I am writing a custom program that will be attached to the transaction O3B7 (Netting Document Creation).
This Output type will be attached to my program in NACE Transaction.
I wish to know the standard program that I can refer to for designing my custom program.
If anybody have an idea, please let me know.

Hi,
I have a question regarding netting between customer and vendor.
Netting happens in F110 automatically. Does it clear the customer-vendor open items by line items or by balance. For example, Customer has 5 line items totally $3000(debit balance) and vendor has 4 line items totally $5000. In F110, will it pick all the 9 open items and clear against line items or will it clear against balances..i mean netting happens against balance or individually against line items?
Second question, if the outcome of netting is to pay customer $4000..i mean after netting between customer and vendor the result/output has customer with debit balance 4000, then how does it show up. Does the receivable shows up on AR side and AR can go and collect the money. I am confused here because if the payment method in F110 is "E" Wire transfer and that customer in general (in master data set up) has payment method Direct debit, how will this scenario work?
Please help with this. I need to present a demo to the client.

Hi,
In F110, system will create a payment document and will store that payment document as clearing document in all the lines of customer and vendors which are getting cleared off in netting.
The remaining balance in custom, if it is debit, then AR team can collect the same. However in case you have direct debit payment method, then you can run F11 also for that debit balance of customer and can collect the payment as direct debit from cusotmer account.

Net Price - Aggregation

I am one issues regarding net price.
I was trying load netprice using 2LIS_02_SCL for 0PUR_C01.
When loading i am using goods receipt process keys 002, 012,022. So i can see based on posting date wise netprice.
When loading it is getting aggregated eventhough lot exception aggregation i tried.
Is it possible for me to load average in routine wise or any idea ....?

For that i have written a routine like

How to use a C# dll in Labview?

How can I use a C# dll in Labview 8.2? With the "Import Shared Library" Wizzard I need the header file which I don't have. Is there another way
to use such .dll to import the functions created in C#?

afaik there is no tool which provides you the possibility to create something like an instrument driver for .NET assemblies.
Maybe we should take a look into terminology:
- Instrument driver: This is a set of functionality, which provides the user with an easy to use API for a special instrument. Very often, the driver itself is written in C/C++ and provided as a DLL.
- "Import Shared Library" Wizard: This wizard enables the user to create an own API for any C/C++ DLL (or compatible) for LabVIEW. This wizard requires the information on all exported functions; this info is contained in the header file. The result of the wizard is a set of VIs containing one Call Library Function Node each for each exported function.
- .NET assembly (extension .exe OR .dll): This can be compared to ActiveX. So the way to program with .NET is similar to ActiveX. Maybe you want to take a look into the examples of LabVIEW regarding .NET...
- Global Assembly Cache (GAC): All assemblies contained here are registered in the system. Every application can easily work with assemblies contained here.
- Private assemblies: This would be the way to work with .NET assemblies which are built on your own. You have to select the .DLL-file itself and make sure that the file can always be found in the same (relative)folder of your application.

I also had the same problem with an upgrade from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 - an iPod Touch that worked fine over WiFi before was now toast as regards net connection.
Below is the lengthy process I went through to get 2.0.2 working. Maybe some of the steps are redundant but, for what it's worth, here is what I did...
(1) Firstly - if you haven't upgraded to 2.0.2 - DON'T. This build does seem problematic given the number of people reporting problems with regards to internet access after the upgrade
(2) If you have upgraded and have no net connection via WiFi, first reset the iPod Touch network settings (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings) as well as a software reboot of your router (usually via it's admin screen) and see if this solves the problem. If not, repeat but try powering the router off and on. For me, after the initial 2.0.2 upgrade, connecting to my Netgear DG834G router wasn't the problem...it was just that Safari, Stocks, Weather, etc. all reported that they couldn't access the net.
(3) Downgrade (back to v2.0.1) - for this you need to put the Touch into Restore mode. Power it off completely using the button on the top. Connect the Touch to iTunes. Power the Touch back up whilst holding down the Home button. iTunes should now display a dialog box to effect that you are in Restore mode. If you are on a Windows machine, hold the Shift key down and click "Restore" on the iPod page of iTunes. This should bring a file selection dialog - pick the relevant ipsw file (my 2.0.1 file was labelled iPod1,12.0.15B108.ipsw) which should be located in C:\Documents & Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates. On OS X, these files are in (username)/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates. iTunes may ask how you want to restore - I picked the 'new iPod' option hoping this would reset any configuration left over from the 2.0.2 upgrade. However, once this downgrade was completed, I still didn't have any net connection.
(4) Erase All - this was a drastic step as it clears all of your settings and content from the Touch. But I thought it might resolve the problem. Sadly, it didn't...but given it was part of the process, I've included it here. This is accessed via Settings -> General - Reset -> Erase All Content & Settings on the Touch. As I say, it erases everything so be warned. It also can take about an hour to complete.
(5) Re-install 2.0.2 - at this point, I had the downgrade v2.0.1 installed, no content on the Touch and still no net access. Getting desperate, I decided to retry the upgrade (iTunes will be telling you that a newer version of iPod Touch software is available obviously). So I installed 2.0.2 for the 2nd time and also synced the Touch to put back all of the content erased in step (4). However still no net connection.
(6) Router reboot - after all this and the net access problem still unresolved, I was about to drop Apple a strong email about lack of regression testing in their iPod Touch software builds. But in an act of desperation, I tried a router reboot via it's admin screen and suddenly the Touch apps (with 2.0.2 installed) were able to access net services! Hence my suggestion of trying step (2) at the outset and at every intervening stage.
I still don't understand why this fixed the problem as a WiFi connection was always there through the above steps (I have my configuration as no SSID broadcast, WPA password and MAC address filtering enabled). Plus the Touch's network screen would always report the correct router-assigned IP address and the correct DNS addresses after it had connected. I also have the latest revision firmware in my router. It just seemed as though the Touch apps couldn't open an IP socket connection even though the core network service was connected.
Anyway, sorry for the long post but I thought it might help others suffering this problem.

Would anyone know or heard rumors of when 8i Lite will support the Pocket PC/StongARM (ala Compaq iPaq)?

Not sure what exactly you are asking for, as the original topic for this thread was regarding .NET compact framework.
You cannot use .NET in plan c/c++ applications, you need to use managed C++.
If your existing application uses the ODBC APIs directly, then you should have no problem moving the PPC2002 application to the PPC2003 device, provided that the devices use the same chipset.

Tuxedo Application port range

Hi All,
Is there any way to restrict tuxedo application to use a specified range of ports while it is up & running (except JSL, WSL, GWTDOMAIN) ?
Issue - The tux application comes up with random ports getting assigned to the application servers connecting to the DB, which at times occupy either of WSL, JSL, NWADDR of other tuxedo application that's scheduled to come up later on the same box.
I am looking for a way to restrict the first tux application coming up within specified port range for the servers.So they don't overlap with other tuxes (WSL,JSL,NWADDR).

OK, now I'm really really confused. DB ports as specified in tnsnames.ora or somehow through the OPENINFO string are destination ports, i.e., ports that some Tuxedo process will be connecting to. Server ports, i.e., ports that a local process opens for listening are only done by Tuxedo system servers such as the JSL, WSL, GWTDOMAIN, GWWS, etc. Although you can have multiple Tuxedo SHM (or MP) domains on the same physical host, they cannot share TCP/IP ports. That's a fundamental limitation of the socket implementation on most (all?) operating systems.
Normal application servers, i.e., server built with the buildserver command don't ever open up listening ports. All communication to application servers is done via System V IPC queues. The only servers that listen on network ports are Tuxedo system servers, and all of them have configurable network addresses, including host and port. So the JSL, WSL, GWTDOMAIN, etc., all can be configured to listen on specific host/port addresses.
Regarding net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range, this is an OS parameter and not a Tuxedo parameter. Tuxedo servers just listen on the ports configured in whatever configuration file is appropriate, i.e., WSL and JSL in UBBCONFIG, GWTDOAMIN in the DMCONFIG file, GWWS in the imported WSDF files. For outgoing connections such as to the database, the source port for those connections is under the control of the operating system. They should never conflict as the OS allocates free ports for each connection.
Perhaps you can tell me what it is you are seeing that you would like to see behave differently so I can get a better feeling for what the problem is. There should never be a port conflict assuming your Tuxedo network address are configured uniquely across whatever domains are on a specific host.

AutoCad on Mac

OK, so I installed CrossOver (Mac application for running windows apps without installing windows) for mac on my MBP. I then attempted to install Autocad 2005 but got an error. Here is a screen shot of the steps I took:
#1: Double-clicked the install.exe file from the AutoCad CD which gave me the following screen:

I need to install AutoCad on my MBP.
The CrossOver website claims to support AutoCad 2005 but does not give advice on how to do this.
If anyone has been successful with installing Windows apps using CrossOver, please give me some advice as to how to do it (note: I absolutely refuse to install MS Windows.)

In any case, since you (and you only) are responsible for your choices: a) In the same linked page it is mentioned .NET 1.1 is NOT supported. Therefore you could surpass the aforementioned messages regarding .NET prerequisite if necessary and see what comes up.b) I don't remember the formation of the installation procedure, but if a custom installation is available you could choose skiping .NET-evenmore try to make a Metric only installation rather than Imperial thus creating a "lighter" application (closer to LT) and see if this works.

Mapping rives prior to opening application in RD Web?

Running RD Web in a windows server 2012 r2 and was wondering if it is possibly to map drives before an application opens in remoteapps or RD Web? Is it possible to run a drive mapping in the paramters settings in RDS and does it have to be a certain script?
I am currently running a login script as a batch file through GPO's and it maps after the application is open.

We need to create a batch file (to create mapped drive) and then publish that batch file as RemoteApp on your server. By this we can get the drive mapping available, but please see that drive mapping occurs after running of batch file and running of App.
Inside the batch file, we can write
net use r: \\IP_server_address\share_path
c:\path_to_app.exe

FEP -- Protection Service Off --

Hi to all,
I have an SCCM 2007 SP2 R3 Site with FEP 2010 Updt Rollup 1.
It works from a couple of years without problem, but now servers infrastructure team migrated 600 servers from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2012, and I begun to view, on FEP console node dashboard, "Protection Status", "Protection
service off" for all of these Windows Server 2012 servers.
I tried to investigate and I noticed:
- FEP is installed, configured, up and running on these servers: it must be an incorrect notifications.
- FEP is installed, configured, up and running on all others workstations and servers (no Windows Server 2012) with correct notifications.
How can I investigate further? Any other ideas?

Based on your description, do you mean that you want to show two drop down lists in the workflow tasks list’s edit form?
And, do you want to display all the SharePoint Groups and all the members in the specific SharePoint Group that you select from the Group drop down list?
Per my knowledge, we can add two new Task Form Fields to display the “Assigned To” column’s value of the current task, and the Approval Task Process’s Participant Groups, however, we cannot get all the SharePoint Groups in the workflow tasks list’s edit
form using SharePoint Designer 2010.
To implement it, please follow the steps as below.
Click on the “Approval” of the action in the workflow, add two new Task Form Fields named “Assigned To Member”, “Member Group” with “Single line of text” type.
Click on “Change the behavior of a single task” in the “Customization”, add two “Set Task Field” actions in “Before a Task is Assigned” section as below:
Set Task Field ““Assigned To Member” to “Current Task: Assigned To” with “Display Name”, Set Task Field “Member Group” to “Task Process: Participant List” with “Display Names, Semicolon Delimited”.
3. Publish the workflow and test if it works in your environment.

Berkley db java api with replication

I'm a java programmer/ .NET programmer and consider using berkley db with replication
my question is two fold :
1. Basic understanding of berkley db with java api : how exactly does it work ? Is it a single process or multiple process ? this intrigues me since since both java code ( with probably requireds JVM and a dedicated process ) and both c code run together.
2. when using java api with replication - does each client code in java has to be complied with the berkley db code and run in the same process or can be separate and the database function as a standalone service.
3. Regarding .NET - what are the possibilities of using berkley db with replication with .NET ?

Berkeley DB (the version written in C) can run multi-process and/or multi-threaded when configured to do so (see the docs and look for information on concurrency, locking, and transactions). The Berkeley DB library calls can be wrapped into various languages, the Java Native Interface (JNI) for Java is one. Almost all other languages that I can think of have done something similar. We even use a toolkit called SWIG which helps in the process of wrapping an API for use in another language (nifty stuff). The result is that you can run a Java JVM using the Berkeley DB Java JAR/JNI interface concurrently with any number of other languages (C, Python, Ruby, Perl, TCL, you name it) because they are all simply separate processes using the same Berkeley DB dynamic library at runtime to access the same data. That's it, not much magic just good code. :)
As to your other two questions:

Berkeley DB HA (aka Replication) allows for two things; read scalability across multiple independent computers, and durability in the face of system failure (if a system dies, another one takes over until it can return to the replication group). Clients in a replication group can run using any language they want, they don't all have to be the same (for the same reasons as before). When running HA each system will manage a complete copy of the database environment (data files, log files, and locking/caching files). One system will be the master (read/write) and the others will be replicas (read only). If a master dies an election is held to determine the new master and then that system (or process) is promoted to master.
3. There are two answers to your .NET/C# issue. First, were working on an API for 4.8 which will be out soon. Second we just spotted this person's blog entry and found it to be very interesting, you might give it a try with Berkeley DB Java/JNI and see if it works.

MSi GE70 - Top Buttons not Working

Hi,
Quite a simple problem, that I've been working around for a while: all of the buttons on the top row except on/off and what I assume is fan speed, no longer have any effect.
I've had a few searches for this problem, and all I've been able to find is "update windows 8", which doesn't work (obviously!).
These buttons aren't part of the keyboard, and everything that is "Fn +" still works. I can eject discs using the button on the drive. Also, the Turbo turns itself on/off as necessary.
If anyone has any suggestions for fixes, I would most appreciate it!
