Hello, I am a new user and I am creating a school magazine of 200 pages in Adobe Indesign CC ....
I want to add page nos. to the bottom of each and evry page help me how to add automatic continous page nos.....in every pages...

From the beginning.
1. Document set up.
2. Number of pages 200
3. Select 'Facing Pages'
4. Go to top menu Window’ select ‘pages’
5. Click on ‘A - Master’ when select it turns yellow.
6. With type tool create text box,
7. Top menu ‘Type’ - ‘Insert Special Character’ - ‘Marker’ - ‘Current Page Number’ then choose font style etc.
8. Copy that text box which has a letter ‘A’ and move to the other master page left/right hand side.
That’s it.
Also this might be of help if you need to modify pages that you do not want page numbers or images to appear on.
Once you have added your page numbers using the ‘Master Pages’,
click on ‘Pages’ from the ‘window’ menu, then click on the page you do not want a page number or image etc from the pages menu, it should highlight yellow.
Right click, (or use pull down menu top left of the ‘Pages’ window) from the page menu, drop down menu appears, select ‘Override All Master Page Items’, then delete what you want without effecting other Master Page settings for other pages.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Connect the iPad to your computer and try to get the document via File sharing
- Try getting the document from iCloud.com if you are using iCloud

Regarding Pages charts, when I try to 'build' a 3D chart all I get is little dots but not graphics. No problems with 2D charts though. Guess my question is "Help?"

Thanks to Fruhulda and Peter for their comments regarding the refusal of Pages to let me make 3D charts.
In answer to the questions put to me in this regard :
1. Pages version : Pages '09 v.4.1 (923)
2. Mac O/S :          v.10.6.8
3. 3D chart :          Can't find a 'name', but upright bars with rounded corners ???
4. Moved apps :    Not that I'm aware of! All should be as installed off the disc.
5. A note :              I have been able to create these in the past - related to a SW update?
                      and ... can create these charts perfectly in Keynote (go figure).

Regarding page down in the table control veritcally

Hi all,
          I have an issue regarding page down in the Table control in module pool , i.e when i m click the vertical scroll bar and going for page down then , the control is flowing to the next sceen which is not needed , and it shuld just scroll down and up vetically.
Can anyone help me how to handle the page down event ?

The layout of screen 100 is:
A resizable table control called FLIGHTS is defined. The fields of the table control are transferred from the structure DEMO_CONN in the ABAP Dictionary. The first two columns are lead columns. The corresponding fields are output fields. A title bar, column headers, and a selection column are created. The component MARK of type character with length 1 from structure DEMO_CONN is assigned to the selection column. You can select one column and several lines.
It has the following flow logic:

The system executes a loop at PBO and PAI using the table control FLIGHTS. During the PBO loop, a module is called to fill the table control from table ITAB of the ABAP program. During the PAI loop, a module is called to modify table ITAB.
Before the PBO loop, in the module STATUS_0100 the current number of lines of the internal table ITAB is placed in component LINES of control structure FLIGHTS. This helps the system to correctly install the scroll bar of the table control.
During the PBO loop, in the module FILL_TABLE_CONTROL the work area DEMO_CONN is filled with values from the internal table, where the row index corresponds to the current row of the table control.
During the PAI loop, in the module READ_TABLE_CONTROL the current number of the loop SY-LOOPC in the table control is placed an auxiliary variable. The number is dependent on the size of the screen. The rows of the internal table, whose row index corresponds to the current row of the table control, are overwritten with the contents of the work area DEMO_CONN. User input is transferred from the input fields of the control to the internal table. In particular, the internal table also contains a flag in the column MARK to indicate whether the row of the table control is selected or not.
After the PAI loop, user input is processed in the module USER_COMMAND. The GUI status SCREEN_100 provides the appropriate function codes. You can scroll line by line or page by page, or Goto the first or last page. You can implement scrolling by setting the component TOP_LINE of control structure FLIGHTS. For page-by-page scrolling the auxiliary variable that is filled in the PAI loop by SY-LOOPC is used as the step size.

Problem in getting Page nos in SFs

I have a problem in getting Page nos in SFs. My problem is that, I want to print multiple docs ie SELECT-OPTION case.
Here each doc has N no of pages. I want to print Page 1 of N for each doc. I used SFSY-PAGE / SFSY-FORMPAGES but its giving total no of pages. I want my page no has to reset for each doc.
Ex.. DOC 1 .... Page 1 of 3, 2 of 3 etc.
DOC2 .... Page 1 of 5 etc.
DOC3 .... Page 1 of 1 etc.
but its printing 1 of 9, 2 of 9 etc.
Plz help me in this reg.

Thanx for the reply but i think that u did not get my question correctly.
I said that if no of pages is greater than 10, then upto 9th page it is coming as Page 1 of *,..Page 2 of *, then after 10 the page, it is coming right.
For e.g. if the no of pages is 15, then it is coming as Page 1 of *, Page 2 of *....Page 9 of *, but from the 10th page, it is coming as Page 10 of 15 which is the correct way.

CC&B UI Map: repeating header & page nos.

We are looking at creating a report from a query zone in CC&B. The ask is to replicate a legacy report format which will have a header box at top that will show same information from page to page and also the page nos. at bottom will change. Page Nos In script

I have data in the following format.
kunnr      vertn      dmbtr
1000    70       300
1000    70       400
1000    70       300
1000    71       800
1000    71       500
1000    65       900
1000    65       100
2000    43      450
2000    43       550
2000    43       400
2000    40       100
2000    40       300.
My requirement is that all the 70 shhould be dislayed in one page
71 in another page and 65 another page...I have done that.
The page number,
On change of kunnr page number should again start from 1 ie 1 out of 5(in case there are 5 pages for one kunnr).
I tried to reset the page no to 1 in the "On Change of Kunnr' Event but in vain.
Ive also use On change of Vertn 'New-Page' Since each contract(vertn) should be displayed in different page.
Plz help.

I need page No to be printed as page No / Total No of pages.
Example 01/ 05 .
If I use this &SFSY-PAGE& of &SFSY-FORMPAGES& then its printing 1/ 5.
So i tired doing for SFSY-PAGE
wf_flag5 = sfsy-page.
if wf_flag5 le 9.
concatenate ' 0' wf_flag5 into wf_flag5.
endif.
When i am populating as &wf_flag5&/ &SFSY-FORMPAGES(2)&
Then 01/05 05 is overlapping
Please guide me regarding this.

Hi,
Declare in global parameters as;
pageno TYPE NUM2
formpage TYPE NUM2
and in program lines just above textelement to print;
Pageno = SFSY-PAGE.
formpage = SFSY-FORMPAGES.
and in text element print as;
&pageno&/&formpage&
This will solve your problem.

Page nos not printing on all pages

I've a prob...The page no is printed only in the first or first few pages of a multi page report developed in discoverer and viewed using 3i viewer...can anyone pls tell me if that is the prob in code or is there any setting which i can change... What wud b the staus if i try to view the same report using 4i viewer instead of 3i?
Also can anyone pls tell me if there are any significant changes in 4i viewere over 3i?

Step 2: Open properties of that frame
Step 3: Set the property "Print Object On" to "All Pages" value.
(Default value for this property is "Last Page"

I hav developed one adobe forms . In that form from the first page i bind my internal table .
If interanl table contains 500 records means its dynamically get the pages.. Because i used object ---> Flowed
concepts.. If internal table is empty that page should not come..
plz give the solution for restrict that page if internal table is empty

Regarding page-navigation issue:

In our project front page we are having some 10 forms and some 50 buttons. In the page navigation session i could be able to see only the first 11 buttons. how could i give link from other buttons to other page as those things are not visible on that page.
and also our project is somewhat big(some 1500 files) having 1 page navigation file. it is something difficult for us to identiffy the page for link . is there any solution to reduce this complexity?.
one more thing , where can i find components like tabbedpane , messagepane , menus to include in the pages . as
i like to add as third party . It does not avail in standard jsf components yet.

I am having a similar issue with page navigation. I have lot of hyperlinks and buttons on one page, but when you open the page in page navigation, the view of all the links is limited and the page does not get the vertical scroll bar.
From previous forums on this issue I gathered that this is a known problem for a long time and the developers are working on it for almost two years.
Please let us know when this issue is likely to be fixed.

Regarding Page number printing in smartform

Hi All,
I have a requirement wher i should print multiple PO in smartform. It is done..a small issue regarding printing of page numbers. Lets say i am printing three PO
first PO has 20 items
second has 2 items
third has 1 item.
Now the forst Po can have multiple pages it should print as
Page 1
page 2
page 3.
Now after the end of first PO second PO is printed on new page and numbered as Page 1..and so on.
So how can i do this.....

Hi,
Create a paragraph format with dynamic page numbers.
Smartstyles>numbering and outline->select numbering type from list dropdown.
use this paragraph format for displaying the page number with any code.
and before processing your logic create a COMMAND in your smartform and in the reset paragraph numbering give your paragraph name so that it refreshes page numbers every new PO's. (you have place this according to your code).

I am working with smartforms.How can I see the second page in print view.I am getting only 1 of 1.I need 1 of 2 and 2 of 2.I kept in main window command node->goto->second page.But I can not see main window in first page.

in first page general attributes you have to set next page column is second page name and if your data is filled with first page then only it goes to second page.

Hey, what's the status regarding pages and RTL?

i found some discussions in google, but they were pretty old ('09, '10). I was wondering where pages (or the entire iWork suite) stands today in regards to supporting RTL languages, and mixed (LTR and RTL) documents

Really disappointing, not for the unsupporting of RTL Languages but also for the careless of Apple after all of this years of discussions.
I bought Pages from app store, I regeret it because its useless to me without RTL support.
I thought Apple software is trusted and I can buy it without hesitation, but I now relize that I need to read a lot & a lot of reviews before I decide to but any thing from Apple.

This is also possible that might be you don't have write permission to the myclasses directory of your jdeveloper.
If that is so ask your sysadmin to assign full write permission to your necessary directory.
