How the systems R3 window is coming?Give some brief description or suggest some sites.

Regarding Main Window issue

hi all,
I developed one Smartform Work Order.
My Requirement is after Completion of Main Window some texts like Terms of Payment and Penalty Clause( These we maintained in texts in PO) needs to come.
Suppose i am displaying 10 line items . after completion of 10 line items Terms of payment needs to come and next page should start from first line onwards with whatever ending in the first page. It should not start from middle(beacause we define main window from middle ) and also for every page back side terms & conditions needs to come.
How can we achieve this.
Please suggest.

You cannot see it in print preview... try to check it by taking print..
Regarding printing of terms and conditions after the line items... you can create a text node after the loop node and print the terms and conditions.
It should not start from middle(beacause we define main window from middle )
I guess this would be difficult to achieve.. i would like to suggest you to trigger a new page with main window height increased not the width of the main window

Suppose i displayed 4 line items but height of main window is more. it need to adjust to 4 line items.
suppose i displayed 6 line items it needs to adjust 6 line items.

In smartforms, in the main window U have to create the table and then display the line item data in the body of the table . this will solve ur problem as if the number of line item increase then the size of the table increases dynamically.....

Regarding main window in page2

Hi,
My requirement is i have to display basic rent header data in first page and their (Basic item details) in second page.So I am using one main window in page1 and other main window in page2.In page one am getting the main window data finely but am not getting main window in second page where i make a mistake.Please tell me.

Can i control the portlet window size during runtime? Is there any API that i can implement so that i get the changes in the size of the portlet window based on some condition. Based on different conditions/events, there should be changes in the portlet window size during runtime.

Main window is not at all mandatory in SMARTFORMS, You may use it or not
SO it depends upon your data.
you can use a main window in as many pages as you want or dont use it at all.
But same data will be printed in all the pages you use MAIN WINDOW

Regarding LR Windows slowness...

I'm just curious how many people reporting slow performance have either Outlook 2007 or Office 2007 installed.
I just uninstalled Microsoft Desktop Search and the Library has sped up considerably.

Hi NigelL, have you tried LR on a clean OS reinstall? It sounds like you've tuned your system well. I did that initially on both of my XP laptops going through registry cleanings, monitoring pagefile/memory utilization and scrutinizing XP services to disable (I really didn't want to reinstall as I have lots of apps and customized configs) but it was nowhere as good as a reinstall. Acronis True Image has a free trial (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/) and it's very easy to image your current system and try a reload of XP SP2 then apply updates and install LR.
The LR software requirements just state the following (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshoplightroom/productinfo/systemreqs/), but as we all know 2GB+ RAM is best.
Your P4 2.8HT should be plenty fast.
Here are my hardware specs:
-Dell 700m laptop (2yrs old), 2GHz Centrino (not dual core), 1.5GB RAM, no dedicated video card (think 128MB Intel 950 shared), 100GB 7200RPM SATA HD, running at 1280x800 resolution
-Dell 9400 laptop (1yr old), 2GHz C2D, 2GB RAM, 128MB ATI X1400, 100GB 7200RPM SATA HD, running at 1920x1200 resolution
Both have XP SP2 clean install on primary NTFS partition with all XP updates applied:
- only major service turned off is Indexing (no Windows desktop search), left rest of XP services at XP Pro defaults; no more tweaking
- swap file left for system to manage, previously tried setting at 1.5XRAM and putting on another partition but doesn't make any difference after reinstall
- have reinstalled Norton AV/Firewall, but set scan/protection exclusions for LR index file, LR preview cache folder, Photo folder ... and because I'm paranoid, also set exclusions for XMP, JPG, CR2 and any file type associated with my photos and LR database; now AV doesn't cause any noticeable delays in using LR
- monitor calibrations done with ColorVision Spyder2 Pro
- LR installed to primary partition alongside XP; set to 1440 pixel size standard previews, medium quality, write XMP enabled (if I'm doing lots of changes I'll turn off and write XMP manually later but this is only slight performance gain now)
- LR database and preview cache stored on 2nd partition
8000+ Canon 1DMarkII CR2 RAW (some JPG/TIF) files accessed via FW400 external hard drive. Import without creating standard previews, then create previews after import finished (takes a looong time).
Dell 700m takes about 4-5sec max to fully refresh when page up/down library, takes 2sec for keywords input to clear, 2sec to create 1:1 previews. Dell 9400 takes 2-3sec to refresh when moving around library, sometimes less, also about 2sec for keyword input. I'm building a stock photo library so have 5-10 keywords per image.
LR used to lockup when keywording and had to wait 5+sec before could continue. The timing varies and my tests are by no means scientific. Everyone reports different numbers as LR/XP probably caches in memory. We all have different opinions of what is useable, but I can tell you for sure that I found browsing library, develop and keywording painful and infuriating prior to reinstall.
Now my Dell 700m is very useable and my 9400 is perfect, no lockups, no memory low error messages yet. Away from home I use the 700m with a 5400RPM USB2 hard drive and it's only slightly slower. Again, very useful compared to before. Oh, I reboot my XP systems several times a day and every time before I launch LR. I also try not to use any other apps while LR is running.
I've also reinstalled all my apps, Office 2003 etc and no degradation on LR performance. I'm very happy with how LR runs on my 2 XP systems now - of course the usual gripes remain (don't get me going on that ...) but I can at least work with my photos until LR is updated.
NOW, I also have two new 3wk old Apple laptops, not the most recent release announced, but Best Buy and Future Shop Canada were clearing out at bargain basement prices so I couldn't resist.
Black MacBook, 2GHz C2D, 2GB RAM, 120GB 5400RPM HD
MacBook Pro 15", 2.16GHz, C2D, 2GB RAM, 160GB 5400RPM HD
Both have latest OS X updates, HD not partitioned so LR installed alongside OS. Photos can be accessed via my 120GB 5400RPM USB2 Western Digital Passport external HD and there is only slight lag time in anything I do in LR. LR settings are same as on my XP machines. These are dream machine, no tweaking of OS, just ran out of the box! I was going to run them on my FW800 hard drives but since they're plenty fast on USB2 I'm not going to bother with reformatting my drives in Mac HPF file format.
If reinstall doesn't work then I'm not sure what else is going on with your system. Both of my Dell and Apple systems are pretty generic stock (other than perhaps a HD/RAM upgrade I did) not custom-built like previous desktop systems I had. They are all on Intel CPUs so not sure if there's an interaction between AMD, different RAM and motherboards manufacturers etc.
In conclusion, LR works well enough on my 2yr old (out in the field) XP laptop, great on my 1yr old XP laptop, excellent on my Apple laptops. As I mentioned on another post, it's night and day right now between OS X and XP versions of LR but the gap will undoubtedly narrow in future releases. I know not everyone is fortunate enough to have 4 laptops and 4 external hard drives to play around with so I hope these comparisons helps others who are also having problems/skepticisms with LR on XP.

Regarding my windows key

Sir, Due to some reasons my windows 7 and recovery disks are corrupted. Service center guys told me that the disks are unable to load the OS. Now when i wanted my windows 7 product key they were unable to tell the same because it is not visible clearly at the bottom. Pls tell me the procedure to get my windows key back. Pls do reply

The code must be written after the "building" of the internal table to be output is ended.
Lets call this table t_inttab, and the table to be displayed in ALV will be t_outtab (same structure)
Before displaying ALV, count the lines of t_inttab, and if > 100 then call one of the many POPUP function to ask "number of record to display out of n" or "display records from;to"
Then INSERT LINES OF t_inttab FROM idx1 TO idx2 INTO TABLE t_outtab.
And display ALV on outtab. Put also an option on the ALV toolbar to change the range values and force re-display of grid/list.

Macbook 15" Pro Retina under Windows 8.1 is constantly overheating because of lack of Iris Pro graphics driver

This issue must have been raised many times already. The problem is that modern Macbook Pros under Windows are limited to NVidia graphics making Intel Iris Pro graphics unavailable. And Nvidia graphics in its turn produces pretty much heat, sometimes to the point when it "boils" on your lap.
As an answer to this i heard that Windows is somehow limited (i honestly doubt this in regards to Windows 8.1) and doesn't support dual graphics and other stuff. Well, then give users an option to completely turn off NVidia graphics and use Iris Pro only. Is this possible?

Unfortunately, there is no way to switch. It requires removal of the BC/Windows and re-installation in EFI mode. W7 has some challenges with EFI mode, but W8+ are much better. If you want to try the EFI method, then
1. Backup Windows and all your files.
2. Remove Windows using BCA (do not use any other tools) - Boot Camp: Remove Windows from your Mac
3. Create a partition of the size you want the Windows to be, using Disk Utility. This should be a Free Space partition.
4. Use the Windows Installer and choose EFI boot from the USB built using BCA.
5. Install Windows. The Free Space partition will be split into a 128MB MSR and the remainder as MS Data which will become NTFS during the Windows installation.

Creative and Windows Media Pla

Hi- I'm looking in to getting a MP3 player soon and am currently on bouncing between the iPod 20GB, Creative Zen touch or Zen Micro- I'm mainly concerned with battery life and the sturdiness of the player (and the radio feature on the creatives sounds great too)
My question is regarding using Windows Media Player with the Creative Zens.. I read somewhere that it is compatible with these players, does anyone use this program with your mp3 player? I really like WMP (so much more than iTunes) and would prefer to use that to the other programs Creative offers with its players.
