Regarding projector display

Hi! I just want to ask, how can you show different display in projector (like wallpapers) while you're organizing your presentation files for a report? In such a way that the audience won't see the display in your laptop while organizing your files. Thank you!

There is a checkbox in Displays system preference to put it in the menu bar. The menu bar item has a mirroring setting. You don't need to open the preference to change it.

MBA TBtoVGA dongle projector display connect fail

latest macbook air 13" (MBA) with thunderbolt (TB) adapter
OSX 10.7.2
official apple TB to VGA adapter
6 foot VGA cable to projector
EPSON projector (older model)
turn on projector
turn on MBA
connect VGA cable to projector
connect VGA other end to VGA adapter
plug in the TB end of adapter into MBA
expected: projector seamlessly connects and resolves the resolution (this happens for windows based laptops where resolution on projector is automatically resized)
actual result: laptop tries to connect, LCD on MBA flickers, projector is recognized by the MBA but projector display still stays in idle mode and shows nothing as if nothing is connected to the projector.
please help, i've seen only one thread about this exactly same issue when running windows7 dualboot on mac. updating drivers resolved this problem but there is nothing available on MBA for display updates and no other solutions have been provided.
Note: i was able to connect to another projector and that worked flowlessly.

I did finally manage to resolve this. I ended up purchasing a smattering of connectors from Monoprice, and their standard Mini-DisplayPort-to-VGA connecter has connected without a hitch to every display which was previously causing trouble. Why this should work where the officially supported adapter did not, I cannot say.

Regarding ALV display

I would like to know how to give them some names so that they can be distinguished from each other by there name.

Hi Jaison,
the easiest way to achive this, is to do the subtotaling with or without detailed lines by changing the ALV variant when in display.
When you save the ALV layout(variant), in the popup you have a "Save with" tab. There is "Breakdwn to totals lvl:" entry. You ca select the level of sum displayed.
After saving layout variant, you can pass it depending on users input in structured parameter IS_VARIANT. Yo need to fill report field with report name and variant with layout name.
Best is, to have a layout selection parameter. In Initialization, fill it using FM REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_DEFAULT_GET, AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR P_layout, use REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_F4.
This makes your report far more flexible.

Urgent: regarding output display problem

hi,
i had made dis report for displaying changes made to a purticular material in a purticular month.
d poblem is dis when i check a materail in MM04 which use to display a change made to a single material and when i check further that what changes had made it shows 4 changes but when i check my report it shows only 2 changes had been made.
plzz help me out as help will be definately rewarded.

i think u have got a problem with the selection criteria "date"
because i have cross checked the code you have developed and through the transaction
it is impeccably right
i think the selection of date in your report should be the range of dates in which they have been modfiied/changed

Stuck in Projector display???

I recently plugged my Macbook Pro into a projector for a presentation, and ever since my display has been stuck in the projector mode (too wide for the screen, strange looking). Anyone know how to reset the display to normal? Thanks!

Depending on your computer the native resolution will vary. so just keep changing resolutions until things look back to normal!

Regarding Subform display problem(URGENT)

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement......I am passing 3 tables from interface to form layout...I want to display data from these tables to different subforms based on some condition
for ex...........
table T1 passing to subform S1
table T2 passing to subform S2
table T3 passing to subform S3
My requirement is these subform should be display only based on some condition like if some value is there in table T1 then only S1 subform should be display otherwise not.
Please suggest me what script i will write for this.

Hi,
You have to write in form calc under form ready event.
As of now, i dont have any system to check.You can check any standard forms like vendor statement / customer statement which have page totals.
for example, drag the S1 subform into one more sumforn with flow content say SS1.Write the below (similar) code.

You have the data in internal as below format..if you pass this to alv it displays in the same foramt..which is not your requiremnt.
Example.
You have data in the internal table..
20 LNTP LSTP LNTP LTPS
40 LSTP PNTR PN26 P2C2.
Now you take another internal table with two fields and populate it as shown below and build the fieldcataog for this and pass to ALV
Line no. FIELD
20        LNTP
          LSTP
          LNTP
          LTPS

          P2C2

Regarding Messages Display

Hi..
I am taking the LIFNR as input through Select-Options. In the LPS i'm displaying his purchase header details.
If no purchse data exists for particular vendor...then Im diaplaying one information message.
But after clicking on message popup box....its going to LPS and displaying TOP-OF-page.
How can I avoid TOP-OF-PAGE execution.

and with ALV tree method (BCALV_TREE_01),the layout is displaying the nodes at the left side and data right side;some like split screen.
Can any one help me out without split screen how to get the nodes and data in one screen as above.

There is no such object as S_CODE. Is it a typo ? should it be S_TCODE ? But even in S_TCODE object there is no REMOVE field.
After creating the ZSPRO_VIEW and assigned to user. User can go to tcode SPRO, but when drilling down, for example
SPRO --> Controlling --> General Controlling --> Organization --> Maintain Versions
will hit by the message "You are not authorised to use Transaction SM34"
same message prompted at the bottom of the screen if try other structure in SPRO.
my work around is to add another object S_TCODE and assign * to the field TCD. after this, most of the item in SPRO structure can be execute with DISPLAY only.
not sure if this is the right way to do.

Regarding list display + button on application tool bar

I have a requirement like i need to select one particular record in the list display and prees on the button which is placed on the application tool bar.Then i should get one more screen where i can enter some details.
As per my knowledge it is possible only in grid display.
