First we assumed that the reason of having the READY status are:
    1. due to the change in TYPE of the queue name (APO system) from R to U or vice versa
    2. due to the change in STATUS of the queue name
What we would like to know is, what does the time stamp consider upon updating?
    Are those assumptions above correct?
Also the User ID seems not being updated.
I asked the user indicated in the "last change by" if he did some change, but responded that he is not performing any change in the QRFC for the past few days. But it shows his name and current time stamp.
    thanks and regards!
    Zeek

Dear Babu, really appreciate your response on this.
Unfortunately, when i look into SMQS the APO system queue was already set to R. Upon checking the "last change by" (double clicking on the TYPE) i see that the time stamp was at current date and time.
And the only thing that can help us catch who/what is the cuplrit (user/background process), is to understand what are the factors that the time stamp in "last change by" considers. Also the user indicated in it, was saying he hasn't performed any changes that day... What bothers us is that it might be a background process as the time stamp keeps changing every time... Usually, for what i noticed, the time stamp there only register the date and time when our system had the support pack updated. but recently, it is showing that its been changing every day.
Moreover, our basis folk just assumes that the time stamp considers both the update in TYPE and as well as the change in STATUS. He is saying that the change in activity (when ECC transfers data to APO) is the reason behind the change in time stamp. For us to prove it, we checked on /SAPAPO/CC and saw that the last update of CIF/Any changes in ECC is similar to the one in SMQS last change, so it is not a valid reason, though the time is quite near what SMQS says.
So what we need to understand is that, was it really the CIF/any updates in Orders going to APO does trigger the time stamp change in SMQS "last change by"?
    thanks!
    Zeek

  • Changing workbook header   in QA system

    hi all,
if i can change my workbook header  in QA sytem rather going to dev sys and retransporting again.
Changes to workbook are effective or not.
    regards,
    veera

    hi Veera,
yes you can change your workbook header in your qa system, beside sufficient authorization as mentioned by Deepu, you may need to open the changeability of workbooks in qa system, you can do this with rsa1->transport connection->there is icon truck with 'object changeability' in right top, click it and in next screen go to last row, object type 'XLWB' - workbook, by double clicking the 'not changeable' or 'changeable original' it will switch between changeable and not.
talking effective or not, in some cases, it's a normal practice to create/change workbook in qa/production system, please be remind that when you transport from dev it will be replaced again with the dev header.
    hope this helps.

  • Objects last change and history of task/method usage

    Dear all,
I'd like to find out the last modifcation date and also the user who did it. Do you know if there is a possibility to display the user and also the date of the last change within UCWB for instance for task or method change?
The task/method settings in SEM-BCS are time dependent: Do you have any idea if it's possible to see the time frame in which a method is in use?
    Example:
I've assined method M1 to task A in period 01/2009. Since 01/2010 method M1 is not any longer in use and was substituted by method M2.
Is there any report, transaction, table or option to check this constellation? At the moment, I've always to change the parameters in order to find out differences, but this is not very comfortable.
I thought that if I change a task for a period that then this change will become effective for all following periods. But this is not the case. Is this system behaviour correct? For instance, customize a task in period 01/2009 and afterwards the same task in period 01/2008. Settings in period 01/2009 remain the same.
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Best Regards,

    Hi Daniel,
Is there any report, transaction, table or option to check this constellation?
    - none that I'm aware of.
I thought that if I change a task for a period that then this change will become effective for all following periods. But this is not the case. Is this system behaviour correct? For instance, customize a task in period 01/2009 and afterwards the same task in period 01/2008. Settings in period 01/2009 remain the same.
    - it's the real system behaviour. When you do everything consequently (by time) - everything is ok. But, if you change something in the past periods and do not repost all entries afterwards- expect the trouble. Though, even reposting may not correct the situation - because of the SAP's time dependency treatment.

  • Scc4 last change record

    Hello Experts,
Does SAP system keep track of all the changes to scc4 settings? Or just the last change is shown in scc4?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Pascal Gabin

    Hi Pascal,
I am not too sure about what changes you exactly are looking to see.
Yes it does keep a log of all changes that are performed.
However if it is creation of clients then needless to say all clients which are created are listed.
If you want to view changes then there is an option
Utilities->Change Logs in which you can select the client and the duration period and it will reflect all the changes made if any.
Hope this is what you were looking for.

  • You cannot logon (CUA system assignment missing)

I request the access to HU2,... systems, but when I tried to logon via GUI, got the error message - You Cannot logon (CUA system assignment missing).
I tried Web GUI, it tells me that user name and password not valid,...
    Any clue?
    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Dear Andrew!
Sorry for delay reply, I hope your problem has been solved till now. Anyhow my reply may help to other guys.
Sometime this error will appear after System copy/migration or technical upgrade.
Suppose that xyz user face an error "You cannot logon (CUA system assignment missing)" during login attempt after system copy/migration or system upgrade.
    Solution:
Login as sap* user and reset xyz user password in su01. New password length of xyz should be at least 14 to 15 characters. If you are unable to login as sap* then reset sap* user with database utility in usr02 table and remove parameter u201Clogin/no_automatic_user_sapstaru201D from profile if active. Login as xyz user and insert new password with any length at new password windows.
After successful login of xyz user, do the same practice for all users who are facing the same problem.
    Regards.
    Yasir.

  • CG02 Date of Last Change to Specification As a Whole

Date of Last Change to Specification As a Whole
Specification (CG02) Administration Data (at the specification header)
reports Whole Specification changed by and changed on.
Performance Assistant (Help) on Whole Specification Changed On reports:
Date of Last Change to Specification As a Whole
Key date on which the specification was last changed.
Except for changes to the header data, the system takes all data that
relates to the specification into account, such as changes to:
    Identifiers
    Assignments of regulatory lists
    Value assignments
    Components
    User-defined texts
    Notes
The key date is specified when the specification workbench is started.
    It
is not necessarily the same as the current date.
To determine the date of the last change to the specification in a
customer-defined program you can read out the specification time stamp
using function module EHSB_TMSTMB_READ_TIMESTAMPS, or you can follow
    the
    instructions in SAP note 874191.
The date of the last change to the specification is always set to the
    key
date on which the specification was last processed. This is not always
the date of the last change to the specification (see SAP Note 874191).
We are not able to 1) find SAP Note 874191 or function module
    EHSB_TMSTMB_READ_TIMESTAMPS

    Dear Richard
you topic is quite old. Many SAP EHS users do have problems with this. This content in EHS gives rise to a lot of trouble with the end users (according to my experience) especially in the context of "change docs" etc.
    Check may be as well:
    EHSB_TMSTMP_READ_TIMESTAMPS - Function - ABAP - SAP
    Check as well:

Any suggestions for handling this problem??
    Best Regards
    Tom Svarre

The text you enter in the dispatcher script after JAVAOPTIONS= is passed on as one parameter to the java executable. When you set JAVAOPTIONS=-Xmx256M -Xmx256M the effect is like the commandline java "-Xmx256M -Xms256M" java interprets this as an illegal heap size and refuses to start.
If you want to specify more than one javaoption, you also have to set MXDISPATCHER_EXECSTRING=1
This option causes the dispatcher to pass the arguments to the java executable as one string instead of split into separate parameters.
The reason this option is not turned on by default, is that this can cause problems with paths and parameters containing special characters that causes the command line interpreter to fail.
In your case, only specifyng the -Xmx is probably the best solution. Specifying -Xms will cause heavier load on the system also for jobs thatdoes not need a large heap.

  • Support message and change requests only for production system

    Hi guys,
I would like to connect the solman helpesk with CHARM ( CHARM is still running ).
In CHARM I have to create a CR only for production system. ( don't know why - but works as designed).
In SAP helpdesk I can create support messages for every kind of system type but if I want to connect both (HD and CR) , the source system (ibase component) of the issue will copied to the CR and runs in error because of the rule (only p-system) of CHARM.
Of course I can change the ibase to production system manually in SDCR but it seems a very error-prone method.
Now my question: is it possible to change the ibase component due to the creation of CR by copy rule or something like this?
    Kind regards
    Rayko

    Hi Rayko,
We do not have this option.
Once in ChaRM, we assume that the changes will always correct an issue in the PROD system.
I would recommend to open the tickets directly with the PROD system IBase, once the issue is also happening there.
    Best Regards,
    Fernando
