Regarding return code 8 while importing trnsport request

hello friends,
i have encountered a problem while importing a transport request.
in log display the message is like this
ended with return code 8.
there is a syntax error in line no 5 of saplz_xxx_xxx program.
include program lz_xx_xx not found.
actually it is a function group, there is an include program at line no. 5.
how to solve this problem.
will it throw any error if the fg is stored in $tmp.
the function group concerned is stored in a customized package.
i hope to get a perfect answer.

Your include program at line 5 is missing in the target system and hence the error.
Just check the package of that include program and if it is not $tmp, check that this program is locked in which request ?
Transport that request to your target system and thereafter re-import your original transport and it will be success.

I have a base image I have created with an MDT task sequence, than I am then immediately capturing with another MDT task sequence (the capture sequence is basically the default). After capture, I get 0 errors, 1 warning: "Unexpected return code
while re-arming office 2010, RC= -1073425657".
I am capturing immedaitely after the base image build, and even more strangely, even with Office 2010 removed from my base build, I STILL get this warning! Office isn't even on there anymore (I verified before capture just to double check).
Not sure how or why this is happening - or more importantly, should I care? I've deployed a couple of machines using this image, and both Office and Windows show as activated. Can this safely be ignored, or if not... what is the fix?

Please read your own post again, can you tie the knots together, because your phrasing is going crazy!?!
However, if using the sysprep step from within a MDT task sequence, please scroll through the ZTISysprep.wsf to find that not only the machine will be sysprepped, but also Office 2010 will be automatically re-armed, this is provided in the script already,
so no need to run it on your own.
Ok how do i undo that because thatswhy the message appears to many rearms...
If a machine is domain joined, it will not sysprep and capture. Also I wouldn't sysprep and capture an already sysprepped and captured image again (based on gut feeling) and as always check your logfiles, they can reveal what is going on here.
The machine is not domain joined in the Vm. And i do not sysprep and capture twice.Which logfiles exactly to see?

Old request getting while import new request

In my Quality system, when i import the new request via STMS,everytime i have getting the old request. I delete everytime it but always come while import new request. How to delete permanant it?

Problem while Importing Transport Request

Hi Friends
We are trying to import a transport request, while importing abap dictionary objects, in the log it is showing not imported. we have tried the same request in other system, but it works fine there. Can you please anyone explain what may be the cause behind for this.

Error Getting return code while FTPing file through JAVA

Hello experts
My requirement is to send file to Mainframe server in a JOBQ.I used a socket to connect to server. A designated FTP ID is provided for authentication.
I tried to FTP file to mainframe sever, but while getting return code from server, i m recieving Junk values.I am reading return code through BufferReader.readline().
I have set up the connection mode to ASCII mode.I tried to set up the connection mode to EBSIDIC mode too, but i revieve the same error.
Any one have tried to FTP file to mainframe in got the same error.What could be the possible reason.

While importing a request error message' Check-sum error in data file'

We are trying to inport a request after putting the files in cofile and data file folders( 4.6C System).While doing so an error message is seen in the log " Check-sum error in data file after XXXX bytes".

It is sure your file is corrupted or not present.
Check in cofiles and data directory under /usr/sap/trans your transport request number.

Error while importting Transport Request

Hi,
I am getting following errors while Transporting requests from Development to Test System

The Transport request just contains one Transformation the corresponding DTP.
We are using BI 7 for Bank Analyzer and have just imported SP11. This problem has started coming only after the import of SP11.

Yes the DS were active. I tried to re-transport that too but the TR failed with similar error.
Finally I tried to manually activate the DTP in the Target system and got the same error. I rectified the problem by deleting the DTP from the Target system. But I am not sure why this happened. Please let me know if you have any idea abt the same.

Error message while importing transport request using STMS_IMPORT

Hello SAP gurus
I have created Transport Request files (K and R files_ and have placed Transport request files in trans and data directories of a target system.
On target system I started transaction code STMS_IMPORT and then selected
Extras -> Other Requests -> Add
Then selected the transport request number adn clicked on OK. I have done this before and had not seen the problem that I am seeing now.
At this point I get an error message
Transport control program tp ended with error code 0212
Errors: could not access file as supposed (see dev_tp or S
What am I doing wrong? Any suggestion or feedback will be highly appreciated.

I followed your instructions and so far here is what I have done.
Since this is just a test server, I have given full permissions to /usr directory and all the files and directories below that.
The user account is a copy of J2EE_ADMIN. I have also added   'SAP_ALL', 'S_TMW_IMPORT' Profiles.
I am attaching the log which still indicates that there is permission problem.
Any other suggestion will be highly appreciated.

        I am facing the problem with 0CM_CTAR and 0CM_SHAR. both the characteristics are not allowed compouding ATTRIBUTES.
0cm_ctar not allowed comp .attr of 0unit_dim

for this reason what i need to do. Please give me help on this.

Error occured while importing the transport request to quality

Hi,
The driver program and form are in active status. We got the output also.
When we checked the transport log for request(TR), it says that the form is not yet imported into EQ1. The system will update the transport log if there is any error related to driver program or form. Here we donu2019t find any error. As per the system response, u2018Import post-processing is not performed for this objectu2019.
I am getting below error while importing the request.

Restarting Client export which ended with return code 8.

I have performed an client export using SCC8 and the export ended with return code 8. stating the request cannot be imported. I have fixed the errors. I would like to know how do i restart the same export instead of doing a other client export. KIndly let me know as early as possible as it is very urgent.

Thanks for the reply, One of my colligue is telling no need of transport elements under the query. why means we copied (dev) one of our query and just changed the Variable to curent fiscalyear/period. now we to transport this query. My colligue is telling any way thos elements are there in old query , and telling no need to transport those. Is it correct or again we need to collect all those using elements in that query while transporting ?

once check the objects are active or not.
if objects are active
1. Goto rsa1.click on Transport connection.
2. select your objects, draga and droup into rightside pannel
3. click on Truck button to create the request.
4. select your datatargets, drag and droup into pannel
5. create the request for the same.
6. goto SE09.
7. Release the request.
8. import that request in QUA system.

HTTP Return Code Checking on ACE

Hey there.
I have a question regarding return code checking for a serverfarm on ACE. I am looking to have the ability to monitor a client's session real-time and monitor return codes passing back from the origin servers to the client.
For example, if during a client's session there is a single HTTP 500 error code sent from server to client, the intercept that response and first retry the request on a different server in the farm. Or perhaps only if I see three 500 error codes in 30 seconds. Something like that.
From what I can tell from the docs the retcode check command for a serverfarm is maybe only for statistical purposes?

In ACE return codes checking is only used to count number of return codes from Rservers. Unlike CSMs (where return codes were used for inband health monitoring) ACE is not using them for load balancing or inband health
monitoring. Once you enable return code checking and counting you can then display the return code statistics per serverfarm

Please check the transport log at OS level. below is the path
/usr/sap/trans/log.
You can also check from SAP level. After the transport is import go log button in the STMS_IMPORT tcode >>> expand all the possible values... you can find the exact reason why the transport ended with error.
And also plesae check if nay entry exits in TRBAT table .

I have modified SAP standard transaction with Implicit enhancement frame.
While importing the request to QA system it was imported with the following WARNING message

Try activating the enhancement again in development and transport it again.
Moreover Warning message should not be a issue....check in Quality whether you are able to run your enhancement or not, if not than transport again after activation.
