Regarding Navigation Flow of Topics in Robohelp 11

Hi,
1. As, i have added previous and Next Topic buttons in my robohelp 11 chm, yet i am facing a flow issue.
2. The flow issue is:
-> While the chm file is generated, in the TOC pane of chm as shown in the image below:
the arrow buttons in the highlighted image above are not working according to the toc flow.
As, suppose i first click on Start page -> New features -> Recommended System Prerequisites, and now i wish to navigate directly top Start Page then it is creating a problem as the buttons doesn't work for the same. please help.

Yes i am first generating a Webhelp as my Primary Layout, and then from the webhelp i am generating chm file, i also imported skin in it, and done all the necessary settings required.
Thus, also validated the Browse Sequences, but the issue is that the navigation halts with in the Book.
As, shown in the above image if i navigates from New Features Topic -> Recommended System Prerequisites -> Installation Procedure, then if i wish to go back to New Features by clicking arrow buttons(<- and ->), then the navigation halts in mid at the respective book name that is Getting Started only.

Experts, I have a very exciting demand, the board of a customer.
I need to create an analytical application on Oracle Portal, UCM, Spaces, WebCenter, to inform me which quantitatively pages, url and documents are accessed.
How to analyze the navigation flow in Oracle Portal, Number of unique users, downloads and other estastisticas of use of the Portal and Documents?
I thought I'd create a ods with the data of Content Tracker and Google Analytics, and model the analysis through the BIEE.
I ask, what is the standard solution that is used in these cases?

Controlling the Navigation Pane from Topic links

I've followed Rick Stone's instructions (in his Skinny on Skins tips file) for controlling the navigation pane from topic links, but I've included the reference to whtbar.js in my Master Page (as I want it to be available to all my topics) instead of in a single topic in my WebHelp output. It works fine, however, I'm experiencing a page flicker whenever I click a link which opens the TOC, Index, Glossary, etc. Does anyone know if this can be avoided?

No your method still works fine thanks (without any page flicker). However, it only opens and closes the navigation pane. What I've been playing around with is the idea of hiding the standard WebHelp toolbar by setting its height to zero in the .SKN and then creating my own toolbar in a Master Page that controls the navigation pane, i.e. with Home, Contents, Index, Search, and Glossary links. That way I have more control over how the toolbar looks and, for example, I can use some script to power drop-down menus, etc. I've been looking at using the Bootstrap framework.
I seems to work okay, apart form the annoying page flicker when I use the links in my custom toolbar.
Oh well, maybe I'm trying to push the boundaries a little too far?!

my question is, if it is possible to create a website with deeper navigation. For example: When i create a site "products" it appears automatically in the navigation list. Is it now possible to create some different product pages under this topic? When it is possible, how can I do this?

Regarding Execution flow in webdynpro component

I am confused regarding the execution flow.
we have "component controller" and "view controller" in a webdynpro component.
I have written some code in "wdDoInit" of "component controller" and in "wdDoInit" of "view controller" and in "wdDoModifyView" of "view controller" .
If I do "Deploy and Run " the application , Which one is executed first ,I mean how is the code processed ,where the control reaches first?

In a web dynpro application there is always a interface view specified.
This interface view is associated with a window. The window has set of views with one as default view.
When Web Dynpro application is launched, the window is instantiated via interface view specified. The window after instantiation is rendered on the brower/some other UI client.
The window when instantiated will instantiate the default view also. So wdDoInit of view controller will be called now. Now if navigation happens to some other view in the window that particular view has to be instantiated. So the wdDoInit of that view will be called then.

Navigation Pane and Topic Pane

I am new to RoboHelp. I just did a tutorial and feel like I
understood it. I completed my own project, and it worked fine.
However, the project I need to work on was begun by someone else at
the company I work for, and when I access her project via RoboHelp
XML, it is missing the Project Manager, TOC, Index, etc. in the
Navigation Pane on the left side, and the Topics Pane on the right
side only has Wysiwyg and True Code (missing Links and Topics).
When I go up to Tools and choose Pane, I get three options (Tools,
TrueCode, and Wysiwyg), and the options I desire aren't there.
Since the tutorial taught me how to use RoboHelp using those
missing items, I am lost without them. I am hopeful that someone
can talk me through getting those back to my screen. Thanks.

Left-hand view was checkmarked. When I uncheckmarked it, the
Wysiwyg Editor expanded across the screen, filling it left to
right, and I entirely lost the pane on the left-hand side which had
the Tools Tab. So, I put the checkmark back in.
I do not have the same hard drive as she had. I had to ask
the IT guys here to install RoboHelp. I would not have the same
user logon as she had. Would that make a difference? The tutorial I
did did not address version control (it's more advanced than I am).
If she had used this feature, would that explain those missing
items? What about some kind of password protection?
I tried moving the project to My Computer, but that didn't
help. The woman I am replacing had stored this project in Visual
Source Safe as well as on her Shared drive here at the company. I
can access them "regularly" (meaning not via RoboHelp) in either
place. I can access the ones on her Shared drive via RoboHelp, but
that's when I get the version without Project Manager, TOC, Index,
Topics List, Links, etc. When I try accessing the version that's in
Visual Source Safe, I can't get in.
I really appreciating that you are helping me!!!

i have implemented navigation in 10 g in which on clicking one report it naviagate to another report also drilling down.
but in 11g it is not happening.

Please check the navigation is given properly or not.
Just move to the criteria of the request and click required column by which you want to navigate. In the column properties of the request there is option naming INTERACTION in that option you will find "Add action link"-> BI content and then just select required request or the required dashboard page. it will navigate on it.

Creation of Topics in RoboHelp 7

Hi,
I am trying to generate Help file out of word document through robohelp 7.0. The problem is the topics do not get separated as per headings. Like say for example, the heading style ( outlining level ) goes like this:
Level 1
     Level 2
          Level 3
Level 1
     Level 2
          Level 3..so on ..
When I import the document, I check options to create different topics based on Headings, I check heading 1 , 2 and 3. However, after generating the final output, the first 3 levels in bold are organised correctly, however, the next level 1 Topic and topic levels thereafter are not separated into separate pages, it continues along with the Topic marked level 3 as a continous section.
Has anybody encountered this problem before. Or do i have to bookmark my topics ? Is there any setting that I need to do in Word or the tool ?
I am not sure about this, looking forward to more inputs on this.

Need help with New Topic in RoboHelp 7

I'm trying to pick up where someone else left off and am a little lost. I have a WebHelp project on a Sharepoint site. I have added a new topic which I can see in my file structure, but when I generate the project the new topic file does not show up. It must be something small I'm missing. Help!!

No document flow updated in Service Order regarding MM flow i.e. PR, PO, GR

Hello,
On creating a service order in CRM, the purchase requisition is created automatically in R/3 for the spare parts entered.
But this PR information is not getting updated in the service order's document flow in CRM.
I analysed the flow and found that PR gets successfully created and sends back the document flow data to CRM inbound queue.
The BDoc type involved is CRM_SRV_XTN.
In it's Extended part, there is a field called ORDERADM_H_GUID which is correctly filled in the BAPIMTCS structure in R/3 which is converted to probably XML format through macro MOVE_CASTING and sent to CRM inbound queue (function module BAPI_CRM_SAVE).
However, on debugging the respective inbound queue in CRM, I noticed that the field ORDERADM_H_GUID value is not the same as filled in R/3 but some CONSTANT value like 00230023002300560023002300230023 in all the cases.
Also, FYI, the fieldu2019s value in R3 after conversion looks like as following u2013
#########################0000000000 ########䣴Ώ삷#耀諣뢮######## 48F4038FC0B70093E10080008AE3B8AE
While in CRM i.e. FM BAPI_CRM_SAVE it looks as follows u2013

So there I feel that the value what is sent from R/3 is not the same as recieved in CRM, on XML conversion.
Please advise what could be the reason for this anomaly.

unfortunately document flow in PS is not like in SD
only in ECP there is a limited possibility
you can see the line item report and activate the relationship browser which will give the details of the documents related to that posting
other than that nothing

Regarding work flow for credit block release in sales order

Kindly help me with work flow-
my scenario is if customers credit limit of 5000$ exceeds in sales order it should be blocked and notification should go to authorize person through simple mail to release this block.
for this i have done settings in out control i have used output type krml and determined partner as employee responsible to release block in customer master but mail is not triggered to authorized person for credit block and how i can create work flow for this so that authorized person should get notify for credit block as well he releases block also.

Please find the below points to fix your issue.
1. Configure the out put determination by using the condition type KRML.(Hope oyu have done it already).
2.Maintain the condition records in VV11 for condition type "KRML"
3.Then select the condition record and click the communication tab .
4. If you want to give any information you can use "Note for recipient".
5. If the information has to be sent to relevant person you recipient name in the recipient column.
Save the documnet.
If you raise the sales order and if it is blocked then system automatically send the information to respective person.
You can get this in formation in ""SBWP" transaction code.
Check the in box, the information what you have mentioned in the condition records will be appeared.
Please let me know if you have any clarifications
