Regarding "Life on Earth",  keep getting msg. 'Unable to Download'

Regarding "Life on Earth", downloaded it now every time  I open up IBooks I get the msg. 'Unable to Download " E.O. Wilson's Life on Earth"  Retry or download later from the store' .  I have a couple of times. also deleted and reloaded Ibooks? Taken it out of by books inventory but still get msg.

I had some trouble along those lines when I downloaded that free book on iBook2.  It is a very LARGE file that takes some time to download. Could be the server is busy or overloaded. Also, if I recall that when I first downloaded it and then it LOOKED like it had finished downloading...it hadn't yet.  The cue is when the book is finally ready to use, a "NEW" banner appears on its cover in iBooks. I don't know if that helps at all. Good luck.

    i do understand that.  if you purchased the music on the phone.  its still available to you.  if you go in itunes on your computer.  go to purchases.  there should be all the music you have purchased.  there you can download the song if it isn't already and then sync it to your phone which will add the song to the phone.  have you tried to power off phone and then try to download again.   the itunes way is just another option.

    It seems that Captivate is not downloaded completely. Only one file is downloaded(i.e. .exe) , .7z file is missing.  You can follow the below instructions to download Captivate 7 via direct links.
    In order to download Adobe Captivate 7.0 Windows English, open the link mentioned below and sign in with your Adobe ID and password.

    Once you sign In with your Adobe Id and password, you will be redirected to Adobe Captivate 7.0 download page, Do not click on download. Kindly stay on that page and paste the below two links on the Trail Page Address Bar  one by one and save the files on your system at same location:

    At some point, your internal HD was selected for use as Time Machine backups, and a Backups.backupdb folder was created at the top level.   So OSX thinks you're trying to install it on the same drive as your backups.
    Open your internal HD with the Finder (you won't find it via a Spotlight or Finder search) and delete that folder.

    I removed the sim card, reset the phone by simultaneously pressing the power and the home keys then turned off wifi. Put the sim card back in, it asked for the Apple ID password and I just hit cancel and the phone worked fine after that. Come on Apple, get your stuff together.
