Regarding output type NEUM with medium EXTERNAL SEND l

hi Experts,
we r using trasaction Zmcp instead of me23..after creatig PO,
mail should be go to partcular vendor through medium EXTERNAL SEND..but it displaying Medium FAX..can you please tell me what may be problem and for that what we have to do for resolve it...please tell meirts very urjent.

Check the logic in the entity adapter ENT_Prov_Permitted_Resources.
This adapter is causing problems when you are trying to assign the resource.

New output type to be triggered to send smartform through email

Hi,
Currently we are using Milwaukee printer (USJC-PM03) as default for out put type ZURD. When this output get created in the invoice with the printer as USJC-PM03, the iinvoices get printed on the Milwaukee printer.
When someone tries to print an invoice by copying the ZURD, then system should trigger the newly created output ZUPG with the printer setting as u2018LOCLu2019 and medium u2018External Sendu2019, Communication strategy = u2018CS01u2019,dispatch time = 1.
When again the user tries to print the same invoice by copying the ZUPG output type,the system should trigger the output type ZUPG with medium u2018Print outu2019, Logical Destination = u2018LOCLu2019 and Dispatch time = u20181u2019.
How the output type ZUPG be triggered even if the user select the output type ZURD.
If anyone has come across this type of requirement please let me know.

This can be done with the standard form itself.
first find out the output type u r using.
Then goto T-code NACE and then choose EF- purchase order and then select the output type u r using.
Then goto the 'processing Routines' at the lefe side of the screen.
There u can find out the output forms for this output typr u r using. Here add 'Simple mail-7' in the list and then give the program name and the smartform or the script u r using.
We can also give the mail texts for this output form.
After that goto ME22N and then choose the 'Messages' tab and then click the simple mail and in the 'communication method' kindly provide the mail id for which the PO mail has to be sent.
And then the mail can be viewed in the inbox of the recipient.
in this way we can sent the PO mail to the corresponding mail address,.
I guess this will solve ur issue.

In my requirement i am send attachment to external send using open_form function module with email content blank,So now my requirement is add 2 to 3 line email content should come in external mail with attachment through open_form function module for that any one can help me if faced this kind of object it will be very help full for me.

Is your solution using DEVICE = 'MAIL' when calling OPEN_FORM? If yes, please read through OSS Note 311037 - Printing using e-mail. You should be able to define up to 10 lines, as a static cover page for printouts sent via mail (I have not verified if this works). If that doesn't suffice, you are out of luck, I'm afraid. You'd be better off sorting out the otf to pdf conversion problem.
Edit in: alternatively, you could of course try to extend FM SO_OBJECT_SEND via implicit enhancement... All you really need to do there is to populate the table NOTE_TEXT, which will then get converted into e-mail body Create a singleton to hold text, set text in in the driver program before open_form, get it in the implicit enhancement at the beginning of SO_OBJECT_SEND, and, if note_text is empty, take over your text and clear the singleton instance...

Problem with the External send output for Portugal in Smartforms

Hello All,
I am facing an issue with a particular outtype for external send for portugal country.The print priview is of different font than original font of the form.
But When the same output type is assigned with the print output the form is showing the font with the original fonts of the form.
can any one suggest the solution for this?

Actually the same external send output type is working fine in the development system.This is having issue only in quality system.
And the condition records are maintained same in both dev system and quality system.
Does the capturing of Font play any Role...
I read some where that sometimes in translations a particular coutry might not hold the fonts.

Send output to multiple recepients(Using External send)

Using the external send for outputs we can send the email of outputs to customers using the email id given in the customer master record , Is it possible to send the output to multiple recepints the same output?
Because in the customer master we can add more than one email id but system will select only one email id for sending the output.

The requirement is for one customer master if i want to add more then one email id and for those email ids , I want to generate a invoice output using VF02 , We can add more than one email id in Customer master but we can not use all the email ids the same time to trigger the output.
If I want to send the output to multiple email ids maintained in the customer master , how i can do that?

i have one billing doc. i want to find out type for that billing doc. through that i need to find the program name and form name.
i have lot of out put types. In that how to find the out put for my requirement

It is not a good idea to check with the Program name or Layout set name without knowing the OUtput types because, Billing docu number can work with multiple Output types...you never know it. So in your case to check TNAPR table would be the best option...but again it is never recomended to go ahead without knowing the output type.
And for one Output type there will be only one smart form/ script form and a Zprogram will be configured.
It is not possible to configure multiple Smart forms for a same Output type.
You can use single smart form in Multiple Output types but not single output type for diff Smart forms.
Try to either know the smart form/script from name or the Zprogram so that you can search it in TNAPR table or by using Where used list icon.

we created New ouput type from the existing one
and we modified the script .we are not done any changes in print program copied as it is with some other name.
problem is:
now if we run with new ouput type see the print preview we are not geting the output as before( that means existing output type )?
any changes to be done for print program?
i mean in print program i have the old ouput type shall i replace that with new output type?
pls give me solution.

Output Type determination with BAPI call

Hello SAP experts,
Thank you in advance for any guidance or ideas you may have.
We are modifying an outbound delivery document with the following functions:
bapi_outb_delivery_change and ws_delivery_update
and we need to cause an outbound type to be determined(executed)
This process works when we post goods issue manually but does not work when we post goods issue via an ABAP program using the above mentioned functions

For Output determination the condition technique has to be followed.
1) Maintain Output condition table -V/57
2)maintain Access sequence
3)Maintain Output condition type-V-30
4)Maintain Output determination procedure
5)Maintain condition records in VV11
Besides you should also assign the Output types to Partner function
Assign Output det.pro to sales document header & sales document type (eg: OR)-V/43
Assign Output det.pro to Item category-V/69
The condition types for Output in your case is BA00(standard).
Have you done all these ?

i need to copy pgi quantity into sales order quantity for that i write a code into user exit MV50AFZ1. code is working fine but
output type and idoc is not trigger due to this. In this exit to update sales order quantity i used bapi *BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE . can anyone tell me why o/p type and idoc not trigger ,what is the reason and what is the solution for this?

Did you activate the enhancement for user exit ?
Did you check if the output type is configured correctly ?
Put a debugging point and see if control is coming there.

DO u know the dunning notice number.
Then go to the table NAST.
In the sel.screen give the dunning notice number in the object key filed and execute. U will get the records of the processed outputs. from there u can find the application and output type.
Or go to Tcode NACE.
There u find a list of application from that u can choose as per ur req.

Output types will be assigned to output determination procedures.
These procedures will be assigned to Sales Order type and Item Category.
The path for this is:
SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Output Control>Output Determination>Output Determination Using the Condition Technique>Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents>Assign Output Determination Procedures>Allocate sales document header/Assign sales document items.
Similarly the output determination procedure will be assigned to Billing document type.
The path is:
SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Output Control>Output Determination>Output Determination Using the Condition Technique>Maintain Output Determination for Billing Documents-->Assign Output Determination Procedures.
You can check the procedures by using the path:

Query regarding Output Types

Hello Experts,
I have one output type for sales documents. I am able to successfully trigger it for credit/debit memos but when I try to trigger it for standard orders then I am getting "Output not defined" error. Can anybody please tell me where in the config we can define output types for sales document types.
I have one more query. While trying to trigger one billing document output I am getting "Update Terminated" error. But for same billing document I am able to trigger other output types. If "Update Terminated" error is coming due to number range then should it not be coming for all output types since there is no output type specific number range defined.

please check the configuration settings
IMG-sales & distribution-basic functions-output control-output determination-output determination using the condition technique-maintain output determination for sales documents.
1. create condition table . Key combination for maintaining condition record.
2. access sequence. assign condition table to access sequence.
3. ouput condition type. Select appropriate for inquiry, quotation or sales order. Assign the access sequence to the ouput type.
4.ouput determination procedure. Here you assign the output type to this procedure.
5. assign output determination procedure. Assign the procedure at header level if you want full document ouput. Assign the procedure at Item category level if you want item level output.
6. VV11 - create condition records for sales document types or VV31 for billing document types.
create the order or billing document and see the result.
