Regarding prod order operations scheduling

Hi all,
We are using CTM planning scenario.
After CTM planning, the operations in a planned order are scheduled as per the capacity available at
resource for each operation. So there is may be a gap between end time of one operation and start time of
the successive operation which is as expected.
Now the issue is:
In ECC, when the planned order is converted into production order, it is eliminating the time gaps between
operations and next operation is started immediately after end time of the preceding operation.
This is happening even after converting planned order into production order using conversion indicator in
APO.
The requirement is, in ECC, system should keep the operation times as scheduled in APO.
Please let me know if any details required.
Regards,
Yogesh

Hi,
Can you check the " Scheduling parameters for production orders" defind in ECC under Adjust scheduling tab
  the the various options defined.
Also enable the scheduling with breaks indicator and see whether you get the proper results.
Thanks,
nandha

    Hi PP Experts,
Could you please advise where's Scheduled finish time (field GLUZS) in the production order coming from?
Some prod order has 24:00 and other has 23:59.
    We want it as 23:59.
I changed the work centre's capacity Finish time (ENDZT), but still didn't get it right.

    Hi,
    2 Things:
    1. Are you sure you clicked on schedule order after changing values in WC?
    2. Control key ZT02 relevant for scheduling? Check in OP00
At my end, i did a small test & it works, so do a re-test at your end.

Also notice that active version is maintained as 1, so go intervals & shift in capacity details tab (shift + F12) & check the timings there.

  • Process Order operation scheduling duration calculation

    Hi
We have following formula has been maintained for processing time calculation in resource.
    Machine * ( Operation quantity / Base quantity / Operation splits ) + Setup + Change-over
As per above formula for following procee order qty and time, SAP caulates time.
    Opeartion qty - 100,
    Base qty - 100,
    Op split - 1
    Machine - 0.5 hrs (30 Mins)
Processing time calculated as 30 mins (.5hrs)
When I schedule the process order with same resource for same qty and machine time, processing time is calculated as 33 mins. We dont have maintained any floats in scheduling margin key in material master. We dont have any wait times also.
Can you please let us know why process order operation is having 3 mins tolerance? Any idea where such settings has been maintained?
    Any pointers will be helpful.

    Hi Mangalraj,
    Thanks for your reply.
We have not maintained ay reduction levels in OPUZ for plant and order type combination.
In resource, we have 2 hrs break time and total operating time is 18.50 hrs.
I got following SAP help link for calculation of duration for processing time.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/b1/c04387439a11d189410000e829fbbd/content.htm
Is processing time is calculated based on following formula.
Processing time u2013 Calculated Processing time * (1+ (Length of break / Operating time)
Can you please correct my understanding here?
    Thanks in advance.

Hi, i have created prod order with 3 operations. in 2nd operation with pp02 control key, i could not see purchase requisation no in ext processing tab of prod order. pls advise is there any setting req in spro?

    Hi,
Check the IMG setting, whether PP02 is activated for external processing. If that is OK, Release the order, Save it and then check in the external processing key. (CO02/CO03)

  • RE: Prod order automatic scheduling at creation level

    Hi All,
While creating Production order thru Backward scheduling, the system automatically scheduling but I need to schedule after creation manually. Any solutions to this issue.

    Hi,
If you have maintain scheduling type as Backward then system will ask you to maintain the Basic Finsh Date.
So my doubt is with your order type.Is it correct one for which you are creating the production order.
Now if you don't want to do the automatic scheduling and do this one manually then try this.
For that order type maintain scheduling type as only capacity requirements. After this system will not schedules the order automatically. All the dates you have to maintain manually. There is no scheduling at all.And if you want to schedules the order then change that scheduling type to backward in order itself (not in OPU3) and then press that scheduling tab.

  • Regarding prod. orders

    Hi Gurus,
Can anybody tell me pl. Suppose i have 2-3 production orders and i didnot want one of it then how can i delete that order?
    its urgent pl. tell me.
    Thanks,
    Niraj

    Hi Patil,
One cannot delete the production order, one can only set the deletion flag to the production order. Provided the  balance in the production order is zero. i.e. either no confirmation, goods issue, or goods receipts have happened hence the balance will be zero. Even if the above have happened then the order is to be settled and then the deletion flag can be settled.
The deletion flag can be set from the funtions menu-->deletion flag-->activate, in change of production order
Hope this will resolve your problem.
    Reward points suitably.
    Thanks & Regards.

  • Link between Prod Order and Sale Order schedule line

    Dear all,
    Ours is a MTO (81).
In Scheduling Agreement / Sale Order , there are multiple schedule lines for a single item .
Production Orders are generated for every schedule line of the Item.
The client wants to know (for a custom developed report) , against which schedule line of the Sched Agreement/ Sale Order, the Production Order is generated ?
This Information can be seen in MD04.But  I am not able to fetch from the tables .
The schedule line field (KDEIN ) is not updated in AFPO table & the order no (AUFNR) is not updated in VBEP table .

Schedule line/Dely date            Order qty          Prod Order No

    Dear Experts,
In varient configuration,I have maintain Super routing and Super bom for KMET material. While creation of prod order or converting plan order to prod order,Routing is not getting selected.I have maintained dependency and have checked Production sheduling profile, order type and order dependent parameter, all is ok.Even the Super Bom is getting selected after MRP run as per my requirment.

    Hi
For material Variant (FERT) production order Routing is not picking?Just check the Selection condition which is assigned to the operation is same as the selction of material variant i.e., Char & Char values has configured in MRP 3 View of Material variant.

  • Prod.Order Creation- Using Reference Operation set.

    Hi
While creating a production order of particular order type, after entering the quantity and order finish date as today's date(05.06.2007),backward scehduling,it's showing no routing found for the material (as we are using REM-Repetitive manufacturing,we are having rate routing) ,and in the same mesaage box itself I choosed the Reference operation set(that I have created today) and entered the  group no,and after entering its showing me an error as <b>Ref. operation set 50000008 is not valid according to the selection conditions</b>,
So I created a routing for the same material nd in MRP4 view of the same material under for selection method i kept blank(Selection by order qunatity) and tried to create Prod.order, and there was no problem, but if the same i'm trying to create using Reference operation set I'm not able to create the Production order.
Kindly give me a solution for this,Is there anything to do with order type dependent parameters of the particular order type?
    Thanks & Regards
    Raj

    Hi,
    Is your problem solved ?
One more solution to create a order with reference operation set,is to use a trigger point.
Once you create a reference operation set.
Use T.code co31 to create a trigger point, chosoe create order with reference & choose a system status eg: PCNF. & click the user parameter tab.
The system will aks for the reference operation set no & group counter.
Then assign this reference operation set to the routing operation.
When you do partial confirmation of this operation, this will trigger the generation of a order.

  • Scheduling Prod.order

    Hi Experts,
    Can anybody please tell me.
    SMK - 1 1 1
    In house prod. time - 2 days ( MRP 2 views )
There is no maintain any set, teardown, processing time in Routing.
    I created two prod.order. for quntity 1 & 200.Where I got following dates.
    Basic finish date - 10.03.2009
    Basic start date - 06.03.2009
Why dates are common for 1 & 200 quantity. It should have take more days for 200 quantity.

    Dear,
SMK - 1 1 1 it is independent to the order quantity. In house production time from materail master is also lot size independent.
While create the production order system take the timing from the routing so machine time only get multiplied by order quantity as it is lot size dpendent on that basis system define the scheduling date.
House production time in MRP 2  use when we run the MRP on basic date scheduling. It is also consider for claculting the lead time.
If you want lot time dependent in house time then you need to schedule the routing and update the material master through CA96. Then you will get in house time in work scheduling view.
    Hope clear to you.

  • Insert Ref Operation Set when routing already in Prod Order

    Dear exeperts,
Is is possible to insert a Ref Operation Set after a routing has been inserted in a prod order? I am getting the error Message no. CO892 which I can't resolve. I know for service orders there is not such constraint.
Thanks in advance to share your wisdom!
    Francois P.
Ref. operation set 50000148 is not valid according to the selection conditions
Check why the reference operation set does not meet the selection conditions:
    1. Is it valid on 2010/07/16?                   OK
    2. Is lot size  within its validity area?     OK
    3. Is the selection ID for routing selection (Customizing: order type- dependent parameters) of a type that allows reference operation sets to be selected?              OK parameter routing selection = 5
    4. If the reference operation set has a change number, is it valid for production on 2010/07/16? OK

All right, just found what I was missing: a record in config OPEB.

  • Work order operation number in Production Scheduling

    Hi,
We are using production scheduling for scheduling the discrete jobs. In production pegging view, the work order operation is shown in number "xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" not the name of the operation. Is there any setup required to display operation name? Any patch required?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
I have face similar issue in deleting PO line items.
Even though I delete items, system check budget for deleted qty with the currency conversion + value & gives budget exceed error.
In some cases we have asked user to deactivated AVAC asked to do the transaction, which is not recommended.
You can try running CJBN & CJBV in sequence for affected WBS.

  • Difference between Order Header BSD and operation schedule SSD

    Hi,
One of your Client is operating on SAP 4.7
There are some cases where Order Header Basic Start Date and operation Schedule Date are no same.
    example:
Present Order Basic Start Date 24.06.2011
Present Order Basic Finish Date 01.07.2011
    Forward Schedled order.
    Operation 1
    Operation 2
Work Center has sufficient capacity and is available to perform work 24hrs.
Using planning board CM10 user dispatches operation 1 to 30.06.2011 and operation 2 to 01.07.2011.
The problem is order basic start date is remaining same i.e. 24.06.2011 and not chaning to 30.06.2011.
Can any one please help in this issue.

yes for all order types and also i have observed that most of work order has basic start date as 24.06.2011 when all the operations of orders are scheduled in future dates (date other than 24.06.2011).
The first time scheduling of work order operation is done on 24.06.2011 (CM10) and then after re-scheduling (through IW38) of operation changed the schedule start date but work ordre basic start date remained same i.e 24.06.2011.
Dispite of first time scheduling and then re-scheduling basic start date remained 24.06.2011.
Note: Same profile was selected in both CM10 and IW38 while accessing planning board.
