For raw materials I have maintained safety lead time in the material master and I conduct MRP run. System create the purchase requisitions after MRP run. When I check the requirements in MD04 for the raw material, system show me rescheduled date.
But it doesnot mean that system has rescheduled purchase req.
Is there any transaction, so that I can reschedule the purchase req. ?

Hi,
Do you notice a star indicator next to the PR, if yes it means a firming of the PR has taken place. This firming can be due to manual modification or due to the PR falling in planning fence and an automatic firming.
MRP does not make changes to firmed proposals. So just close this PR & re-run MRP & system will generate an unfirmed PR. The MRP run will schedule the proposal on the need date.

MaheshI think the system gave this exception message becasue of some reason it was not able to do on its own. So, I guess you have to do it manually.
Are you sure it is not fimed?

An important group of the exception messages mentioned above are the rescheduling proposals. In the net requirements calculation, the system checks whether warehouse stock or firmed receipts are available in sufficient quantity to cover requirements. If a material shortage exists, the system usually creates a new procurement proposal. The rescheduling check is used to change the dates of already existing firmed receipts not planned on the same day as the requirement to suit the requirement date. For this purpose, the system displays the appropriate exception messages with rescheduling proposals for these firmed receipts to be processed by the MRP controller.

as far as i know, all planned orders that lie in the planning time fence are firmed. that means that they can no longer be changed automatically by the system in the planning run in long-term planning.
outside the planning time fence, the system creates order proposals as usual according to the shortage quantity and the lot-sizing procedure. once these planned orders move into the planning time fence, they are automatically firmed depending on the how you have set the firming type.
the planning time fence can be defined per material in the material master record or via the MRP group. -
Mass Reschedule of Purchase Orders - from MRP
We are using MRP (not ASCP). Is it possible to perform a mass reschedule of purchase orders (note, not purch reqs, but purchase orders), directly from the planner's workbench? I think it is not possible with MRP, but ASCP seems to have the functionality. Am I right? Has anyone got any workarounds or tips on how to mass reschedule given that MRP can't do it?
ThanksYou were also correct that ASCP does have that feature. You can reschedule the "need by date" of existing purchase orders from the ASCP planners workbench. You can query purchase orders by specific attributes (like category or supplier) and then adjust the dates and release these changes to purchasing.
MRP does not have the ability to reschedule existing purchase orders.

Question: how to move purchase req without firming
Hi SAP folks,
I've overcome this purchase req that is always showing after MPS run even the actual coverage is not so close to target (i.e. actual coverage=160, target coverage=30), i just want to know if there are possibilities that a purchase req can move in another date without firming it? i've tried removing PIRs but they still show up in the same period. Deleting it also not help as it again generated after closing.

Not sure what you're trying to achieve as the question is not quite clear, but based on what i understand, a procurement proposal is generated by mrp / mps run when the available stock is not able to meet the demand.
If the need date shifts to a later date, the mrp / mps run will automatically reschedule the procurement proposal to a later date if the same is not firmed. So from your side ensure that the PR is not firmed, then system will automatically reschedule the proposals.
A PR will be firmed if you manually edit it or manually create it or if MRP / MPS run firms the PR when it falls within the planning time fence.

MM Workflow - Purchase Req Release
Hi,
I have set-up MM Workflow to notify a user to release outstanding reqs. I used BUS2105/TS20000159 This works as expected. However the business want a summary of the req details to appear in the message. The standard message has no description. It just shows the Purchase Req No in the Subject Line.
I was hoping to call BUS2105 ->Method->PurchaseRequisition.GetDetail1. This calls BAPI: BAPI_PR_GETDETAIL and would give me the details I require. I would then populate this data in the body of the message.
I am pretty new to Work Flow and was hoping you could guide me in the steps required to achieve this please?

Firstly create a workflow container element of type as key parameter in the business object
1 .Create a step in the workflow
2. Create a task in the workflow
3. Assign the businees object in the task..
4. Create a container element in the task
5. Create binding between the TASK and METHOD of business object
6. Create binding between Workflow container element and Task Container element.
7. Then in Basic data of workflow ( HAT ICON) go to start events and assign the business object
and the event which has to trigger the workflow.
8. Create a step called mail so as to know whether it has triggered the workflow when the Business
object had triggered.
or
Switch on the event trace (SWELS) and check the event trace SWEL... if the workflow is triggered you would find reciever as workflow..
If you still have to view graphically the goto
Tutorials> Business Workflow> and see the topic how to create activity step in the workflow.

Planned order created after mrp run instead of purchase req
Hi All,
I am facing a strange problem about planned order being created after mrp run jobs runs in background instead of purchase req. This is happening randomly. In the material master MRP view 2 procurement type is F and in the varient for the MRP job the in Purchase requisition control parmater 1 is marked that is purchase requisition. Also planning file is having the entry once there is shortage and hence MRP run is there always if there is shortage of material.

Repeated purchase req. in MRP run procudure

Here at my client site, i have one scenario of mrp run of consumables.They maintain safety stock in material master MRP view,
I am using MRP type PD.Now after MRP run,system creates purchase requisition as per safety stock qty,( consider initial stock
is zero) now when i convert Purchase requisition into purchase order. i refresh the MD04 list, as soon as i refresh i get the
purchase req. converted into PO item.Upto this point its ok. but during this refresh function i get repeated purchase requisition
of the same quantity as previous one..Why this is happening? any specific reason behind this? my logic is not getting clear.
please assist me to find exact reason..

If the initial stock is zero then system will generate the PR for the safety stock also and then for the Dependent requirement.

Purchase req type after MRP Run
Ca we control the type of Purchase req after MRP Run.
Now for every material it is creating "NB" type purchase req.
Can we control it material type or by mat number.
We have 2-3 purchase req types in system for Material.

Goto -OPPR-Enter Plant Code and Maintain MRP Group -0000( as SAP Standrad for External Procurement ) -Select Scheduling /Doc Type tab -Here you can assing the PR type as per your requirement so the while MRP run , it will selct the PR documents types based on OPPR .At the same time , assing this MRP group in MRP1 view of the material .

And GRN No(MBLNR)., if they are created. But all purchase order should be displayed evenif their GRN have not been

2. Fetch Purchase Req from EBAN for all entries in above selected internal table where EBELN = EKKO-EBELN
3. Fetch GR info from EKBE for all entries in first selected internal table where EBELN = EKKO-EBELN and VGABE = '1'. (this indicates GR for a PO) and BWART in ('101', '102').

Loop through EKKO.
T_FINAL-EBELN = EKKO-EBELN.
Read EBAN with key EBELN = EKKO-EBELN.
T_FINAL-BANFN = EBAN-BANFN.
Loop through EKBE where EBELN = EKKO-EBELN. (there can be multiple docs for a single PO)
T_FINAL-MBLNR = EKBE-MBLNR.
Append T_FINAL.
Endloop.
If SY-SUBRC is not equal to 0. (If no GR happend, control will not go to EKBE loop, still you need to display it in ALV)
Append T_FINAL.
Endif.
Endloop.
5. Display the contents of T_FINAL in ALV.

I created a purchase Req and when and I have following doubts in this.
1. Once I entered plant itu2019s automatically populating storage location. Material maintained for different storage locations but I am not sure how it's populating specific one.
2. One I click on source of supply it shows me different info record and I selected one of the info record for assigning the source. How this process is different from mE57.To me both look same.
3. I created the PO and I entered different price then info record and my info update was checked but still it didn't update info record with new price. Any suggestion why?

1. You would be maintaining the MRP view of the MMR....Never forget the possible assignment for the Plant to the storage location is provided in the SPRO enterprise structure for the MM....
2. Yes the process is merely same...Also never forget that there may be many inforecords for the vendor material, based on the different organisatinal levels provided and for its combinations...
3. THe price never gets updated in the info record, but always the PO price history gets updated...you can see the PO price history in transaction ME1P...

Trigger CIF during custom field change on Purchase Req. and PO

We added a custom date field in Purchase Req. and Purchase Order transactions (ME52N/ME22N) in ECC. When this custom field gets changed along with any other standard field, outbound CIF process happens. However, when we change this custom field only, then outbound CIF doesn't happen. I believe we need change pointers and may be custom code to trigger outbound CIF. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to achieve this functionality.

Use user exit EXIT_SAPLMEAP_001 here, the structure CIFPUORCUS must be enhanced with custom fields so that the document date can be included (IT_OUTPUT_CUS).transferred to CT_MM_DOC. You need to fill EBAN and EKPO for change transfer. Also you can have the background job for RIMODINI to transfer the changes.

Creating Roles for Purchase Req. release strategy with classification
Hi friends,
Since I have created Purchase req rel strategy where I have four release strategy
1. For Plant 1 When value <= 5000 (Officer) will release , release code 01 release release strategy r1 and rel code L1
2 For Plant 1 When value >= 5000 (Manager) will release , release code 01 release release strategy r2and rel code L2
Now the manager will have 2 release code,if officer is absent he could release the requisition.
Same has to be done for plant 2
The release Group and code needs to be assigned to the Roles , could anybody tell me where i could know about roles and will be able to create roles and assign authorisation objects to the Roles , and release group and code to the enduser.
though its a basis job , since I have no idea , I mean I have never worked with Roles ,as now I have created the Release strategy with classification I need to assign authorisation objects to the Roles as I have four release strategy
1. For Plant 1 lower value of requisition 1 codeL1(Officer)
2 For higher value of requisition 2 code say Li and L2(Manager)
Manager should have 2 codes if officer is absent he could release
Same has to be done for Plant 2

2) Add the authorization Object M_EINK_FRG by taking the manual option
3) Assign Release Code and Release Grp
4) Assign the Role to the User ID which has the authorization of the Release Code and Grp.

Purchase Req. Document type during MRP Run
Dear All,
My reqmt. is that whenever I take MRP run of external procured items, System should generate Purchase
Req. for a particular Document type let say ZPE.as I want to control the no. range.
One thing I fopund was control through OPPR(MRP Group Settings).I have assigned the relevant MRP gp. to materials also,but still after MRP run,system picks up std.(NB) Doc. type for Purchase Req.
Kindly advise whether Iam missing some settings.if you want sytem to create our own type, u can create assigning MRP Group for your material.
Goto OPPR , Assign your PR Docuemnt type in under "stnd pur order" coloum in External Procurement option in OPPR for your plant/MRP group Combination.
i hope u already have created ZPE Pur requsition doc type
