Regarding modelling of quantity infoobjects

Im extracting the data from oracle tables .
I have three quantity source fields in oracle tables and contains different unites.
So how can i create those three InfoObjects .Can i use '0unit' as a variable unit in infoobject maintainece.
If i use the '0unit' then how can i map that '0unit' infoobject in transfer rule.
pls tell me

y don't go for 3 different unit chars with reference to 0UNIT?.then in transfer rule u can map respective units and quantities.

Specifications for the report regarding the invoiced quantity.

Hi all SAP gurus,
I want to give specifications to the abaper regarding the layout of a report. The details are sales order, materials in it, order quantity, invoiced qty, balance qty and stock against the balance qty.
I want to know the table & field name where the qty is getting updated. Suppose order qty is 20, today i invoice 5 qty. The balance is 15. When i run the report, in the invoiced qty column the system should show 5. Tomorrow i invoice 10 qty, the balance will be 5. When i run the report again, in the invoiced qty column, the system should show 15.
Where is the data stored regarding the updated qty which is already invoiced.
The scenario is MTS. Is it possible to show the exact available qty in the balance qty. column some material may be confirmed for other sales order also.

Need to understand couple of more things before i tell you the fields as are you considering report Based ON invoice or delivery as you are saying that order quantity is 20 and invoice is 5 , ( do you mean to say delivered quantity is 5)
secondly since this report is for stock are you taking into the account of all the pending orders not yet delivered , partially deliverd.
Hope you understand this as this report could change every minute the order is delivered
And as per my knowledge there is no such table which can give you that information , you need to write a logic which will consider the open orders, partially delivery , and stuff into .....hope i am in Sync with what you are asking

Hi Mohammad,
My understanding regarding this is, like Atributes are theoritically characteristics themselves. You can use already created Chars as attributes for other Chars or you create a new attribute in a chars then after they appear as a chars. So actualy we are arranging them according to their dependency. Now you have choices, if you need a attribute which has attribute only property or you want to create a attribute which if you need you can make as navigational.

Regarding Scheduled Delivery quantity

Can someone tell me how to create a test data in ME21N (Creating a purchase order) so that the schedule line items should be delivered partially.
So, that the purchase order which I created should be able to see in the table VETVG.
For example : For purchase order XYZ , Let say I have created scheduled quantity (EKET-MENGE) as 100 . I want to deliver this quantity partially 70 . So, the remaining 30 should appear in VETVG table.
Now the requirement is by using BAPI_PO_CHANGE, I want to process this 30 and to make VETVG table empty.
Can some one please explain the functionality involved for my question ?
I am unable to find where this 30 is being saved in the transaction/table.

U need to compare the fields MENGE and WEMNG..Basically if MENGE is Greater than WEMNG it would appear in the delivery due index.
MENGE - Schedule line quantity
WEMNG - Delivered quantity against the particular schedule line.
So in the below case
EBELN EBELP ETENR MENGE AMENG WEMNG WAMNG
00000123 11 1 500.000 0.000 500.000 0.000
00000124 12 1 25.000 0.000 0.000 0.000
The document 00000124 12 1 would appear in VETVG table, while the first one should not.

I have completed the steps till configuring the import server in HANA studio now when click on "Import Link" Under Content, i am not getting "information modeler" option to get table structure.
Please help on this.

Once you click on above, it will ask you to mention Source connection details and type of import objects like tables & extractors.

Regarding Model Data Binding.

Hi Jain,
Data binding enables data transfer between views and models, so that we don't have to add or change controller coding to work with models.
Syntax for DataBinding:
For <htmlb:InputField>
<htmlb:InputField value="//query/a"/>
This example code creates an inputfield that takes its initial value from the a attribute of query model.
here query is the instance for model we can define in conroller Do init method.
For ex if you want to add two numbers by using model data binding.
Create method add in model which has three attributes value1,value2, and result.We have to define these attributes in model.Result is to print the added vaue.
Then we have to add these values to the model in the view by using above syntax:

<htmlb:InputField value="//query/value2"/>
<htmlb:InputField value="//query/result"/>
here query is instance for the model.
Here you have to remeber one point that no need to define these attributes(value1,value2,result) in the view again but you have define model instance in the attributes of view.

If the equipment type characteristic u r creating as independent then there is a option in master data/ text data, where u can select the check box for text. then this characteristic u can provide with text. By default it is alwys ticked.

At table level you declare like currency only for that feild-c.
For Ex: feild-C = feild-A * feild-B.
But to get the value in the feild-c you need to create a table maintainece generator. In that you write Events. In Table control after save event (02) you need write the code like below.
feild-C = feild-A * feild-B.
to go the events, go to se11 maintain feilds and activate.
Then go to Utilities -
> Tabel Maintanence Generator
now go to Environment ---> Modification ---> Events

Question for Creative regarding Model

My card has Audigy 2 model number SB0240 printed on it. Is this an Audigy 2 or Audigy 2 ZS? It was bought from BestBuy 5 months ago. It has gold ports and the Firewire port. I can't match up the model number to those on the Creative site. My husband thinks it's a plain Audigy 2, but some of the screenshots I've seen suggest it is a ZS. We don't remember. SB0240 refer to a Audigy 2 card and not Audigy 2 ZS(SB0350). Hope that clear things up for you.

i think you can work this way too, write some ABAP code in ur start outine to select all the data for Equipment Type = 'E', I' and 'M'. This way u can load data only for these types, by which whne u repot on , u would get only the required data, rataher than loading the whole data and then restricting at the report level.If u feel this should work, u can contact me for the ABAP code.
