    Hi All,
Can anybody give some help in finding wht actually happens when we create a message interface.
means in which format information entered in Message Interface gets stored.
where this object gets stored and how we can retirve information for this.
    Best Regards,

  • Regarding Message Interfaces

    Hi Guys,
I am new to SAP XI. Only thing I know is Message Interfaces are very key role to play in SAPXI. In case of any IDOC Are BAPI you can directly import them to I.R as interface objects. for example there are lots of IDOCS Available like BATMAS, MATMAS, ORDERS, CREMAS, there is lot of confusion on this what information this IDOCS contain how can we Know that particular IDOC contains the information Meeting our requirement.  In case I am integrating MM Module Are SD module with SAP what interfaces I need to use  pls any one explain me with clear scenario. and also pls help with some realtime docs so I can understand the things better. Thanks in advance.
    Regard's
    Kiran.B

    Hi Kiran,
There is no confusion about IDOCs.  The requirement  shows the what type of IDOC u want to used.
The XI guys will take care of the Import the IDOC from particular R/3 system.
Like same RFC Function Modules also..
When ever we used IDOC we need configured setting in R/3 & XI Systems.
    __Configured steps in  R/3 System:__
    1) RFC Destination-- SM59
        --> Create the RFC Destination
--->Crate the RFC Destination type 3(R/3 system)
---> specify the server address of the Integration server as target hosts
    2) Port----WE21
_---->Create the port for transaction RFC
    > Enter the RFC Destination
    3) Partner Profiles--WE20
Configure the steps in XI System:
    1) Create the RFC destination (SM59)
    2) Create the IDOC port into IDOC adapter(IDX1)
    3) Load the meta data of IDOC into IDOC Port(IDX2)

  • Regarding message interfaces in JDBC implementation

    Hi Bhavesh,
I have been trying to implement the jDBC scenario as mentioned by you in the blog "JDBC Receiver Adapter -- Synchronous Select – Step by Step",could you please help me out with interfaces(how many interfaces do we need on the whole).
    Regards
    Madhu

    Madhu,
Please refrain from directing questions to someone in particular. There are lots of XI experts around here who can surely help and directing questions to one person is going to discourage others from answering .
Answering your question~~ refer into this blog by Arpit and use the same concepts as he has described for File - RFC - File. The only difference will be in the datatypes and message types,

  • I am not viewing message interface for sender service in sender agreement

    Hi Experts,
Right now we have one interface setup in XI for sending the data to three customers using BPMs.
Now i want to add to one more customer in to current xi setup and send the data.
so i have created all the types like message type, message interface and interface mapping.
Already i have scenario in ID i have created Comm channles.
so when i create sender agreement i am unable to find message Interface which i have created in IR for sender business service.
I have not created new scenario but using the same scenario.
Kindly help me out from this.
    Appreciate for your response.
    Thanks,
    Bhasker

    Hi,
Make sure to add the inbound and outbound message interfaces in the Business Service so that they will be available in Sender Agreement.
    Hope this helps.

  • Web services with message interface

    Hi;
    I have  questions.Can anybody help me ?
First; I created web service with function group, function module, bapi.
But I don't use message interface for endpoint type and I don't know how to use it.
I don't know mean of message interface. Can you send me documan or example for this topic.
Second; I don't know security of web services.

    Hi,
You can create webservice for message interfaces as same as you created for FM, BAPI...
Here you need to mention the message interface  name for which you need to create webservice..
To know about Security ...please refer the below link..

  • Removing Message Interface From Business Service

    Hi Experts,
I want to remove one message interface from the Business Service. But, am not able to do so from ID.
Can anyone tell me how can this be done?
    Thanks,
    Sushama

    hi,
    >>>Business Service. But, am not able to do so from ID.
if you're talking about business service (not business system)
then just select the message interface and press the minus sign
    that's all
if this is not possible you may not have sufficient authorization

  • Exposing mutiple outbound message interface as a single Web service

    Hi all,
My Scenario is SOAP <--> PI 7.0 <---> SAP R/3 (Proxy communication). A third party portal will communicate 24/7 online with SAP R/3 via PI 7.0. I have to expose all the outbound message interfaces as a single webservice, so that the third party portal will consume that web service and will communicate to SAP R/3. The communication between Portal and PI 7.0 will be SOAP and from PI to SAP R/3 as proxy communication. I can able to expose a each outbound message interface as a webservice individually i.e each message interface gets separate WSDL file. But the portal people asking me to generate single WSDL (web service) in which all the message interfaces should be included as operations. Could you please send me the information, how to generate a single web service for all the message interfaces?
I have gone through the entire SDN community, but could nt able to get the information. If anybody worked on similer issue , please guide me to approach to get the solution.
    Regards
    Vijayanand Poreddy

    Hi,
It is possible to expose all operation using one endpoint by overwritting the default interface name and interface namespace in one "generic" soap sender CC. To achieve it, you need to set the following options Use Encoded Headers and Use Query String in your sender CC.
Unfortunatelly, there is one drowback of this approach. Before portal will send the request, it has to concatenate the generic endpoint:
    http://<host>:<j2ee-port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=<party>:<service>:<channel>
    with URL encoded interface information:
    &version=3.0&Interface=http%3A%2F%2Fsap.com%2Ftest%5ETest
    for each operations.
For more detail ref these docs:
[How To… Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d23cbe11-0d01-0010-5287-873a22024f79]

I guess that in PI 7.1 this disadvantage will be enhanced.

  • Message Interface in XI as Web-Service

    Hi,
I should create one web-service from message interface. This web-service should be message-literal web service(not sure what that means) and mapped to an IDOC. Is it possible and how to do that?
    thx

    Hello mslopar,
You need to use XSLT mapping to acheiev this. Here is a blog and sample code to convert XML to string.
    Use this xslt:
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
      <xsl:output method="xml" omit-xml-declaration="yes"/>
      <xsl:template match="*">
      <xsl:copy-of select="." />
      </xsl:template>
      </xsl:stylesheet>
take the help of this blog..

  • Creation of Server Proxy for  Message interface with External Defination

    Dear All,
I am getting a problem while generating a server proxy for the inbound interface . The request message used in the inbound interface is a external definition which is uploaded using a XSD file. The XSD file was supplied by a third party which is having very high complex strucuture and used lot of abstract data types in the design. When i tried to generate the proxy in the R/3 system (Transaction SPROXY) for the inbound interface i am getting following error.
Interface uses external and internal message definitions
    Message no. SPRX122 *
    Diagnosis
In a message interface you can use messages from different sources:
Message types and fault message types edited in the Enterprise Services Repository
Messages imported into the Enterprise Services Repository (external definitions, RFC, IDoc)
In the current message interface, message types from different sources have been used. Since messages from these different sources must be handled differently during proxy generation, such a mixture of messages within a message interface is not possible.
    System Response
    The interface cannot be generated.
    Procedure
Change the interface definition accordingly in the Enterprise Services Repository.
Please guide me, how to generate the proxy for the interface with external defination message. I could nt geneate manullay, because it is having very high complexity and its a big structure.
Is there is any way to generate the proxy for interface with external definition
    Regards
    Vijayanand

    Hi,
    i.       Import your message schemas from external definitions, or RFCs or IDocs from SAP systems. These definitions already contain data types.
ii.       Create a message interface and reference the messages of the external definition, or the RFC or IDoc message.
Check this, it may help you

  • Generate Message Interface for SOAP Adapter

    Hi All,
I want to implement a scenario like this:
ABAP System -> RFC Adapter -> XI -> SOAP Adapter -> Web Service
Currently the WSDL of the web service is known. It is http://www.abysal.com/soap/AbysalEmail.wsdl
How can I generate the inbound message interface in XI according to the WSDL?
    Thanks
    Jerome

    Hi Jerome,
Import the WSDL as an external definition and then you can create a inbound Message interface based on that external definition.

  • Best way to capture a SOAP response into a different message interface

    Hi
I have created a Synchronous File to SOAP scenario in which I need to map the SOAP response back to an RFC Function Module instead of the File Message Interface.
Please can you let me know what the best method is to do this because I am not able to to use the RFC FM as the input message inside the synchronouse File Message Interface.
    Thank you,
    Brendon

    Hi,
if u are using request response bean and response one way bean at sender file adapter please do the following .
    1. create the sender file adapter. and at module tab used the bean as follows.
    1. requestresponsebean
    2. call adapter
    3. responseonewaybean.
and define the request and  response bean parameter in the value
    1. request --passThrough- true
    2. response--receiver channel -- channel name
    3. responce-- receiverService--Business service name.
please do remember to configure one  receiver agreement using the rfc channel.

  • Message Interface Not found??

    Hi friends,
    In IDoc to file.
i am using Business Service as receiver. In Business service Reciever side Interface ..i am not finding inbound interface..
interface is in active state in repository..
    i did cache refresh also..
    please sugget me
    regards
    ram

    Hi Ram,
    There can be two possibilities....
    1. Either you might not have added your Message Interface to the Business service . If added..
    2. you need to check whether the Interface direction is set to inbound in the IR.
