Hello sir , I am facing alot of problem with my Iphone 5 (Touch is not working Properly , Battery back up is not good , Network Problem , Sometimes it get hang ) , This is My first Apple Product ,It was like dream for me and I was very much excited for this product but unfortunately i was very much shocked after seeing so many problems , I dont think so that your local service station would help me as i am not satisfied with their service and dealing , Kindly please help me Regarding Replacement of my Iphone5 as soon as possible , I ill wait for your reply, Thank you

If you buy a new on , then yes you will get all of that.
If it is replaced under warranty, then no. You will get a service unit, could be a refurb, with no accessories - you need to keep everything but the iphone itself when you have it exchanged.

i will give u a scenario.
suppose u have a cube where u store summarized data,
an ODS where u store the detailed data or item level data.
when u click on the particular characteristic on the query output result of the cube, the detailed item level data should be fetched from the ODS for that particular characteristic.
The second variable i.e on the characteristic (ODS) wont ask you to enter the value as it will pick it up from the cube directly.It will be in the input off state.

I have problem when i use variable replacement path, where it replace another variable.
The scenario is like this:
I have variable cal. month user input where the type is interval (let say it's called var A).
Then i create rep. path variable cal. month:
1. Replace with : Key
2. Use Interval : From Value.
I use this rep. path variable for restricted KF.
When i run the report:
I fill in the value for Var A:
01.2003 - 05.2003
The invalid things are:
1. Rep. Path variable only get the value 01.2003. The impact the KF is only restricted by 01.2003.
It supposed to be restricted by 01.2003, 02.2003, 03.2003, 04.2003.05.2003.
The questions are:
1. How can i overcome this problem?
2. How should i do, if i want to use replacement path in restricted KF that can restrict by 01.2003, 02..2003, 03.2003, 04.2003, 05.2003 ???
Could you help me to suggest what i should do please .. ?

Hi Niel,
When you use a variable(v1) of processing type replacement path and try to replace it wih another variable the replacement is only by single value. This you can find by details tab in the variable(v1) being created.
Hence you have only options of replacing it wih from value/ to value/ difference.
I didn't undersand why you wish to use variable(v1) wih processing type replacement path when you could have used the input variable type for restriction of the characteristic in the restricted key figure.
I think for your requirement variable processing by manual input is more suitable unless you have some reason for replacement which I didn't undestand.

Replacement of iphone5 on warranty.

My iphone5 had some screen issues and is still currently under 1 year warranty.
I would like to know if my replacement set will be a new set or one that is being refrubished(used before).

Sorry, there is no way to tell. Not even the genius bar staff can tell. All replacement iPhones come in a white box, and since all refurbished phones get new cases & batteries, they are indistinguishable from new.

but how i will come to know that in the column what i am fetching from the table the special characters are present.

In case you cannot use the regexp then try this not very elegant but will workselect replace(replace('This is a test $%&^&" ', '&', ''), '"', '') from dual;

HT4528 who does warranty replacement on iphone5 with verizon

I have a iphone 5 that is still within the one year warranty and purchased thru Verizon Wireless. The charge portion comes up with a warning that this charging cord is not authorized for this device. This is the cord that came with the iphone. Where do I take the phone, to Apple or Verizon?

U can take it to either verizon or apple. If u take it to verizon they will send it to apple for replacement/repair. I suggest take it to a apple store if u have one nearby.

Advice needed regarding replacing the HD

I have bought a 160GB drive for my last generation Powerbook. When trying to remove the old drive the two outermost screws holding the actual HD in will not budge at all. I have removed all the other screws, and I'm not new to this, having happily replaced HDs in Titanium Powerbooks and recently in a MacBook Pro. But these two screws are completely stuck. I have the correct size screwdrivers and have actually already damaged the heads of two screwdrivers trying to get the screws loose, but have not damaged the screws at all. Do I have to admit defeat and hand it over to a workshop? And in that case can they do a better job than I can or will they just round the screws off?
Does anyone have any experience of such a problem?

You have gotten some excellent advice, and it will probably serve to get your screws out. But I wanted to add my 2¢ for some remedies of last resort just in case you need them. This does not come from any knowledge of powerbooks, just of getting out stuck screws.
If you can safely apply a little heat to the screw head without harming anything else, this could help. You could use a low power soldering iron and you don't want to heat it up more than about 200º. This can do several things. If there is Loctite on the screw, it will soften it. It will also help the WD-40 to penetrate. And because of the difference in the coefficient of expansion between steel and aluminum, it will make the screw very slightly looser in the hole.
And if all else fails and you do have to drill something out, you should be aware that there are such things as left-handed drill bits. You can get a set of 5 from Snap-on, the smallest of which is 1/8". You will also need a reversible drill motor. The thing about drilling out a screw with a left-handed drill bit is that it will sometimes bite into what's left of the screw head well enough to break it loose and back it out, since it is turning in the proper direction to do this. A regular right-handed drill bit rotates in a direction to tighten, not to loosen.
Hopefully you won't need any of this information, especially if you have already applied the tiny bit of oil to be soaking into the threads for a few days while you attend to your baby daughter. But wanted you to have it just in case.

I guess I'll do that and if that doesn't work I'll write Apple and Seagate, but if that does not work, talk to a attorney about suing Apple.

Hello, my Iphone 5 was bought from France. It is having camera problem i.e. sometimes there are purple lines coming while taking still picture or vdo. I read about it on the Internet and it seems its a hardware problem. Anyway I was wondering that if I take the phone to an Apple Store in say Dubai will I get replace ment support (it is under warranty till 2nd Feb 2014)

No. The warranty is only valid in the country of original sale. The EU is considered one country for warranty and service purposes. You will need to take it to an Apple Store in an EU country to get it serviced.

Advise regarding replacing video clip

This is a repost as I accidentally posted this enquiry under FAQ.
I'm doing a documentary. Accordingly, I videod someone introducing part of the documentary's subject. I now want to replace (drop in) some of the visual clips with other visual scenes. However, I don't want to erase the audio track that was recorded at the same time, and would like to use as part of the narration. This is probably quite simple, but after a few days trying to navigate tutorials, I guess I might have overlooked how to do these basic editing steps in PE8.

Information regarding replacing a hard drive

We have a Macbook purchased in 2007 and a Macbook Pro purchased in 2006 that have hard drives running at about 90% full. I would like to upgrade them. What specs besides a 2.5 inch drive do I look for? Does it have to be a SATA or a serial drive? Are their size differences to look for? Any recommendations?

And, other online vendors. MacSales.com has online video and written tutorials on how to disassemble your computer in order to replace the drive.
At least one special tool is required - a small Torx driver (#6 is I recall) for the 2006 model. Not positive about the 2007 model.
Drives are available in capacities up to 640 GBs (that fit) and rotational speeds of 5400 or 7200 RPM (the latter is faster than the former.)
