Hello guys,
i did SAP-ABAP certification and doing job in ABAP support....can anyone tell me where exactly this certification will be helpful for me ??...and how??...i m asking this because i invest lot of money for this certification course ...
please guide me in the right direction...dnt make fun of this question

Tech Mahindra on Monday outbid L&T and others and won the Satyam bid, TV reports said.
According to Times Now sources, Tech Mahindra will pay Rs 1757cr for 31% stake in Satyam. It will pay Rs 58 per share of the company. The face value of Satyam shares is Rs 2 per share.
Meanwhile engineering firm L&T reportedly made an offer of around Rs 49 for each Satyam share.
L&T, Tech Mahindra and Wilbur Ross had all put in technical and financial bid for Satyam Computer Services earlier on Monday.
BK Modi's Spice Corp did not submita bid for Satyam. "We have not submitted bid for Satyam. Our board wanted e-auction and since there is no e-auction, so we decided not to participate in the process," Spice Corp chairman B K Modi said.

Last time I checked with Siemens, they were very strict on the policy of ONLY SAP related work experience of atleast 2 years ONLY with a SAP customer / partner.
I doubt your case is such. Still, as mentioned before, go through some threads on this forum and also contact the SAP Education partners for more information. No one can be more accurate than them.

Regarding SAP certification verification

I've taken my certification on 29th of july from one of the Pearson VUE centers
I got my score card as pass.
However, When one of the companies contacted for the formal cerifications purpose, The confirmed my ID as "NOT VALID"
My SID is s0007017736.

It is not possible to answer with authority on the uncertain questions which are subject to something happen.
My points:
1. SAP Certification is a knowledge enhancer, but there is no guarantee that every SAP Certified Consultants gets a guarantee job. Please note there are number of SAP Certified consultants (freshers) are still waiting for job, this is very high in SAP FI. You need to compete with all of them who has more experience and domain knowledge. What would happen if your Certification does not fetch you SAP Job? Then there would not be a question of salary comparisons.
2. Will I be given a chance in Implementation or Support:
Nobody can give answer to this question, even the company. Nobody knows what project you would put into. It is very dynamic market. You may have to pick up any work based on the client's available positions.
3. Is it OK if I have to work at 4.00 lacks per annum?
Anything could be possible? If they do not like your performance, they can make you redundant. If the client's position is not good, they could even reduce the salary or no hike for next few years or if they like your performance so much, they can even double your salary with a promotion. It all depends on various conditions, which nobody else here can answer that. Note there are many performance driven personnel are getting negligible amount of hikes or no hikes, they are getting.
4. & what % hike i can expect if i choose to switch?
If you are thinking hike before even starting to know what is SAP, then the better option is to drop coming to SAP field and continue what you are doing and excel in your current field. My words may look pessimistic, when you need to learn something, you should do it with passion. At this point strictly salary should be your primary motto, getting much exposure in SAP should be your aim.

Help Required Regarding - SAP Job names using R3 data flows

We are calling a set of SAP Jobs using R3 data flows in data services. When ever a job fails we first kill the active SAP jobs by logging into SAP and then restarting the Jobs.
There are about 100 odd SAP jobs that we call using these Data services Jobs so we wanted to kill the jobs using a reusable code on the SAP side by passing the Job name just before every R3 flows just incase its still in active status.
So wanted to know if there are any short cuts to retrive the set of associated SAP job names because it will be a tedious process to hardcode the SAP job names and pass them as parameters for all the 100 + SAP job names in the custom defined resuable code.
Any help or advice on this please !!

The program is not meeting the expectations
and the problem is due to reflection.Do we know this for certain?

etc. from an XML file so i don't know their method names

Now since every class instance corresponds to a row
in the database and i have to call get and set
methods of each class instance so the performance
keeps on degrading as the number of columns and rows increase .
Can somebody suggest some improvement regarding this
and regarding creating multiple instances of the same object Class.forName() will be using a hash already, so there is probably not much room for improvement.
Class.newInstance() probably does not take significantly more processing than a simple "new Fubar();".
Umpteen reflective method invokations (one per column) for each row/instance - Are you saying these are the problem?
You can test this easy enough.
If you comment out the reflective method invocations and leave the rest of your code untouched,
does your application processing speed up significantly?

My SAP Certification Voucher cannot be used

I purchased a Voucher from SAP on FEB 27 2014 worth 500$ for my SAP certification exam i.e., C_TADM70_73 and scheduled for my exam on AUGUST 15th 2014, due to some unavoidable situation i couldn't able to take certification exam on that day, and i get it cancelled it by calling Pearson customer care.
and now today when i am trying to schedule it for the same certification and using the same Voucher, it is saying it is saying the Voucher has been already used at pearsonview website, when i called pearsonview they said it has been used by someone else or a voucher corrupted.
now i am talking to SAP Education north america, see if they can fix it or at least find who used it.
does anyone face this kind of issue before.
here i am worried because my voucher will expire on august 31 2014(Technically i must have to use it by August 29 2014). not sure if SAP can fix this by that time.

Normally these vouchers are valid for one year.
If you are genuinely not used, you do not need to worry about that, it must be a technical issue. I am sure SAP Education should be able to help you.
If it is used, they will every record that who has used, when is used and for which exam it is used.
Please talk to SAP Education, they would be able to assist you.

As far as I know, there is no Treasury Certification in SAP for associate level.

Refer to the materials TAW10,TAW11,TAW12. Those will be helpful.
You can also attend sample tests in SAPdomain.com.
Just go through the F1 help of all the elements on the screen.
That will help you a lot.
Maintain a schedule for what you are preparing and what you want to do in th next days ,that will let you know the status of your preparation.

consultancy experieince is a must to clear the certifiication , sap india will look for few criteras like that u should have worked in sap with same company i.e in consulting experieince and some times ask the experieince certificate from company hr department if they are not satisifed

Question about SAP Certification

We want to take a SAP Certification for a product which based on J2EE platform, There a many kinds of certifications provided by SAP ICC. Can anybody tell me:
1、Which kind of certification we can take: Certification for SAP or Power by NetWeaver;
2、The difference between these certifications;
3、The price of certifications took by SAP ICC.

You can do multiple certifications based on your requirements. As your product is J2EE compliant, you can certify its deployment on SAP NetWeaver WAS.
If you also exchange data with SAP applications to enable a functional scenario, you can certify this scenario. The certification in this case would depend on the following :
-- Which SAP solution you are integrating to
-- Using what integration technology and
-- to enable which functional/technical scneario.
Please contact [email protected] to get more information on this and whcih integration scenario makes the most sense.
The certification fee depends on the integration scenario that you want to certify with.
Certain integration scenarios that make use of the NetWeaver and its underlying strength also get qualified to use the "Powered By SAP NetWeaver" logo.
