Regarding Regional Font in MI

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement like I have to create the MI applications in English as well as in Hindi (an Indian language). The application is ready, now I have to upgrade it to support Hindi language only, mainly the labels and hard-coded text should come in hindi also. I have the hindi font, named Shusha, installed in the system.
Can anyone guide me on how to achieve this.

Questions regarding xft fonts, and awesome wm

Hi, I just tried ArchLinux yesterday and loving it!
I use JWM, but am very interested in dwm/awesome wm. I do have some questions:
1. On a thread in the forum, it is mentioned that dwm has no Xft support. How useful exactly is Xft? Would it impact on design work involving GIMP/Inkscape/Scribus?
2. Does awesome have Xft support?
3. I installed awesome, but I have no idea on what keys to use. The shortcuts are different from dwm. I tried to look for quick tutorial just to get the basics (dwm has one on their website), but seems like all documentation I found have none of that section and go straight to configuration.
Do I actually have to configure the wm before I can use it at a very basic level?
4. I would like to do some more comparison between wms, trying to find a good balance for me in regards of lightness and functions I need. However, I have no idea on what to use to keep track of cpu/memory usage for all the wms. What's a good way to do this?

Welcome to Arch!
1. The lack of xft support in dwm mostly just means that you won't get anti-aliased fonts in the status bar. Individual applications will still have the same font support they had before you used dwm.
2. Awesome uses pango for font rendering, which is even better than xft.
3. Look at the man page for default key bindings. It's more or less usable out of the box, but you will definitely want to customize it somehow.
4. A good system monitor is htop. Install it from the repos and run it from a terminal.

BOXI 3.0 - Strange behaviour in infoview regarding regional settings

Requirement: Currency to be shown in Brazil format (##.###,00)
We have a requirement where all financials in reports should be in a Brazil format (##.###,00).
As the report is built in Deski (.rpt) therefore u201CPreferred Viewing Localeu201D setting in infoview will not work (works only for .wdl- webi reports).
We followed below steps in Deski report to meet our requirement:
Tools -> options -> Language -> Unsupported Language -> Portuguese(Brazil)->checked the option u201Dmigration forcedu201D.
It worked perfectly when run in deski.We published the report in infoview but didnu2019t see any change in format, it was still showing us in English(US).For testing purpose we published the copy of same report and could see the changes. But after refreshing few times the formatting got disappeared.
Please help how to get the desired behavior in infoview.

But the problem is we have reports for country UK,AUS,US ..etc as well in our repository.If we change the regional settings the format will change for these reports too.We want this format only for Brazil reports ..so this solution won't work in our case.
Why is Unsupported Language settings not working in infoview (we have applied this settings in Brazil reports only)...or is there anything that i have missed in settings?

Regarding Embedded fonts

Hi All,
I have applied embedded fonts in my application using CSS file.Issue we are facing for components like Titlewindow,Panel and Alert in which Header style is not reflecting with the embedded font family instead maintaining with its default font.I have also mentioned the CSS sample below for ur reference.@font-face{

Regarding Region in Customer General Data

Dear SAP Guru's ,
I have added a new region to the country OM (Oman )
01 Muscat.
from SPRO> NEtweaver> General Settings-->Insert region.
But After Inseting the region :
the warning message appears"Check Data and proceses dependent on new country.
I have checked the message from the message bank
It says "Customer is from an EC country; specify a VAT reg.no."
What Should I do I do not have any vat configured in my company code...

Regarding region lock (Australia)

A couple of questions:

Regarding Regions and Attributes

I am using Regions and Attributes to display a page in supplier portal. I had define all the Attributes in that region. One of the attribute is of type poplist ie Item Style is poplist. I am using picklist view object Definition to get the values from the table. It is an xml file in which i have written a query to get the values. Here is the XML file

FCE vs iMovieHD in regards to fonts and picture quality

I have been using iMHD for some time and really like it. However, when I import pictures and import slides from Keynote (rendered to qt files), they are really pixillated out. Does FCE handle font rendering better? Just curious.

Don't know. But You can judge the final quality in iMovie - iMovie HD 6 and FinalCut E & P by
connecting Your miniDV FW Camera and to it's analog side a TV-set.
You also need to set iMovie pref: to playback via Camera
Now the picture that You see the Final quality on the TV-screen.
The Mac-monitor just showes an approx to be able to play fast enough. But this "Viewer" is not
enough for judging: sharpness, color, brightness and contrast. You also see the TV-safe area
by doing like this.

Using Multiple Spry datasets? - regarding Regions: DetailContainer/DetailRegion

Hi Spry experts:
I've been battling a good battle: Spry datasets and mobile app development. I'm making headway, but as is true in life, there are problems. I've professor googled for several days related to the current issue without success. I'm throwing in the towel and asking for help.
I have a jquery mobile project I am developing in dreamweaver cs 5.5. I created a Spry HTML dataset to populate 3 lists on separate pages. Each list page is populated by a single html file that contains 3 tables with different ids.
Each table has 3 rows (name, image, desc). Each list is populated using the "name" field from each table. The lists part is all working just fine.
However, when a list item is selected (clicked), it is supposed to take the user to another page (details). There are three details pages--one for each list. These pages are for the item details. Each details page uses the same basic code. Only one page works. If I switch the location of the detail pages in DW, the page that is closest to the list pages is the one that works. I know that I am doing something that is pretty plain to someone who knows Spry, but I'm lost as to what to do next. I've tried multiple fixes and read many Spry documents. A HUGE thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answer. If you need more information, please let me know.
The expected behavior is that whatever list item is clicked the item should jump to the details page and load the data.

Font support

Does Motion has support for regional font, I need Croatian ŠĐĐČĆŽ.
I try but only few fonts are OK, other fonts has missing fonts, is there some font editor, to change fonte looks, how to resolve this problem?

Hi,
It is not a question of Motion support. The font itself must support other languages. Most opentype fonts do - the format supports much more character sets than standard true type fonts. Small font foundries usually do not have man power or expertise to create a full language support so they create only a basic latin set.
As for font editors:
commercial - Fontographer
freeware - Font Forge.
Be carefull though, I guess not all font licenses allow to edit contens of the font file.
Ninja's tip: edit the text in Illustrator, draw the missing characters, convert the text to outlines, save as an PDF and import into Motion. Of course, you can't use text behaviors then, but with keyframes and other behaviors you can recreate the look.

How does one change the font size for folders and/or file lists in the '''Bookmarks''' Library?
Since the upgrade to version 9.0.1 of Firefox, the Bookmarks feature changes are confusing me. They seem to be confusing themselves as well. The list of bookmarks has changed. The font size is so small that my aging eyes cannot read it without fogging the screen with my breath. Some folders are out of alphabetical order (where I know they were previously good), and some are missing altogether (folders to which I frequently add references).
As for missing or deranged files or folders, was there something that I should have done or now need to do to recover those after the upgrade (or before)?
With regard to font size,
1. there is no “Edit Bookmarks” or like option to edit the list in this version
2. the “zoom” option in the “view” list of functions is greyed out when in “Show All Bookmarks” window
3. expanding the browser window has no effect on font size
4. “Preferences” settings for font size has no effect in that window either, including advanced settings
5. “Help” offers none that I can find.
Can any of you Help?!?
