Regarding Query_only view in AP module

Hi Guys,
In AP, we have suppliers form where they can create new suppliers. I want to give some users view only access so that they can just query for the existing suppliers without creating or modifying the new ones or existing ones.
How can we achieve this. Help Appreciated

If you are talking about Oracle Forms, then you can use the parameter QUERY_ONLY="YES" with the form function and include this function to the resp through the menu.

Think that you want to buy television or computer and how will you proceed for that.
1. Material Requirement : Your family will ask you that they need television so that is material requirement from the users (family), they will also give additional information like what is the size of TV, which brand etc
2. Quotation (Inquiry) : now you have requirement that you need one TV so you will looking for different vendors i.e. Phillips, Sharp, AIWA, Deawood and ask them to give the prices and other terms (free shipping, service after sales ) for TV
3. Quotation comparision : Once you get the price from all your supplier, you will make comparision on price and other terms also you can negotiate the price with vendor asking for discounts, free door delivery
4. Vendor Selection: Based on your negotiation you will identify the best deal and place order to that vendor.
5. Purchase order : You will place order to vendor asking for material (TV), for certain price on particular date at particular location (you home).
6. Goods Receipt : Once vendor delivers TV then you will receive the material at your location
7. Invoice receipt: Vendor will send the invoice with that delivery and you will check the price and make the payment to vendor,

hello .. i need some help regarding select options in a module pool program .. i hav tried putting a select options in a module pool prog but i am not able 2 ... can any one tel me why select options r not aloowed in a module pool prog ?? and i read that we hav 2 use ranges 2 fulfil the needs of the select options . is there any way i cal get all the functionality of select options ( eg including , excludig , equal to , not equal to , .... .) using a range ??

Select-options won't work if you declare the program as Module POOL.
if you wants to use select-options like utility in module pool programming
use ranges
declare and develop ranges and use that in select statement where condition.

Images in loupe view of library module of LR4 are not always focusing. Why?

Have just upgraded my whole system to get LR4 to work at an acceptable speed- including 16gb ram, 1TB hard disc. When importing RAW images are copying them to DNG and doing 1:1 prewiew at that time. After finishing working in the develop module when I try to look at the images in loupe view in library module many of the images remain unfocused- If i export as jpeg to hard disc they are fine.I need to be able to view ,rate and select images in LR

Facing a Problem
Iam trying to create view(database view)for vbak and vbap and given in Tables in Table/Join Conditions tab and clicked in Relationship and the relantionship has been generated automatically,now when i tried to activate this view its saying like "No tables and/or fields are defined for view xxxxx(xxxx-> name of a view)
what will be the problem?pl let me know how to create a view?
And also I need to know the diffference between database view,Manintenance view,Projection view and help view?
Pl let me know on this?

How can I quickly configure & save different views in Develop module?

Is there a method to quicky switch custom views (including my favourite selections for Panels, Toolbars, Window's Bars, and Info Overlay)?
In the "Develop" module, I would like to switch quickly from (1) seeing all panels, etc. to (2) seeing only my image and the right-side panel. There must be a better procedure than what I do now (please don't laugh). I use about six keystrokes as shown below:
(a) turn off top, left-side, and bottom Panels by clicking each individually,
(b) press the "t" key to turn off the Toolbar,
(c) press the "f" key to turn off Window's two top bars and one bottom bar, and
(d) press the [Ctrl-i] key combo to turn off the Info Overlay.
At other times in the "Develop" module, I use about six keystrokes to turn all these hidden objects back on!
I am using "Lightroom 2.5" with Windows Vista Home Premium.

Thank you, johnbeardy, for your suggestion of "Solo Mode". Checking "Help" for "Solo", I discovered the Windows\Screen Mode menu for the 1st time -- it helps. While right-clicking the panels, I also found "Sync with Opposite Panel" which allows me to turn both the top and bottom panels On or Off with only one click. (the LR book that I use doesn't cover these items).
However, I have not yet benefited form "Solo Mode". I turned it On for both left and right panels, but it doesn't appear to make any difference, even after I closed and re-opened LR. Is there something else I need to set to make "Solo" work? Is it applicable for only the left and right panels?

Survey view in Library module is unfair

Whenever I'm using survey view in the Library module to select a few photos, and I'm having photos of both landscape and portrait orientation, either one of them is displayed considerably smaller than the other.
I think it would be nice if both orientations were displayed the same size, like in grid view, because when I select from a collection of photos, I slightly tend to favor photos that are bigger.

Regarding selection view in ldb KDF

Hello All,
In logical db KDF when i go to selection view i can see three function groups ie vendor master companycode and documents with their respective ids.
But when i execute report related with this logical database like tcode f.42 adn fbl1n i can see only two options in dynamic selections ie vendor master and company code where as documents option is missing
How can i get documents options back in the report or is there any program to regenerate these dynamic selections

When I run the T-code FBL1N at my place and click on Dynamic selections button,what I see that there are all the three options--Vendor Master,Company Code and Documents available.
You need to observe that against Vendor number there is no input box available but all the fields available under it till Company Code belong to Vendor Master.Similarly,all the fields mentioned under Comaony Code belong to Company Code and likewise all the fields mentioned under Documents like Special G/L Indicator,Assignment,Document number etc. belong to Document.

tables having no common field between them and thereby preventing you from creating a view on top of those tables..
Or simply consider tables that are highly unrelatd in terms of fields, but you have a requiremnt to extract data from them.

Regarding Calculation in Oracle Incentive module of Oracle Application R12

Hi,
We are facing a problem during 'CALCULATION'in ORACLE INCENTIVE OCMPENTSATION MODULE version R12 (12.0.5) .
It takes long time to execute in a system and also doesn't show the Status as 'COMPLETE' in case of complete.
This issue occurs in perticular development instance and We have observed that the CALCULATION take place very short to complete the process in different dev instances.
We do 'CALCULATION' through Responsibility : - Compensation Manager--> Calcualte compensation

Deepak,
The issue depends on many factors. One volume u are testing between instances, the way the plan is set up. if the plan is not set up right way or you have huge volumes, you may see these kind of issue.
You may want to analyze reuqirements and plan configuration. This may give somes ideas on how to fix this.

Hi Nareshreddy,
You cannot know who has viewed a program. However, you can know who has changed the program through SAP version management (Utilities -> Versions -> Version Management).

Need help regarding Modal dialog box in module pool programming

my program need a dialo box to popup and take some data and on pressing save button in the dialog box, the popup should close and the values in the previous screen should be updated.
my problem is, when i execute the program, i am unable to close the dialog box. i tried use sy-ucomm but found it of no use.
