Regarding Query_only view in AP

Hi Guys,
In AP, we have suppliers form where they can create new suppliers. I want to give some users view only access so that they can just query for the existing suppliers without creating or modifying the new ones or existing ones.
How can we achieve this. Help Appreciated

If you are talking about Oracle Forms, then you can use the parameter QUERY_ONLY="YES" with the form function and include this function to the resp through the menu.

Regarding selection view in ldb KDF

Hello All,
In logical db KDF when i go to selection view i can see three function groups ie vendor master companycode and documents with their respective ids.
But when i execute report related with this logical database like tcode f.42 adn fbl1n i can see only two options in dynamic selections ie vendor master and company code where as documents option is missing
How can i get documents options back in the report or is there any program to regenerate these dynamic selections

When I run the T-code FBL1N at my place and click on Dynamic selections button,what I see that there are all the three options--Vendor Master,Company Code and Documents available.
You need to observe that against Vendor number there is no input box available but all the fields available under it till Company Code belong to Vendor Master.Similarly,all the fields mentioned under Comaony Code belong to Company Code and likewise all the fields mentioned under Documents like Special G/L Indicator,Assignment,Document number etc. belong to Document.

Hi Nareshreddy,
You cannot know who has viewed a program. However, you can know who has changed the program through SAP version management (Utilities -> Versions -> Version Management).

What is use of Selection Views in LDB ??
and how can we generate different Selection Views in LDB because i am getting only two Options either SAP or CUS for every LDB ??
I want to declare 4-5 and how to use Those Selection Views ( as by default it takes SAP one or newly generated one)

Regarding Narrative View

We are unable to see the check box "Contains HTML Markup" in Narrative View.

No Ally.. In 'Static Text' view also it is not there... Also, checked it in HTML Text Dashboard page properties component, here also that option is not present.

Regarding interface views inside a view.

Hi,
We have a screen in which a view uses interface views of two other components.
Depending on the link clicked anyone of the interface view should be displayed in the bottom of this main view.
I am using view container UI element for this requirement. Are there any ways of switching the interface view in a single view container element.. instead of creating two of them, each for one interface view.?

Yes, it is possible.
Create 2 outbound plugs in outer view, link them to corresponding inbound plugs of interface views.
Now on action fire one forementioned plugs.

Just needed some clarification regarding the Viewer Builder and actually publishing your App...

If someone could let me know if my understanding is correct, that'd be a huge help... So I've designed my publication in InDesign and exported the .zip file from the Folio Producer. I've created all of my certificates/splash screens/icons. Lastly, I just recently went through the steps of the Viewer Builder. I'm now at the stage of this process that requires me to purchase the $395 single edition so that I can enter the serial number in the last stage of the Viewer Builder. Now, to my knowledge, once I get the serial number, Viewer Builder will then give me access to an .ipa file and a .zip file. The .ipa file is for me to test on my iPad, and the .zip would be used to distribute to the App Store. I guess this is where I get confused... Let's say after I test the .ipa on my iPad, I don't like some part of my publication. I know how to update my own documents obviously, and I understand that I would have to export another .zip file from the Folio Producer, in turn requiring me to edit the exported folio link in the Viewer Builder. If I had to do that, would I need to purchase another single edition serial number since the original App was edited? Or would the same serial number apply since I'm editing that same App in the Viewer Builder? My next question is somewhat similar. Let's say all of the information is up to date and I go ahead and publish the App to the App Store. However, maybe a month later or some time in the future, I needed to update a phone number or email address--some little detail like that. Again, I understand that I'd have to update the export link in the Viewer Builder, but would I then need to create a new app since my app was already published? Would I then have to purchase another $395 single edition serial number just so that I can update my information? This seems to be the only thing in this whole process that I could use some clarification on so that I don't run into any surprises in the future. Any help would be great, thanks!

When you have purchased the serial, you can rebuild your app with your updated content, as long as you use the same bundleID (applicationID), that is tied to your Apple mobile provisioning profile. The serial number is valid for a one year period.

Data from several tables can be summarized in a maintenance view and maintained collectively via this view. Creation of Views:
1.Go to se11
2. select view radiobutton and give a name
3. Create
4. select type of view you want to create. Such as database view.
5. give short description
6. give a table name such as mara
7. press the pushbutton relationship. here you will find all the tables which are allowed to create view with mara.
8. select one or mane tables.
8 copy
9.save , check and activate.

I am using Visual Compsoer 7.0. I have a table in my iview. When i go to the layout tab and right click the table. I cant see the options like "CUSTOMIZE TOOLBAR", where i can insert a row in my table. How can i have this option in VC 7.0?

Doubt Regarding Materialized View

Hello,
I am working on Oracle 10g.
We have multiple materialized Views which we Refresh in every 15 mins. My question is that can we get data from these MV's for a particular date....??

When i am Executing a query ..which was mentioned in the earlier post...m getting a particular error.
My Query
select * from db_rational_status_reaffirm_mv as of timestamp sysdate-1
Error m Getting
ORA-01555: snapshot too old : rollback segment number 4 with name "_SYSSMU4$" too small
Any Solution ..?

I have materialized view mv_test which is derived from a base table test. My question is if I modify any of the column width of table test,do it effect on materialized view refresh?If so what are the procedures I need to follow if I want to modify the base table column size?

(Materialized) View is nothing but a select statement that will get executed on the base table when the view is accessed. So, you don't have to do anything special on the view when you change the datatype of the base table.
If so what are the procedures I need to follow if I want to modify the base table column size?You don't have to follow any procedure as such. Just make sure your data in the base table does not get affected by the change ;-)

Problem regarding Materialized View

I have a master table "nms_num_schm" on SID-SLBANCS and its corresponding materialized view "mlog$_nms_num_schm". The MV is supposed to move data from this master table to a table "nms_num_schm_mv" on SID-ORCL.
The MV is set to select data after every 5 mins and the db link is also set. also the grants have also been provided.
I inserted the data in master table and data populated in the mlog table.But the problem is that its staying in mlog table and not moved to the "_mv" table even after 1 hr.Even though snaptime is populated with a time of refresh,the refresh didnt happen.
So 3 things here -
1) Why did the refresh didnt happen
2) If the refresh didnt happen because of any issue/error, where can I check what was the issue.
3) To make things worse, there are 17 more tables such similar setup. Some data refresh works sometimes, sometimes not.
Please provide your valuable comments to resolve the same.

Question Regarding "Show View Options"

Good morning!
I have a question and I am hoping someone here on the Apple Support Communities will be able to assist me.
I am using a MacBook Air and have downloaded the latest iOS (Mavericks). I have my iTunes application open and in the menu area, under "View" there is a selection called "Show View Options" but when I click on that selection, nothing happens. Does anyone know why I cannot get the "View Options" to appear?

No simple or known solution. Just hit CMD+2 and the window will retain the list view. It's one of my bugaboos and I've filed a bug report, but it hasn't been added.
