Regarding points of my current runnig courses

Hello,
I am currently doing courses in MVA. The courses contains self assessment test. I am trying to give those assessment. After given that the points are not increasing in my profile and there was not any indication that points that I have taken the assessments.
And the slide presentation that I have downloaded for courses are in .zip file and after extracting them, they contain .xml and InfoPath files. I don't know how to open them. Please help me to troubleshoot both the topics.

Report for Reorder point, safety stock, current stock and fixed lot size

Hi,
Purchasing Dept. is looking for a report which can give list of materials falling below the reorder point, so that they can go ahead and create procurement proposals for those materials.
They also want to see the Reorder Point, Safety Stock, current stock and fixed lot size in the same report.
Let me know if there ia any standard report availbale which displays the same or any approach to get the same.

Hi,
There is no standard report because this is meant to be managed by the MRP run.
The MRP lists show all materials that have a problem (such as stock below reorderpoint) but MRP generates requirements for these anyway and so all you need to do is to look for the MRP generated requirements (requisitions?) and you have your list?
Are you using MRP?
If so then please use the standard functions in MRP to get this.
If not, then WHY NOT?

Question regarding transfering tracks from current Zen Micro to new Zen V Pl

Thank You in advance to anyone who can assist me.
I just ordered a new Zen V Plus and will want to get all my tracks on it when it arri'ves. My current player is a Zen Micro 5GB and I've loved it but as of late have been having problems with one of the touch pad buttons and, of course, it's out of warrenty. I just found the Zen V Plus 4GB on sale for $59.99 which I feel is a great price point so I bought one. So regarding the issue of getting my music from the Micro to the V Plus, is there a way to transfer from one to the other or would I have to somehow transfer onto my PC then to the V Plus?
Second question I just thought of, Can I use a memory stick(USB Flash Dri've) to back-up my tracks?

Hi,
You could transfer the music content of your Zen Micro to your Zen V Plus without transferring it to the PC first. Do the following steps:
. Connect one player at a time in your PC (XP O/S) and make sure that both of the player is detected.
2. If Windows have detected it, click on the option Open to View Files.
3. Open up the Music folder of both players.
4. From there, copy and paste whatever music tracks you would like to transfer from Zen Micro to Zen V Plus.
It's a good idea to have a back up of all your data and you could use a USB Flash dri've to store it all.

How do I change "At Insertion Point" to "Below Current Line" globally?

Hello,
I have a book that I will be converting to Structured FrameMaker. All of the graphics are referenced to the chapters with the Anchored Frame set to:
"At Insertion Point"
"Distance Above Baseline: 0.0 pt"
If I do not change the Anchor Frame to "Below Current Line", then all of my graphics will float above the text, when in Structured FrameMaker and I will have to manually set each graphic to "Below Current Line".
Since I have already set all the graphics to "At Insertion Point", I was wondering if there was a way I could change this to "Below Current Line" - either through Find/Change or through some plugin.
I appreciate any/all suggestions related to this topic.

You could save the documents as MIF and search/replace the correct MIF codes (the MIF files are plain text files). Otherwise, you could use FrameScript or the FDK to do it. If you are interested in a FrameScript solution, please contact me offlist. Thank you very much.

Hi Geeks and moderators,
1)Just want to know how the point system works on technet as how many points for correct,quickly answered,voted answers.
I realized have given several answers which are correct as per google information still no one marks it as answer.
So when does moderator checks them to mark them answer as we are investing bit of time for solving.. not asking for credits but for self learning we can be sure that our answer was correct ..helping in interviews:)
2) I asked question and then one lady responded but when i ask for second time nobody is responding so when does moderatorlooks into such questions day or two or week.

The policy of individual moderators can vary, but it is recommended that they wait 5 to 7 days after the last reply before marking answers, to give the original poster time to mark answers. In the meantime, the moderator, or anyone, can mark proposed answers.

I see I am being awarded points. However when I click on my organization, I don't see my points.
I have correctly updated organization name in my profile.

You should use your organization's email id something like [email protected]
Then only your contributions will be added to your organization count. You cannot use domains like yahoo.com or hotmail.com is you don't belong to those organizations.

Customize view list in share point for the current user ?

So i have teo create a view for current user , and to do that i have an item named : "assigned to" so when i create my view i put : "assigned to" = [Me], and whene i check y list viw it'snt applayed ?

Regarding points in SDN

Hi all,
Up to now i did not bother about SND points..i was concern about forum points only...i did not look at remaining points in SN like...<b>reffer a person get 20 points, Edit your business card and get 10 points,</b>, Participate in a survey and get 20 points..hm its interesting...But now i was thinking how it works....
I started refering new members to SDN and spread the word 'SDN'.
And i participated in surveys etc..But uptonow..apart from Forum points i did not get any points...
I just wanted to know thats it..:)

Make sure that you only have one email address in use as your id.
I've seen a number of folks baffled as to where their points go, but have seen that often those points are being associated with an auxiliary address.
While Craig has been on a well-deserved vacation, some of the updates of promotional points have been frozen in his absence. I'm guessing this will be updated when he returns, making many members very happy

Using Customer Exit Code we can do it. Use offset values and do it.
Ex:
Create a Input Variable on Month . Then user will give value 05.2010.
Create new Selection in Columns and drag & drop Keyfigure and 0CALMONTH and restrict the 0CALMONTH with above Variable.
Create new Selection in Columns and drag & drop Keyfigure and 0CALMONTH and restrict the 0CALMONTH with above Variable and right click and set OffSet -1 which wil give data for 04.2010 Data.
Like that you need to use Customer Exit code to get 05.2009 data, see the examples in

Task flow return-Current Record pointing issue.

Hi friends
Newbie in ADF (basically from .net back ground)...........I am in the process of developing my first module.
I have a task flow where a master detail records are displayed ..When I click "Edit" it is calling a edit task flow where the editing of master/detail tables are performed .When I click "New" a blank record is created and it is calling same edit task flow.
my problem is when the child task flow exits and returns to the parent it is not pointing to the current record I edited...This is true if return either by commit or cancel.
My data control is shared , parent task flow does not have any transaction and child always starts a new transaction.
What is the ideal solution to point to the current record when I return?.

If my child task flow does not have a commit or rollback the above code works fine...But I am beginning a transaction in my child flow(edit flow) so it is a must to have commit/rollback.

Switching on Local Seciruty Handeling for GUI and pointing it to a server

We are looking to switch on local security handling for SAP gui 7.20 and point it to a new installation server to enable automatic patching. We already know about the registry entries -
HKLM\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAPsetup\SAPstart\AutoUpdate\SAPLogon.exe\UpdateMode
HKLM\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAPsetup\SAPstart\AutoUpdate\SAPLogon.exe\Prob
to switch on the update check when logging on but can anyone advise me what files need updating to make the update check look at a different server?

When I submit, I get the error message
"Attribute validation error for tag CFFILE.

P.S. I got it working, The filedirectoryYear path value was not the actual directory path\name in the filesystem. Once I had the

Team Foundation Service Reporting (is it possible to point it to a BI Tool or excel?)

Hi, I've read about TF Service and see that it has very limited reporting capabilities, but I have not been capable anything regarding pointing it to excel or a BI tool.
My question is:
would I have the ability to point it to a Bi tool or even Excel to the data cube to allow to run reporting?
If you can please tell me or refer me to a web page where I can see that, it would be great.

you're probably using the wrong forum as you're looking for TFS Service aka VisualStudio Online and not the on-premise TFS Server.

Load Transactional Data Current Year: 0PM_OM_OPA_1

Hi Experts,
We are doing load monitoring on dailiy basis, As we are doing some testing in the BW Development system, we are loading data into the cube 0PM_C01. we want to load the current year data (2007-2008). but whenever we are trying to load through the InfoPackage "Load Transactional Data Current Year: 0PM_OM_OPA_1" it doesn't delete previous load requests. It was initially configured with this option not selected. we recently changed it, but it still doesn't delete. The only difference we see between this load and others that do delete is that this one is executed from a process chain rather than an InfoPackage Group. What do we need to do to make it delete previous load requests?
And moreover the data is updated in the data target with two infosources namely 0PM_OM_PA_1 and 0PM_OM_PA_2.
Because you eliminated use of the four conditions, it deleted the delta initialization and delta update requests loaded from InfoSource 0PM_OM_OPA_2. We don't want it to do that!!! I'm not sure whether we had any test data in the cube that had been loaded from the flat file, but I imagine it would delete those as well. I believe we need all four conditions checked,
So please help me in this regard. points will be assigned.

0PM_OM_OPA_1 and 0PM_OM_OPA_2 , as they are loading the current year data.
we have scenario like this please give your valauble inputs.
I am still perplexed by the "Overlapping" option. Why doesn't the "Same or more comprehensive" option work? The requests we want it to replace have identical Data Selection because they were loaded by the same InfoPackage. The InfoPackage "Load Transactional Data Current Year: 0PU_IS_PS_2" (ZPAK_3RUTSXU2BWPBKELMBE0T6NS3U) uses the "Same or more comprehensive" option and it does delete previous requests. What is different about 0PM_OM_OPA_1?

WLC upgrade license and access point

Hi everyone,
I need suggestion regarding wlc 5508 upgrade license. Right now i have 150 license for access points. There will be upgrade around 300 access points. So we are planning to buy new license until the maximum capacity of 5508 (500 licenses).
Our management ip address is 192.168.50.x/24 . so all the access point are pointed to this management ip address (in the same subnet)
First question,
Because there will be an upgrade to around 450 access point. The current management ip address will not be enough.
Please, give me the best suggestion ?
Should i create another management ip address ? or I need to make a bigger subnet using the current management ip address ?
if i create a bigger ip address, the current access points must be set again yups ?
Second question
There will be a new link connected to the wlc, and i want to create new user subnets.
what is the best practices for this matter ?
if there are better suggestion, please let me know, i am still learning about wireless

For an example, a 5508 can support up to 500 AP's, and the AP's can be in one large subnet or be in many different subnets and or even different locations. As long as the ap knows how to discover the WLC or the ap already had joined the WLC, then the AP's don't have to be on the same subnet as the WLC. The easiest way to have AP's join is to stage them on the same subnet as the WLC management and then move them to a different subnet. I would probably have no more than 100 AP's per subnet, but that's me. Stage some AP's on the management subnet that the WLC is on and then when the AP's join and complete downloading code, change the switch port Vlan and shut and no shut the port. The ap will come back up and join the WLC.

Best practice for having an access point giving out only a specific range

Hey All,
I have an access point which is currently set to relay all dhcp request to the server DC-01, However the range that has been setup is becoming low on available IP addresses so I have been asked if it is possible to setup another range for the AP only.
Is there a way to set the DHCP up with a new range and say anything from that access point it will then give out a 192.168.2 subnet address as apposed to the standard 192.168.1 subnet?
Or would it be easier / better to create a superscope? and slowly migrate the users to a new subnet with a larger range?
Any help suggestions would be appreciated
